William Patrick ‘Stubbs’ Myers, 58

William Patrick “Stubbs” Myers, the son of the late Roberrt Thomas and Sally Carol (Beard) Myers, was born December 23, 1962 in the St. Joe Community of Marion County and departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 58 years of age.

He was the former operator of S & L Gutters and was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa G. (Humphress) Myers of Campbellsville; four Children: Chelsea and Michelle Nelson Campbellsville and Joseph Myers Wise of Campbellsville, Jordan Hunt and husband Richard of Cave City and Cory Myers and Kayla of Elizabethtown; his sisters: Gayla Thomas and husband Scott of Calvary, Paula Canant and husband Kenneth of Owensboro and Greta Mucci and husband Jim of Casey County, KY; his grandchildren: Alex, Alysa, Braydan, Ava, Sebastian and Hunter.

Also surviving is his his step-mother: Libby Myers Wetherford of Lebanon; his father-in-law and mother-in-law:Winfred “Jolly” and Elsa Katheryn (Lee) Humphress of Campbellsville; twelve nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard T. “Ricky” Myers, Robert A. “Ears” Myers and Joseph M. Myers.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Family requests visitation after 5 PM on Saturday until time for service.

Memorials are suggested to the Funeral Expense Fund which can be made at the funeral home or by clicking ‘Donation” at the top of the obituary.

Jeffrey Michael Roution, 54

Mr. Jeffrey Michael Roution of Campbellsville was born in Green County on July 12, 1966. He departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home, being 54 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mike was a talented woodworker and enjoyed time spent fishing or playing cards with his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His mother: Partha (Kidd) Martin and husband Larry,

A daughter: Jennifer Murrell and husband Brandon,

A step-brother: Russell Martin and wife Jane of California,

Three grandchildren: Auston Murrell, Dallas Murrell, and Sarah Murrell,

And a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Roution, and a half-sister, Marilyn Landis.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Roution on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Lemmons Bend Cemetery.

James M. Hash, 74

Mr. James Michael Hash of Campbellsville, son of the late Basil and Anna Ernstine “Sue” (Rushing) Hash, was born in Taylor County on September 13, 1946. He departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Elizabethtown, having attained the age of 74 years, 4 months, and 15 days. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired construction employee, and had served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by:

Two sons: Jamie Hash of Louisiana, and Mark Jason Hash of Michigan, and their mother: Lynn Marie Hash Fisher,

Two brothers: Dennis Hash and Steve Hash, both of Michigan,

Four grandchildren,

One great-grandchild,

Three local cousins: Rita Moyers, Sam Hash, and Barbara Baldwin,

And several other family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Hash on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 12:00 PM until time for the service.

Maryvene Wheeler, the daughter of the late Lucian and Garnett Rose (Preston) Walls, was born March 22, 1946 in Louisville and departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin She was 74 years of age.

She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.

She enjoyed reading, computer games, crocheting, quilting, making clothes and mainly being the boss.

She united in marriage to Frank Leslie Wheeler, Jr. who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter: Larry Wheeler and Frankie Cox and husband Roger all of Campbellsville; two step-daughters: Marsha Taylor of Florida and Sabrina Goff of Hodgenville; four sisters: Kathryn Shutts of Kansas, Joyce Berentz of Lebanon, Jenell R. Oller of Louisville and Marie Arnold of Perryville; her life-companion: Rick Taylor of Sonora; a daughter-in-law: Jammie Wheeler of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Maryvene was also preceded in death by two sons: Jeff Wheeler and Johnny Wheeler, two brothers: Earl and Billy Robertson and a grandson: Christopher Blake Gilbert.

The funeral service for Maryvene Wheeler will be Wednesday, February, 3, 2021 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Bro. Larry Fella Wilson will be officiating.

Edith Coakley, 90

Edith Coakley, the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl (Hickinbottom) Glover, was born August 17, 1930 in Jamestown, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 90 years of age.

She was a former home health worker and attended the Green River House of Worship.

Edith enjoyed gardening and being outside, either working or just enjoying natures beauty.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold T. Coakley, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by: two daughters and three sons: Betty Jo Shively, Peggy Sue Gilpin and husband Les, Danny Joe Buck and wife Brenda, George A. Buck and wife Wanda and James Mitchell Buck all of Campbellsville; a sister-in-law: Gwendola Glover of Indiana; a special friend: Mac Cox of Campbellsville; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Edith Coakley will be conducted Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Bro. Jeff Edwards will be officiating.
