Jimmy Keith Burress, Sr, of the Speck Ridge Community of Taylor County, the son of the late Harold “Bo” and Ruth Edna (Farmer) Burress, was born December 31, 1949 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his residence.
He was 75 years of age.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and of the Christian Faith.
Jimmy enjoyed watching TV, cooking and sitting on the porch watching and listening to nature.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: LaTisha Lee Burress Brown; a brother: Danny Burress; a sister: Shelia Burress.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Connie (Callahan) Burress; a son: Jimmy Burress, Jr.
Also his grandsons: Michael and Hunter Brown.
Three sisters and two brothers: Bernice and Tommy Woods, Betty and Byron Eastridge, Johnny and Sharon Burress, David Paul Burress and Bonnie Harper; his brothers-in-law: Jr and Sharon Jennings, Ronnie Callahan and Delbert Perkins and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Terry Donald “Billy Bob” Murphy, of Campbellsville, the son of the late David Oliver and Mary Leila (Sapp) Murphy, was born May 1, 1957 in Marion County and departed this life on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. at his home. He was 68 years of age.
He was a retired employee of Cox Interiors and was of the Christian Faith.
Terry enjoyed sports, farming, making people laugh and spending time with family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Gregory Murphy, Sr.
Survivors include his wife: Cherry (Wilson) Murphy; a daughter and son: Jamie Ann Knopp and husband John and Terry Bryan Murphy and wife Jessica.
Four brothers and three sister: Gary Murphy, Chris Murphy and wife Debbie, Pat Murphy and wife Betty, Dianne Kelly and husband Steve, Timothy Murphy and wife Debra, Monica Price and husband Bobby, and Donna Perkins and husband Johnnie; a sister-in-law: Charlotte Murphy.
Also six grandchildren: Tye Murphy and wife Paige, Abi Dye and husband Evan, Haleigh Collison and husband Josh, Lily, Ryder and Evie Murphy; four great-grandchildren and one expectant: L.J., Russell, Hayden, William and Mady.
The funeral service for Terry Murphy will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Donna Marie Jude of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Richard and Mable (Pennington) Stubbs, was born April 9, 1958, in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 67 years of age,
She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.
Donna enjoyed horseback riding, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Elda “Kathy” Beach.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Jude of Tennessee; a daughter, Brandie Rhoads and husband John of Virginia.
Also a brother: George Little of Greensburg; two grandchildren: MaKayla and Yuna; her former husband: Richard Jude of Tennessee; her cousin and caregiver: Dorothy Lowe of Campbellsville.
A private service was conducted on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery.

Robert Lee “Bobby” Smiley, formerly of Adair County, the son of the late Oscar ray and Laura (Alley) Smiley, was born June 5, 1933 in Columbia, KY and departed this life on Friday, September 12, 2025 in Greensburg at the Green River Trails. He was 92 years of age.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army as an MP during the Korean War, a Masonic Lodge Member in Greenwood, Indiana and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a daughter: Robin Lynn Smiley of Campbellsville; a brother: Phillip Smiley and wife Brenda of Campbellsville; a sister: Jean Quinn of Columbia and a host of nieces and nephews including Greg Smiley of Campbellsville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Nella Fae (Burton) Smiley; his siblings: Eldred Ray Smiley, Demeree Smiley, Marie Stephens, Mable Burton and Doris Smiley.
To honor his request, NO public visitation or services were conducted.
Entombment was in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.

Herman Leon “Lee” Drury, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Herman Larue and Eula Faye (Harlow) Drury, was born August 5, 1945 in Lawrenceburg, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 80 years of age. He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Airforce during Vietnam and was retired from GTE. Lee enjoyed farming, woodworking, reading, motorcycles and refurbishing old cars. He united in marriage to Barbara Ann (Kingery) in November 7, 1967, who survives. To this union was born one daughter Paige Drury of Campbellsville. Also surviving is a brother: Vernon Drury and wife Louise of Salvisa, KY and a special longtime friend: Kenny Hopper. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters: Daryl Drury, Lena Frances Wilkins and Bonita Gayle Tingle.
To honor the wishes of Mr. Drury, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
