Mr. Robert David Skaggs of Campbellsville was born on April 13, 1932 to the late Robert Earl and Mattie Frances (Matherly) Skaggs. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home, being 84 years, 9 months, and 4 days of age. Mr. Skaggs professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. He was a carpenter and farmer, and found contentment living a simple and honest life. As a young man, he answered the call to duty and served his country honorably in the United States Army. His life of service to others would continue throughout his years, and in 1983, he was recognized and commissioned a Kentucky Colonel.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Two children: Trent Skaggs and wife Dana of Eastview, KY, and Holly Quinn and husband Ricky of Campbellsville,
Two sisters: Helen Brown and Margaret Durham, both of Campbellsville,
Six grandchildren: Brett Skaggs and fiancé Brandie Holt of Campbellsville, Blake McGrew of Eastview, Dylan Skaggs and wife Brittany of Campbellsville, Levi Skaggs of Eastview, Amanda Mackin and husband of Campbellsville, and Alex Quinn and wife Edlynn of Campbellsville,
Six great-grandchildren: Riley Skaggs, Emerson Skaggs, Levi Mackin, Brooke Mackin, Aidan Phillips, and Boston Quinn,
A caring neighbor: Penny Cook,
And a host of other family and close friends.
He was also preceded in death by six siblings: Ruby Miller, J.T. Skaggs, Albert Skaggs, Arlene Milby, Anna Mary Skaggs, and Mabel Sullivan.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Skaggs on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Drew Underwood will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Full military honors will be conducted by the Adair County VFW Post 6097.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 20, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Honor Guard or the Disabled American Veterans. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Mary Ann Bragg Jones was born June 1, 1941 to the late Arvis Hilary and Eva Lawhorn Bragg in Adair County, KY. She passed from this life on Thursday,, January 12, 2016 at the T.J Sampson Hospital in Glasgow, being 75 years, 7 months, and 11 days of age. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Prices Creek Baptist Church. Later in life, she also attended the Elk Horn United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Jones. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Brown, her brother, Titus Bragg, and an infant sister. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also preceded her in death.
Mary Ann is survived by 6 nieces, Barbara Brown of Elizabethtown, Wanda (Kenny) French, Connie Kearney, Lisa (Stephon Lancaster) Fulks all of Campbellsville, Bonnie Underwood of Louisville and Ellen (Rodger) Barker of Arizona, 3 nephews, Raymond (Anita) Brown of Campbellsville, Dale (Theresa) Brown of Humboldt, TN and Gene Bragg of Franklin, KY. She is also survived by her friends at TriGenerations where she attended the day program. The family would also like to thank her caregivers, Cindy Branham and Mary and Gerald Harmon, for their love and generosity.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Jones on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM (1:00 CST ) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Bragg Cemetery in Adair County.
The family requests visitation on Monday, January 16 at the funeral home after 11:00 until time for the service.

Mr. Herbert Otto “Herb” Stein of Louisville was born in New York on December 20, 1942. He departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Louisville at the Franciscan Health Care Center after an extended illness. He was 74 years and 19 days of age. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Maryville Baptist Church. Mr. Stein was a retired restaurant manager, a devoted husband, a loyal friend, and a proud United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
One stepdaughter: Debbie Graham and husband Ricky of Campbellsville,
One stepson: Robert Abell of Campbellsville,
Two brothers: Herman Stein and wife Joan, and Henry Stein and wife Beverly, all of New York,
Four step-grandchildren: Jason Keltner and wife Candace, Derrick Keltner and wife Emily, and Rickie Graham, all of Campbellsville, and Robyn Fox of Las Vegas,
And a host of other family and close friends.
Mr. Stein was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mrs. Betty Jo Stein, and a daughter, Diane Abell-Cobia.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Stein on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jason Keltner will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY. Full military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 11, after 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Mr. Michael Glynn “Mike” McMahan, the son of the late Ernest and Virginia Coakley McMahan, was born April 29, 1953 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home. He was 63 years of age.
He was a former electrician and was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Sharon.
Survivors include: two daughters: Karis McMahan and Lindsey McMahan both of Campbellsville; two brothers: Richard McMahan of Campbellsville and Steve McMahan and wife Nancy of Carrollton; a sister: Karen Eggert and husband Steve of Virginia; two grandchildren: Aidan McMahan and Dalton Reynolds and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service will be held in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Rites by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
There will be no visitation.
L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville in charge of arrangements.

Donnie Royce Milby, Jr, of Campbellsville, the son of Donnie Royce Sr and Linda Lee Terry Milby, was born August 26, 1968 in Louisville and departed this life in Campbellsville.
He was a sign maker and installer for Advance Sign in Campbellsville and attended the God’s Friendship Church in Campbellsville.
Besides his parents he is survived by a son and two daughters: Donnie Milby III, Tesla Milby and Carson Gravel all of Campbellsville.
A brother: Bryant Milby of Campbellsville; two sisters: Penny Vincent of Louisville and Candy Milby of Campbellsville; his companion: Erica Blaydes Gravel of Campbellsville; three nieces: Crissy Brunson, Stacey Spencer and Bryanna Milby; two nephews: Roger Vincent, Jr and Scott Milby and a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Donnie Milby, Jr will be conducted Sunday at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Bro. John Stilts officiating.
Family requests visitation after 4:30 P.M. on Sunday until time for the service.
