Brenda Ann Crew Wethington, the daughter of Adrian Crew of Russell Springs and the late Helen Hall Crew, was born Saturday, October 2, 1965 in Russell County and departed this life on Friday in Campbellsville. She was 51 years, 5 months and 22 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and a homemaker.
Brenda enjoyed swimming, playing games of horseshoe, music and nature, but best of all playing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her father, she is survived by four daughters: Casey Douglas, Korey Hines, Latasha Walker and Adrian Lee Crew all of Campbellsville and Sunshine Statham of Casey County; six brothers and sisters: Rita Hale, James Robert Hale and wife Kay, Vicky Wade, William Hale and Sue Hale all of Casey County and Holly Price and husband Bobby of Dunnville; her companion: Wayne Mikel of Campbellsville.
Nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral service for Brenda Ann Crew Wethington will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Fair Cemetery in Liberty.
Visitation after 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Family requests that memorials be in the form of a donation to the funeral expense fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. Harold Adren Alvord, the son of the late Harold Fred and Inez Young Alvord, was born Monday, June 22, 1953 in Dansbury, NY and departed this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Campbellsville at the home of his brother. He was 63 years of age.
He was of the Christian Faith and was a former factory worker.
Survivors include four brothers: Samuel P. Alvord and wife Elaine of Campbellsville, Daniel T. Alvord and wife Karen of Texas, Phillip Alvord and wife Virginia and Peter Alvord both of New York; three sisters: Naomi Ruth Beal of Illinois, Ester Jackson and Mary Donna Googins both of Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Alvord was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jack and John Alvord.
A graveside service for Mr. Alvord will be conducted in Illinois at the Smith Cemetery.

Kathy Marlene Pittman Hearon, the daughter of Mitchell Shreve and Lila Clements Rogers was born Monday, June 22, 1959 in Casey County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Lebanon at the Springview Hospital. She was 57 years, 8 months and 25 days of age.
She was of the Baptist Faith and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, a former nurse and former General Manager for Sonic in Campbellsville.
Kathy loved reading, the Bible was her favorite, she enjoyed watching old movies and her pride and joy was playing with her grandbabies.
She united in marriage to Donnie Pittman who preceded her in death. She later united in marriage to Larry Hearon, whom also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her parents: Mitchell Shreve his wife Sandra of Campbellsville and Lila Clements Rodgers of Casey County; her children: Samantha and Josh Esarey, Tabitha and Brandon Curry and Donovan and Morgan Pittman, all of Campbellsville; a brother: Jimmy Shreve and wife Vanessa of Campbellsville.
Also surviving are twelve grandchildren: AJ, James, Jacob, Savannah, Katherine and Samara Lane, Emma and Isabella Esarey, Karyzmah Pittman, Klayton Curry, Kaleb Curry and Kennedy Pittman; one great-grandchild: Gannon Lane; her close friend: Charlene Muncie of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by two brothers: Mike and Marcus Shreve.
The funeral service for Kathy Marlene Pittman Hearon will be conducted Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery at Bradfordsville. Bro. Jeff Edwards will be officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the funeral expense fund and can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. James “Big Foot” McNear of Campbellsville was born on July 9, 1947 in Louisville to Flossie (Keith) Warren and the late Bernard McNear. He departed this life on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville after an illness. He was 69 years, 8 months, and 3 days of age. Mr. McNear professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former truck driver and CB and HAM radio operator and loved talking to and meeting new people. It was not by accident that he was always on the Confederate side during Civil War renenactments, either.
Mr. McNear leaves to cherish his memory:
Three children: John McNear and wife Nikki of Colorado, Ray McNear of LaGrange, and Greg McNear of Campbellsville,
His mother: Flossie Warren and husband Herman of Campbellsville,
Six brothers and sisters: Leon Warren and wife Theresa, Brenda Roberts and husband Keith, and Linda Riley and husband Steve, all of Louisville, Gayle Cox and husband Stevie, Carolyn Thompson and husband Billy, and Roger Warren, all of Campbellsville,
Four grandchildren,
His fiancée: Vickie Young of Campbellsville,
And a host of other friends and family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM EST. At the request of Mr. McNear, there will be no formal funeral service. A private interment service will be conducted at a later date.

Mrs. Norma Faye Newton of Campbellsville was born on August 17, 1950 in Lebanon to the late Clayton and Imogene (Proffitt) Yates. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Springview Hospital in Lebanon after an extended illness being 66 years, 6 months, and 25 days of age. Mrs. Newton professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. She was a former dental assistant and wife of Tommy Jack Newton, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
One daughter: Michelle Fisher and fiancé Jeff Clark of Campbellsville,
Two sisters: Jewell Murray and husband Lindsey of Georgetown, and Sherry Cecil and husband Greg of Franklin,
One brother: Phillip Yates and wife Chris of Campbellsville,
Two grandchildren: Madison Fisher and Kara Fisher,
And a host of other family and close friends.
There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Newton on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Ray Roberts will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 18, after 10:30 AM until time for the service.
