Mrs. Mary Marie Budd passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Budd was the daughter of the late Clinton and Ella (Halbert) Payne. When she wasn’t painting and crafting, Mrs. Budd loved to be outside where she could breathe fresh air and watch her hummingbirds. She had united in marriage to Wilfred P. Budd, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by:
Two daughters – Karen Metz and husband John, of Greensburg, and Camille Craig and husband Mike of Nevada,
Five siblings – Ellen Kirk of Ohio, Louise Bolland of California, John Payne of Ohio, Joe Payne of Virginia, and Dave Payne of California,
Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Budd was preceded in death by:
Her husband – Wilfred P. Budd,
Her parents – Clinton and Ella Payne,
One sister – Alice Thompson.
Cremation was chosen and memorial services for Mrs. Marie Budd will be private.

Mr. Clifton G. “Big Chief” Aaron, age 86, passed away early Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Campbellsville at his home.
Survivors include his wife: Peggy D. Mann Aaron of Campbellsville.
A son: Kyle Aaron of Campbellsville.
A brother-in-law: Dean Mann and his wife Treva of Russell Springs, KY, a sister-in-law: Carol Wilson and husband Hearl of Brooks, KY.
A very special family friend: Denise Moore of Campbellsville.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, August 31, 2013
At 11:00 A.M. at the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Maureen (Ward) Wade, age 67, of Campbellsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. Mrs. Wade was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Margaret (Major) Ward. She united in marriage to Orlando “Buck” Stamper who preceded her in death in 1979. Later, she united in marriage to Joseph “Rufus” Wade, who survives.
Besides her husband, Rufus Wade, she is survived by:
Four children – Michael L. Stamper of Radcliff, KY, Orlando Stamper, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, KY, Angela S. Brito of Wichita, KS, and Annette Webb of Milford, DE
Three sisters – Nancy McGlothin of Raton, NM, Judy Ward of New Haven, KY, and Michelle Roten of Roswell, GA
Six grandchildren,
And a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Ward, and one grandchild, Noah Stamper.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 22, at the LR Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville, KY, at 6:00 EST, with the family receiving visitors after 5:00 EST. Bro. Ray Judd will be officiating.

Mr. Colman Brown passed away on August 9, 2013, in Campbellsville at the age of 94, surrounded by his family and friends. He was a life-long farmer and a devoted husband of 73 years to Helen Brown. He had professed faith in Christ, and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, Helen (Skaggs) Brown, he is survived by:
One son – Ronnie Brown and his companion, Regina McDonald of Taylor County
One sister – Marie Maness of Gainesville, GA
Three grandchildren – Marcia Underwood, and her husband Mickey, of Campbellsville, Bobby Brown of Campbellsville, and Troy Brown of Lexington
Three great-grandchildren – Josh Brown, Bryson Skaggs, and Kaylee Brown
One great-great-granddaughter – Joss Scout Brown
and a host of other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ollie (Milby) Brown, a daughter, Brenda Beams, an infant son, Robert Wesley Brown, and three sisters, Dorothy Colvin, Louise Shuffett, and Lillian Hedgespeth.
Visitation for Mr. Colman Brown will be held at the LR Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville on Saturday, August 10, from 5:00-8:00 EST, and on Sunday, August 11, from 8:00-1:00 EST.
There will be a graveside service at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens on Sunday, August 11, at 2:00 PM EST with Bro. Otis Skaggs officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Gideon Bibles or the Taylor County FFA, and may be made in person or at the funeral home.
