Mr. Brian David Cox of Campbellsville, the son of Kirby Cox and Anna Sue (Cable) Wheatley, was born April 6, 1972 in Campbellsville. He departed this life on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Louisville at the Norton Inpatient Care Pavilion. He was 52 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Elk Horn Baptist Church. Mr. Cox was a construction worker before becoming disabled. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his parents: Kirby and Martha Cox, and Anna Sue and Cleve Wheatley, all of Campbellsville,
A brother: John Alan Cox and wife Beth; step brothers and sisters: Johnathan Wheatley and wife Kasea, Alana Smith and husband Wes, Julie Kessler and husband John, Brian Woodrum and wife Vanessa and Mark Woodrum and wife Kirsten, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Brian David Cox will be Monday, July 1, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family requests visitation after 10:00 A.M. Monday until time for the service.
Memorials are suggested to the Hosparus Care Center at Norton’s. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Brenda Sue Underwood of Elk Horn, KY, the daughter of Ruby Graybeal Hixson and the late Ronald Hixon was born on August 13, 1950, in Cincinnati, OH, and departed this life Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her residence. She was 73 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a devoted housewife. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved decorating homes and weddings. She was a former employee of J.C. Penney.
She is survived by her loving husband Michael Underwood of Elk Horn, and one daughter: Stephanie Conn, and husband Joey of Columbia. A son-in-law, Shawn Murray of Greensburg, and four grandchildren: Dylan Conn, Dawson Conn, Dax Conn, and Casen Murray.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Cathy Murray, and one grandson: Dane Conn
There will be a funeral service for Brenda Sue Underwood on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. EST at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
Bro. Randall Underwood will officiate.
The family has requested visitation on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Ilda Kathryn Douglas of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Joseph Walter Gabehart and Mary Ina Browning Gabehart was born on August 25, 1934, in Marion County and departed this life Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Campbellsville. She was 89 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. She was retired from General Telephone Company. She enjoyed crocheting, quilts, gardening, puzzles, and going to the beach.
She had united in marriage to Melvyn Douglas and he preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Billy Joe Douglas and wife Sheila of Campbellsville. One granddaughter: Brooke Gupton and husband Josh of Greensburg, along with one great-granddaughter: Lexi Gupton.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Ivy Fowler.
There will be a private graveside service for Ilda Kathryn Douglas on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville.
Bro. Rodney Booe will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to be in the form of donations to the Campbellsville University Presidents Scholarship Fund.

Lisa Marie Walls of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of Roy James Newton and the late Josephine Garrett Newton was born on February 13, 1971, and departed this life Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Campbellsville. She was 53 years of age.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She attended the South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: James Dennis Walls and Christopher Jessie Walls (Raimi), and a stepson: Chase Brewer all of Campbellsville. Two sisters: Kathy Pittman and Elizabeth Newton (Nikki) both of Campbellsville. Five grandchildren: Justin Walls, Lottie Walls, Josie Walls, Ariel Brewer, and Aurora Brewer along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
Also surviving is her long-time companion, Daniel Lotter of Campbellsville.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother: Leroy Newton.
There will be a funeral service for Lisa Marie Walls on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel 1765 New Columbia Rd. in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Tallow Creek Cemetery.
Bro John Nguyen will officiate.
The family requested visitation on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Wanda Faye Tungate of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Paul Brown and Marie Mason, was born on December 3, 1944, in Bradfordsville, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in Campbellsville. She was 79 years of age.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker and caretaker. She enjoyed coloring, fishing, watching television, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by eight children: Jimmy Tungate(Jane), Tassie Seals (Robert), Elizabeth Tungate (Jeremy), Kathy Tungate, Robert Arnold Tungate, James Clarkson (Wendy), Michelle Tungate (James), and Breanna Tungate all of Campbellsville along with 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers: Roy Newton and Paul Ray Brown both of Campbellsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Harrison Tungate, and a grandson: Jimmy James Tungate, three sisters: Anna Faye Mason, Jeriann Hafley, and Mary Reardon, and a brother: Tudor Newton.
There will be a funeral service for Wanda Faye Tungate on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
