James “Jim” Paul Bradford of Lawrenceburg, TN, the son of the late James Paul Bradford and Mildred Ethel Shuman Bradford, was born November 29, 1956 in Marion, IN and departed this life on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Maury Regional Health Center in Columbia, TN. He was 66 years of age.
He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, NC. He enjoyed hiking and being outdoors, a member of the Colorado Mountain Club and was a Chevalier with Demolay International. He was employed as a histotechnologist having received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Indiana Wesleyan University.
He is survived by one daughter: Erin Bradford Fisher (Thomas) of Ruther, Glen, VA. One sister: Roberta Mensik (Ray) of Campbellsville. One sister-in-law: Kate Niverson of Marion, IN. Two grandchildren: Cameron Duncan Fisher and Levi James Fisher. One nephew; Terry Niverson and a great niece: Stephanie Niverson.
There will be a funeral service for James “Jim” Paul Bradford on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Campbellsville Christian Church.
Bro. Caleb Buddemeyer will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to the American Heart Association.

Edwin Clifton Roy of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Carlie C. and Nancy Lucille Holmes Roy, was born January 13, 1949 in Somerset, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Campbellsville, KY. He was 74 years of age and enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by one brother and one sister: Glen Roy and Brenda Milby both of Campbellsville.
Three nieces: Ashley Gabehart, Amanda Gabehart and fiancé Darius Clement, and Lori Roy, and a host of great nieces and nephews. One special friend: Leonard Dicken of Campbellsville.
There will be a graveside service for Edwin Clifton Roy, September 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. CDT / 3:00 P.M. EDT at the Haven Hill Cemetery. Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.

David “Davis” Fisher, of Bradfordsville, the son of the late Herman and Elizabeth (Simpson) Fisher, was born February 15, 1948 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. He was 75 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Arbuckle Baptist Church and was a farmer.
Davis, as he was mostly known by enjoyed his animals, fishing, hunting, digging ginseng, water skiing, playing checker and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sisters and three brothers: Mary Garrett and husband Buddy, Melvin Fisher and wife Malissa, Ethel Smothers and husband Charles, William Fisher and wife Julie and Daniel Fisher.
Also twelve nieces and nephews: Nancy Tungate, Curtis Garrett and wife Lisa, Amanda Tucker and husband Justin, Regina Young and husband Jason, Darlene House, Stephen Fisher and wife Shelia, Todd Smothers wife April, Timmy Fisher, Kevin Fisher and wife Megan, Jessica Cox, Austin Fisher and George Fisher and a host of great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Lonnie Joseph Fisher as an infant.
The funeral service for David “Davis” Fisher will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery at Bradfordsville.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Tuesday and after 8:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Betty Jean Acree of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Columbus Gordon and Imogene (Wright) Boils, peacefully entered eternity on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at her home. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Born on May 14, 1950, Mrs. Acree was 73 years of age at the time of her passing. She was water baptized in Jesus’ name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16, and daily carried that joy with her for the remainder of her earthly time. Mrs. Acree had retired from the Taylor County School District as the cafeteria manager of Taylor County High School. She was also a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. Full of spiritual wisdom, she gladly and regularly passed Godly knowledge to all she came in contact with.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Two children: Tim Acree and wife Keshia of Bardstown, and Tracey Grady and husband Stephen of Campbellsville,
Six grandchildren: Seth Acree, Hannah Acree, Micah Acree, Luke Acree, Kadyn Grady, and Bailor Grady,
Nine siblings: Ralph and Dana Boils of Tennessee, Shirley and Tommy Lovins of Indiana, and Rueal and Louise Boils, Donnie and Carolyn Boils, Frank and Kay Boils, David and Ellen Boils, Danny and Lori Boils, and Gillis and Barbara Boils, all of Campbellsville, and Shelia Youmans of Georgia,
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Acree, a brother, Charlie Wayne Boils, and a brother-in-law, Charles Youmans.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Acree on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM EDT (10:00 AM CDT) in the sanctuary of the Truth Tabernacle UPCI, 4607 Old Lebanon Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Pastor Tim Acree will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jesus Name Church Cemetery, Tabernacle Rd, Campbellsville.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, September 8, from 5:00-8:00 PM EDT (4:00-7:00 PM CDT), and on Saturday after 9:00 AM EST until time for the service.

Renee Sylvester, of Knifley, the daughter of Cathleen (Estrella) Sylvester of Florida and the late Donald Sylvester, was born February 15, 1965 in Orange, New Jersey and departed this life on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her home. She was 58 years of age.
She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.
Renee enjoyed cooking, painting and other artistic crafts and spending time with family.
Besides her mother, she is survived by three sons: Garrett Sylvester and wife Emma of Monticello, Richard Burress and wife Erika of Campbellsville and Chaz Burress and wife Brandy of Columbia; her companion of thirty seven years: Doug Burress of Knifley.
Also a sister: Donna Listort of Florida; five grandchildren: Ethan and Alyssa Sylvester and Harper, Hayden and Miles Burress and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Tina Sylvester.
Services will be held privately.
There will be no visitation
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville in charge of arrangements.
