Mr. Gary Glenn Goodin of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. Son of the late Glenn Vilie and Ollie Alice (Roberts) Goodin, he was born on June 24, 1949 in Taylor County and was 71 years, 2 months, and 28 days of age. Mr. Goodin had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn United Methodist Church. He was a former truck driver and an employee of the Boco Station. He had served his community as a Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy lake patrolman, and served his country honorably in the National Guard. Mr. Goodin loved people and had a naturally helpful heart. He enjoyed keeping his yard neat and in order, and shared many laughs with his family over a plate of frog legs. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife: Mrs. Sue (Gilpin) Goodin, Two children: Matt Goodin and wife Lesley of Greensburg, and Greg Walker and wife Jamie of Indiana, Four siblings: Linda Williams and husband Richard, Delma Wise and husband Willard, and Shirley Newton and husband Dale, all of Campbellsville, and his twin sister Sherry Cowan and husband Phillip of Columbia, Four grandchildren: Christian Goodin, Hannah Goodin, Kelsey Walker, and Nolan Walker, And a host of other family and friends. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Goodin. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Goodin on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Ronnie Dooley and Bro. Jason Roop will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept 24, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Mrs. Linda Lou Alford of Campbellsville was born in Scottsville, KY on December 7, 1944 to Mazie (Wilkerson) Kettles and the late Ray Kettles. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 being 75 years, 9 months, and 12 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. A sweet and loving lady, she was an exceptional homemaker; she enjoyed raising a garden and cooking and canning for her family. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1997 and spent the later part of her years attending her beloved Sunday School class. Mrs. Alford had a strong faith, and joyfully instilled in her children the love of God and church. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her husband: James L. Mr. Thomas Gene Ruffino of Campbellsville was born August 16, 1957 to Tony and Eunice (Pilgreen) Ruffino. He departed this life on September 19, 2020, being 63 years, 1 month, and 3 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Vineyard Church. He was a Manager at Kroger, having worked in the produce department for twelve years. Mrs. Teri Ann Pruyne of Campbellsville was born in Northridge, California on July 14, 1954 to the late Douglas and Ruth (Timmons) LaBerteaux. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Louisville, being 66 years, 2 months, and 5 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Vineyard Church. A kind and loving lady with a compassionate heart, she was instrumental in the formation of Grace Resource Center, a Christian-based homeless shelter in the Antelope Valley area of California, and was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Tommy Ann Pyles, the daughter of the late Tommie and Dorothy (Rucker) Brockman, was born October 23, 1940 in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab. She was 79 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Presbyterian Church and a retiree of Fruit of the Loom after more than forty years. She united in marriage to Bobby Pyles of Campbellsville, who survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son: Brad Pyles and wife Mary of Wilmore; two grandchildren: Eli Pyles and Emmy Pyles; a brother: Charles Brockman and wife Barbara of Florida; aunt and special friend: JoAnn Blevins of Campbellsville. The funeral service for Tommy Ann Pyles will be conducted Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R.
