Donna Sue Stayton

Donna Sue Stayton of Knifley, KY, the daughter of the late Aaron “Buck” Huston Harden and Betty Jo Parker Harden, was born December 6, 1951, and departed this life on August 8, 2025, in Glasgow. She was 73 years of age.

She was a homemaker and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and retired from Campbellsville Apparel. She loved spending time with her grandkids and drinking a good cup of coffee. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, bargain hunting, and flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Stayton of Knifley, and two sons, Gregory Lynn Stayton and Christopher Dale Stayton, both of Knifley. Two grandchildren, Nolan Dale Stayton and Nora Kay Stayton. Two brothers, Ricky Hardin (Charlotte) and Jackie Darrell Harden, both of Knifley. Three sisters, Sharon Gail Roberts (Larry) of Indiana, Bonnie Lou Lozier of Indiana, and Vanessa Jolynn Garibay (Edward) of PA. One brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Phyllis Wilson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Charlotte Kay Hovious and Anthony Nell Harden, and two infant siblings, Charlie Ray Harden and Roger Dale Harden.

The funeral service for Donna Sue Stayton will be Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Harden Cemetery.

Bro. Raymond Atwood will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 5-8 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Randy Thomas Wilson, 68

Randy Thomas Wilson, of Louisville, formerly of Bradfordsville, the son of the late Henry Thomas Wilson, Jr and Sharon Skaggs, was born April 24, 1957 in Illinois, and departed this life on Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Campbellsville at the home of his daughter. He was 68 years of age.

He was a former Armored Truck Driver and was of the Baptist Faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Velda Pierce.

Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, arrowhead hunting, frog gigging and making Indian artifacts.

Survivors include a daughter and son: Erica Dishman and husband Tristian, Jeff Wilson and their mother Donna Barnett, all of Campbellsville; a sister: Cherry Murphy and husband Terry; a brother: Scott Wilson and wife Kathy.

Also surviving are three grandchildren: Cory Dishman, Connor Dishman and Meadow Wilson; one great-grandchild: Zyra Dishman; a special friend and co-worker: Robert Priddy and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Randy Thomas Wilson chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.

Barbara Sue Allen of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Fredrick “Freddie” and Dorline (Graham) Thompson, was born April 11, 1962 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 63 years of age.

She made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and spending time with family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Jewell Leon Thompson and Danny Thompson.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter: Paul Allen of Buffalo, Jannifer Fisher and husband Manuel and Danny Allen and wife Jenny all of Campbellsville; five sisters: Mary Gray of Campbellsville, Margaret Embry and Tammy Seal and husband Robert all of Mannsville, Nina Sanders and husband Darrell of Mammoth Cave and Josephine Martinez of Hodgenville.

Also seven grandchildren and a host of step-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The funeral for Barbara Sue Allen will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Interment in the Otter Creek Cemetery

Family requests visitation after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until time for the service.

John Francis Patterson

John Francis Patterson

John Francis Patterson of Campbellsville was born on December 24, 1949, in Flemingsburg, KY, to the late Clarence Clement Patterson and Virginia Lee Gardiner Patterson, and departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 75 years of age.

He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 and was stationed in Panama. John was a graduate of Fleming County High School and received an accounting degree from Morehead State University. After college, he began his career at Taylor County RECC, where he worked as an Office Manager until his retirement. He attended Our Lady of Fatima in Phillipsburg until his health declined. He enjoyed golf, fishing, farming, hunting, and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann Patterson; his daughters, Kim Daulton and her husband Travis of Somerset, Jennifer Beth Trimble and her husband Marty of Richmond, KY, and one son, Tim King and his wife, Kenni; Two stepchildren, Cindy Armes and her husband, Todd of Hardinsburg, KY, and Kevin Munday of Campbellsville. Eight grandchildren, Austin Daulton (Adrienne Dailey), Evan Daulton (Vanna), Benjamin Trimble, William Trimble, Jordan Armes, Ava Armes, Avery Munday, and Brooklynn Loveless; one brother, Joseph Patterson of Decatur, Alabama, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clem Patterson.

There will be a Funeral Mass for John Francis Patterson on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 8680 Calvary Road, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Rev. Fr. Sheejan George will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Raymond Alan Morris

Raymond Alan Morris of Campbellsville, KY, the son of Robert Alan Morris of Campbellsville and the late Pauline (Williams) Morris, was born May 27, 1954, in Jefferson County, KY, and departed this life on Friday, July 25, 2025, at his residence. He was 71 years of age.

He made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Columbia. He loved Jesus and sharing about Him with anyone he met.

Raymond enjoyed music and played many instruments, including the guitar and Native American flutes. He also loved motor cross racing, gardening, hunting, traveling, and was just a passionate person in general with a warm, fun personality that cannot be easily forgotten.

Survivors include his wife, Bunnie (Knight) Morris of Campbellsville; two daughters: Krystal Eddleman and husband Shane of Tennessee, Amber Flinchum and husband Jordan of Campbellsville; a step-daughter: Leah Tucker of Russell Springs; a host of cousins, including Michael Berry and Alan Wheatcroft, and other relatives and many friends.

The funeral service for Raymond Alan Morris will be on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow.

Pastor Brian Hadley will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 1:00 P.M. on Thursday until the time for the service.
