Mrs. Judy Carolyn (Shofner) Hunt of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. Born on May 22, 1959 to Helen (Griffin) Shofner and the late James L. Shofner, she was 57 years and 9 months of age at the time of her passing. Mrs. Hunt professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of the Stoner Creek Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, a former store clerk and manager, a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished and proud grandmother.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
Her husband: Doug Hunt of Campbellsville,
Three children: Jacklyn York, Chryslee York and fiancé Todd Spurling, and Jeremy Read and companion Jami Jones, all of Campbellsville,
Five grandchildren: Kirsten Thomas, Emma York, Parker York, Madison Read, and Corey Spurling,
And a host of other family and close friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne York in 1985, and a grandchild, Riley York.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hunt on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. John Hall will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, W. Main St, Campbellsville, KY.

Mr. Gordon Wesley Mann of Campbellsville was born to the late John Marion and Irene (Reidle) Mann in Taylor County on May 18, 1937. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville after a sudden illness. He was 79 years, 9 months, and 3 days of age. Mr. Mann was a 20+ year employee of the Fruit of the Loom plant and was the owner and operator of Mann’s Satellite. He professed faith in Christ and attended the Spurlington United Methodist Church, and daily witnessed of his faith through his actions.
He leaves to carry his legacy:
His wife: Lorena (Rodgers) Mann of Campbellsville,
Three children: Wesley Mann of Campbellsville, Randall Mann of Campbellsville, and Kimberly Mann Rambo and husband Robert of Indiana,
Seven grandchildren: Chris Mann, Shannon Mann, Cody Mann, Nathan Mann, Dana Mann, Shawn Mann, and Chloe Bennett,
Fifteen great-grandchildren,
And a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Lynn Mann; five siblings, Rod Mann and Pauline Mardis, and three in infancy; and three grandchildren, Phillip Mann, Josh Rambo, and Zach Rambo.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Mann on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Paul J. Dicken and Bro. Robert Morris will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 24, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Hilda Faye Parker of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Campbellsville, passed away peacefully from this world into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was a saved child of God and a faithful member of Little River Fellowship of Maryville, TN.
She is preceded in death by her infant twin sons, Bobby Dale and Robby Dean Parker; her parents, Vertie and Annie White of Campbellsville, KY; brothers, Guy Gene White of Campbellsville, KY and James “Roundy” White of Elkhorn, KY.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Billy D. Parker of Maryville, TN; son, Byran Brad Parker and wife Tonda of Walland, TN; daughter, Brandi Fay Parker of Charlotte, NC; and Wendi Kay Howell and husband Daniel of Maryville, TN. She leaves 7 grandchildren: Jonathan Bledsoe and wife, Megan; Whitney Parker, Daniel Parker, Hannah Parker, Daniel “D.J.” Howell, Alexis Howell, and Porsha Howell; and 1 great grandchild, Ryleigh Bledsoe; all of Maryville, TN. She also leaves behind many 7 siblings: sister, Audrey Jones of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Nelda Berry and husband James of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Ola Davis of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Carol Davis and husband Larry of Elkhorn, KY; brother, Harold White and wife Susan of Elkhorn, KY; sister, Arlene Hunt and husband, Tommy of Campbellsville, KY; and sister Judy Bright and husband Alvin of Campbellsville, KY.
Hilda was a beautiful, kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She loved God, and she loved her church. She was an amazing seamstress, who could sew and alter anything given to her. She most enjoyed spending one-on-one time with each of her grandchildren-making crafts, telling stories, and listening to anything they shared with her. They gave her so much joy.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Elkhorn Cemetery where she will be laid be laid to rest beside her beloved twin sons.
The family requests visitation from 6-8 PM on Wednesday in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Mrs. Mary Patricia “Pat’ Sullivan of Campbellsville was born in Adair County on June 21, 1937 and departed this life on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. She was 79 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age. As a child, she was raised and loved by her late mother and grandfather, Lottie Mae Jones and Sam White. Mrs. Sullivan professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Feathersburg First Church of God. She married Rodney Sullivan on December 3, 1955, and they shared their lives until his passing in 1993. She was employed at the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville prior to its closure. Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed cooking and was an exceptional baker, but she especially loved game nights with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Three children: Karen Benningfield and husband Roger, and Keith Sullivan and wife Marylyn, all of Elk Horn, and Jeannie Thompson and husband Randy of Indiana,
Five grandchildren: Jessica Sheffield, Danielle Farmer, Jeremy Mings, Jonathan Cox, and Jordan Cox,
Three great-grandchildren: Jadyn Lisenby, Addie Farmer, and Will Farmer,
One sister: Shirley Key and husband A.D. of Lebanon, TN,
A special long-time friend: Linda Wethington of Campbellsville,
And a host of extended family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Halsam.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Sullivan on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Josh Wilson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Acton, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 19, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.

Mrs. Elizabeth Sue King of Campbellsville left this world for her eternal home on Tuesday, February 15, 2017. Born on February 23, 1945 to the late William Dewey and Ina Emiline (Kilby) Whited, she was 71 years, 11 months, and 23 days of age. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. Mrs. King retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant after 36 years of service, and as a CNA from Taylor County Hospital. A generous woman with a tender heart, she often shared her talents as a pianist with several area churches.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Four children: Anna Gabehart and husband Pete of Knifley, Ricky King of Knifley, David King of Elk Horn, and Rebecca Beard and husband Robert of Knifley,
Eleven grandchildren,
Numerous foster grandchildren,
Several great-grandchildren,
And a host of extended family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell King in 2007, and four siblings, James Whited and Samuel Whited in infancy, and Annie Mae Despain and Helen Rafferty.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. King on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Evan Tedder, Bro. Ronnie Dooley, and Bro. David Wray will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Chappel Cemetery, Highway 76, Knifley, KY 42753.
