John Michael Ferriell, of Campbellsville, the son of the late John Alfonso and Monica (Hinton) Ferriell, was born December 9, 1946 in Louisville and departed this life on October 6, 2020 in Louisville at the Signature Health Care Rockford. He was 73 years of age. He was an inspector for Tube Turns in Louisville, a Veteran of the United States Army and was of the Catholic Faith. He was a past Commander and lifetime member of the American Legion Dixie Post #220, and was an avid fisherman. He united in marriage to Rose (Neace) Ferriell, who survives. To this union were born two children: Brecca (Kenny) Russell of Louisville and Scott Ferriell of Campbellsville. Also surviving is a grandson: Jonathan Ferriell of Louisville; lifelong friends: Mike and Alice Leon of Louisville.
The funeral service for John Michael Ferriell will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Father Saju Vadakumpadan officiating.
Visitation after 11:30 A.M. Tuesday until time for the service.

hodom “Pete” Edward Crabtree, 63, of Knoxville, TN, left this heavenly earth on September 29th, 2020. Pete is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Crabtree of Campbellsville, KY. Pete is survived by his loving wife of almost 20 years, Nancy Carole Crabtree, and his children, Kelsey Crabtree Maynard (Todd), Thomas Morgan Crabtree, Taylor Michael Crabtree, Katherine McLees Orem (Anson), Steven Hunter McLees (Kelley) and William “Liam” Harper McLees. Pete is also survived by his father, Dwight Allen Crabtree and brother Dwight Allen Crabtree, Jr. of Campbellsville, KY. Pete also leaves behind several grandchildren and several other loving family members across the country. Pete was born and raised in Campbellsville, KY on January 8th, 1957 and was an avid baseball player. As a first generation college graduate, Pete chose to pursue his degree from The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Acquisitions was Pete’s chosen career for over 40 years. While he wasn’t working, Pete enjoyed nothing more than spending time traveling with his wife and children, playing golf, riding his motorcycle, boating and listening to Metallica. Mrs. Betty Lou Hunt of Campbellsville passed from this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her home. Born on December 29, 1940 to the late Gus and Flossie Mea (Cox) Edelen, she was 79 years, 8 months, and 28 days of age. Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and working in her yard. Mr. Ricky Lewis Patton of Campbellsville was born on June 9, 1960 to the late Joy Winifred and Doris Jean (Wood) Patton. He departed this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020 being 60 years, 3 months, and 17 days of age. Mr. Patton was a graduate of Campbellsville University, where he had earned his bachelor of science degree. He had originally planned to practice as a certified public accountant, but joined his father in the family business instead. A good-hearted man, he was an exceptional mechanic and, after the passing of his father, became the owner and operator of Pat’s Transmission Shop. Mr. Gary Glenn Goodin of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. Son of the late Glenn Vilie and Ollie Alice (Roberts) Goodin, he was born on June 24, 1949 in Taylor County and was 71 years, 2 months, and 28 days of age. Mr. Goodin had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn United Methodist Church. He was a former truck driver and an employee of the Boco Station. He had served his community as a Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy lake patrolman, and served his country honorably in the National Guard. Mr. Goodin loved people and had a naturally helpful heart. He enjoyed keeping his yard neat and in order, and shared many laughs with his family over a plate of frog legs.
