Gentry Stanley, 27

Miss Gentry Michael Stanley of Hodgenville, daughter of Geri B. Stanley and the late Jackey Randall Stanley, was born on June 28, 1994 in Orange Park, Florida. She departed this life on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Baptist Health Hardin Hospital, being 27 years, 3 months, and 12 days of age.

She was a member of Greater Works Church in Hodgenville.

Besides her father, Miss Stanley was preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents: Bill and Nancy Stanley; an uncle: Michael Todd Bland; and a cousin: Dylan Michael Bland.

In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory:

A sister: Jessica Wafford and husband Ryan of Hodgenville,

Maternal grandparents: Linda Tucker Bland of Campbellsville and Gerald Bland of Mannsville,

An uncle and aunt: Jason and Kimberly Bland of Campbellsville,

Niece and nephews: Evan Wafford, Owen Wafford, and Hensley Wafford,

A cousin: Madelyn Bland,

And several other extended family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Miss Stanley on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. She will be laid to rest beside her father in the Tallow Creek Cemetery following the service. Pastor Edward Palmer will be officiating.

Visitation will commence at 11:00 AM, and continue until time for the service.

The family would like to thank the staff of Maxim Nursing for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Galilean Children’s Home in Liberty, Kentucky. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Miss Stanley was deeply loved – and reciprocated that love many times over.

William “W.K.” Baker, 74

William Kyle “W.K.” Baker, the son of the late Donald and Maydell (Murphy) Baker, was born August 6, 1947 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 74 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Church of God Faith.

He was a former employee of fruit of the Loom and was a former corrections officer and later the fire inspector for Marion County Adjustment Center.

W.K. as he was mostly called, enjoyed racing cars, hunting and going fishing with his wife before her passing.

He united in marriage to Eloise Bea (Maynard) Baker, who preceded him in death in 2019.

To this union were born two sons: Two sons: Scott Baker and wife Brandy of Largo, Florida and Steven Baker and wife Tabitha of Elk Horn.

Also surviving is abrother: Bobby Baker and wife Donna of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren; Nine grandchildren: Nicole Baker, Landon Baker, Alyssa Baker, Jaxon Caudel, Zeyta Caudel, Indica Baker, Michael Baker, Alex Baker, and Sativa Baker; two great-grandson: Wayde Baker and Waylon Baker; his grand-dog: Tucker.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his step-mother: Christine Baker.

The funeral service for William “W.K.” Baker will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Bro. Jay Damron will be officiating.

Hilma Gay Noel, 85

Mrs. Hilma Gay Noel, daughter of Walter and Edith (Carroll) King, was born in Casey County on May 22, 1936. She departed this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center, being 85 years of age. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Taylor County Elementary School Daycare. Mrs. Noel had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the First Church of God. A natural caretaker, she was an exceptional cook, and quilted many family heirlooms.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Three children: Carolyn Gaskins and husband Harlin, Karen Miller and husband Roger, and Greg Noel and wife Johnna, all of Campbellsville,

Six grandchildren: Jessica Bright and husband Brent, Ryan Miller and wife Stacey, Chasidy Thompson and husband Charlie, Tamara Prather and husband Austin, Lance Noel and wife Kim, and Whitney Dorsett and husband Trey,

Seventeen great-grandchildren,

Three great-great grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her spouse, Wilbur Noel, a brother, Wendell King, and a grandson, Glen Eric Skaggs.

There wil be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Noel on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. David Wray will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 12, after 11:00 AM until time for the service.

Glen Eric Skaggs, 41

Glen Eric Skaggs, the son of Glen Skaggs and Carolyn (Noel) Gaskins, was born October 15, 1979 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. He was 41 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pallestine Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, loved all animals, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his father: Glen Skaggs of Lebanon; his mother: Carolyn (Noel) Gaskins and husband Harlin of Campbellsville; his children: Quentin, Gabrielle “Gabbie”, Camren and Griffin Skaggs; his sister: Jessica Bright and husband Brent of Cincinnati; three grandchildren: Asher Skaggs, Azali Humphress and Adelaide Humphress; a nephew: Ethan Bright and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Glen Eric Skaggs will be Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.

Ms. Rebecca Renee Brown of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her home. Born in Mendota, Illinois on October 14, 1975, she was 45 years, 11 months, and 19 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Brown was an employee of Bluegrass Way. She was a talented artist, a cherished mother, daughter, and sister, and an exceptional friend to many.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

Her mother: Benita J. and Alan “Pops” Cheshire of Hodgenville,
