Jennifer Stotts Fulwider, 46

Mrs. Jennifer (Stotts) Fulwider of Danville, formerly of Columbia, passed from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the Ephriam McDowell Hospital after an illness. Born on December 7, 1973, she was 46 years and 15 days of age. Mrs. Fulwider was a quiet and private person, and was of the Christian faith.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

One sister: Sherri Morgan of Campbellsville,

Four aunts and uncles: Shirley Murphy of Campbellsville, Carl Mings of Russell Springs, Larry Stotts of Columbia, and James Stotts of Columbia,

Two nieces,

And several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frankie and Fredia (Mings) Stotts; and a sister: Shannon Stotts.

Cremation was chosen. There were no public services.

Doris Lewis, 84

Mrs. Doris Marie Lewis of Campbellsville was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on March 23, 1935 to the late John and Celia (Asborn) Williams. She passed from this life on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Facility, being 84 years, 9 months, and 1 day of age. Mrs. Lewis had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a retiree of the Fruit of the Loom plant and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lewis was a kind person with a soft spot for animals. When she wasn’t shopping yard sales, she was often trying to brighten someone’s day by strumming a song on her guitar.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

Three children: Mike Berry and wife Gail of Jamestown, Melissa Lewis and significant other Tim Montgomery of Campbellsville, and Keith Lewis of Campbellsville,

Two sisters: Lois Carroll and Polly Morris and husband Robert, all of Campbellsville,

A brother-in-law: Buddy Stayton of Campbellsville,

Five grandchildren,

Four great-grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Howard Lewis, and five siblings, Gladys Stayton, Hester McDaniel, Eula Wheatcroft, Millard Wiliams, and Odell Williams.

The family chose cremation. All services were held privately.

Terry King, 55

Mr. Terry King of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Louisville at the Norton Pavilion Hospice facility. Born on August 4, 1964 to Judy (Bishop) Vetter and the late Kelly Burton, he was 55 years, 4 months, and 27 days of age. As a child, he was left with a permanent disability as the result of an unfortunate accident, but he still became a talented drummer and guitarist. He enjoyed watching watching movies with his family, and will be remembered as a great dad and grandfather.

One daughter: Kelly Jo King and companion Cody Johnson of Russell Springs,

Two stepchildren: Maelea & Elonia “Bugg” Dalton,

Seven siblings: Tracy Thompson and husband Garrett, Lisa Hoosier and husband Daniel, Scarlet Devine and husband Carl, Kelly Burton, Jr. and wife Lisa, Isreal Burton, Kristina Daffron, and Jordan Burton,

Two grandchildren: C.J. Johnson and Eliza Cristina,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Mr. George Vetter, who loved him and raised him as his own.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. King on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 3, after 3:00 PM until time for the service.

Mrs. Ella Mae Wright of Campbellsville was born on May 17, 1955 in Adair County and passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home. Daughter of the late Edwin “Tootie” Tarter and Martha Taylor, she was 64 years, 7 months, and 10 days of age. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved music and enjoyed singing, especially at church. If she wasn’t playing Rook with her friends or family, she was often found socialising at Druthers restaurant.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

Two children: Angela Escudero and fiance Chava Secundino of Columbia, and Gary Wright and companion Cherita Wright of Campbellsville,

Eight siblings: Danny Tarter, Andy Tarter, Carolyn Tarter, Charles Tarter, Rosa Tarter, Terry Tarter, Peggy Tarter, and Coda Tarter,

Four grandchildren: Tommie Escudero, Juan Escudero, Carson Escudero, Kayidan Escudero,

Three great-grandchildren: Isabella, Khloe, and Gracie,

And a host of other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her husband: Gary Wright; a son: Willaim Clavis Wright; and two siblings: David Tarter and Linda Ford.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Wright on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 30, after 2:00 PM until time for the service.

Gary Henderson, 65

Mr. Gary Dale Henderson of Campbellsville passed from this life on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Jewish Hospital after an extended illness. Born on May 31, 1954, he was 65 years, 6 months, and 27 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a truck driver, retiring only when his health began to fail. He loved watching races, especially dragsters and NASCAR, and attended as many events as he could. He had a knack for motors, and was a talented mechanic until the end.

Mr. Henderson leaves to carry his legacy:

Three children: Allen Henderson and wife Brenda of Greer, South Carolina, Michael Henderson and wife Bonnie of Fletcher, North Carolina, and Derek Henderson and wife Kimberley of Greenville, South Carolina,

One stepdaughter: Diane Cox of Campbellsville,

A former spouse and the mother of his children: Jackie Bailey of Campbellsville,

Two sisters: Juanita Wolford of Campbellsville, and Paula Grumbles and husband Roger “Whitey” of Travelers Rest, South Carolina,

Nine grandchildren,

One great-grandchild,

Two close friends: Doug Wolford and Daniel Bryant,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents: Vird Lewis and Ermine (Coakley) Henderson; and two siblings: Lillie Whitlow and Wilbur Henderson.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Henderson on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Dec 29, from 12:30 until time for the service.
