Mr. Jackie Andrew Perkins, Sr. was born on Monday, November 17, 1947 in Taylor County to the late Elmer Lewis and Ethel (Poff) Perkins. He departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 68 years, 3 months, and 8 days of age. Mr. Perkins was a carpenter and woodworker most of his life, and had a knack for being able to fix whatever he set his mind to. He was the lifetime companion and husband to Mrs. Ruth Elaine Perkins, who survives.
Besides his wife, he also leaves behind:
Three sons: Jackie Andrew Perkins, Jr. and wife Teresa of New Haven, Randy Perkins of Campbellsville, and Barry Perkins and wife Melissa, also of Campbellsville,
Four brothers and one sister: Perline Humpress and husband Harold Lee of Casey Creek, Gordon Perkins and wife Sue of Elkhorn, Tommy Perkins and wife Marsha of Fairdale, Bobby Perkins and wife Linda of Knifley, and Terry Perkins and wife Stacey of Russell Springs,
A sister-in-law: Judy Perkins of Knifley,
Nine grandchildren,
Two great-grandchildren,
Special friends: Raymond and Bunny Morris, Johnny and Diane Amburgey, Timmy Davis, Bob and Gail Sponhour, and Rick and Ellen Corum,
And a host of extended family and close friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Perkins.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Perkins on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 28, after 5:00 PM EST.

Mrs. Linda L. Richerson of Larue County, formerly of Campbellsville, was born on December 4, 1945 in Cook County, Illinois to the late George and Alberta (Nox) Sheets. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was 70 years, 2 months, and 19 days of age. Mrs. Richerson professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. She was the bookkeeper for Glasscock Body Shop for several years, and was a CNA and an at-home caregiver. She was a member of the Twilight Twirlers, a square dance troupe, and the Campbellsville Emmaus. She loved to watch a Disney movie and spend time with her family, playing bingo, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats. Her serious side came out only during Monopoly matches or card games; she was always competitive and hard to beat. She found relaxation in computer games and gardening, along with several other hobbies.
Mrs. Richerson leaves to cherish her memory:
Two sons and one daughter: Bryan Richerson and wife Carol of Campbellsville, Tim Richerson of Allenwood, Pennsylvania, and Cheryl Richerson Alabusalim and husband Mohammed of Campbellsville,
Nine grandchildren: Chase Richerson and wife Miranda, Zachery Richerson, Ashley Merz and husband Chris, Jaelyn Richerson and fiance Braxton Woorley, April Pickett and husband Nick, Caleb Richerson, Hassan Alabusalim, Fatimah Alabusalim, and Hadey Alabusalim,
Three great-grandchildren: Emelyn Richerson, Breck Pickett, Braelynn Woorley,
One sister: Sandy Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada,
A special friend, Leroy Daughtery,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Richerson on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Larry Frisby will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
At Mrs. Richerson’s request, cremation rites will be accorded her after the service.

Mrs. Doris Adelle (Milby) Keltner was born in Green County on August 1, 1934 to the late Harold and Rosie (Elmore) Milby. She peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the home of her son surrounded by a large number of her closest friends and family. She was 81 years, 6 months, and 16 days of age. Mrs. Keltner professed faith in Christ and attended God’s Grace Church. The matriarch of a large, well-respected family, Mrs. Keltner was a full-time homemaker. It came natural for her to always keep her house neat and tidy, and to be ever ready to share some of her best cooking with her family and friends. She enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with puzzles and games, and especially enjoyed a friendly game of Rook. Her handmade quilts will be treasured for generations.
She leaves to carry her legacy:
Four children: Jerry Keltner and wife Shona of Hope, Indiana, Terry Keltner and wife Kathy of Campbellsville, Patty Stanfield and husband Ernie of Nicholasville, and Doris Osborne and husband Rick of Campbellsville,
Four siblings: Holland Milby and wife Patty, Mike Milby, Sue Southern and husband James, and Sharon Sharp and husband Randall, all of Campbellsville,
16 grandchildren,
43 great-grandchildren,
5 great-great grandchildren,
Several nieces and nephews,
Her friends at Jackson Towers,
And a host of other extended family and close friends.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Keltner was preceded in death by three husbands and one daughter, Brenda Marcum.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Keltner on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The eulogy will be delivered by her grandsons, Bro. Jason Keltner and Bro. Tyler Ratner. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 19, after 4:00 PM EST.

Mrs. Genia Fay Sherrill of Campbellsville was born on Friday, April 7, 1961 in Glasgow to Mrs. Vernice Fay Carnes and the late Mr. Simon Day Akin. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her home in Campbellsville after an extended battle with cancer. She was 54 years, 10 months, and 9 days of age. Mrs. Sherrill professed faith in Christ and attended God’s Grace Church. She was a former foodservice employee and worked in several restaurants throughout her life.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by two step-fathers, Thomas Ervine Sprowles and Clifford I. Carnes, three step-brothers, Ronald D. Carnes, Gary Carnes, and Jimmy Sprowles, and a step-sister, Darlene Decker.

Mrs. Frances Romine Gilpin, the daughter of the late Waller and Laura Shofner, was born April 18, 1935 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 80 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the True Ways Ministry in Campbellsville. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and was a homemaker. Her hobbies was watching and cheering on the Louisville Cardinals Basketball Team, watching NASCAR, loved gardening and canning her vegetables and most of all she loved her family and church family.
She united in marriage to James L. Gilpin, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Monroe and Roosevelt Shofner.
Survivors include a daughter and son: Vickie Gilpin of Elizabethtown and Herbie Gilpin of Campbellsville; her “second” daughter and close friend: Debbie Sinclair of Elizabethtown.
Also nine siblings: Viola (Joe) Watson, Kaye (Jim) Hatcher, Donnie (Carolyn) Shofner and Jane (Bob) Milby all of Campbellsville, Nevon (George) Wolf of Virginia, Gail (Robert) Moravec of Texas and Tama (Pat) Dixon of Owensboro, Scotty Shofner of Tennessee and Dean (Patricia) Shofner of Lexington and sister-in-law: Peggy Shofner of Campbellsville.
Four grandchildren: Sara Gilpin Mardis, Melanie Gilpin and Waynaria Sinclair, all of Elizabethtown and Andrew Gilpin of Richmond and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The funeral for Mrs. Frances Romine Gilpin will be conducted Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Bro. Randy Buckles will be officiating.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
