Dorothy H. Wright Dewitt, of Greensburg, the daughter of the late Roy Bell and Mae Bennett Bell, was born October 23, 1935, in Campbellsville, KY, and departed this life on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg. She was 88 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. She enjoyed watching television, gardening, working in the yard, and playing with her dogs.
Survivors include four children: Donna Bishop of Greensburg, Paul Wright (Linda) of Hodgenville, Nathan Dewitt (Nancy), and Norman Dewitt and companion Melinda Cox all of Campbellsville.
Four grandchildren: Rebecca Bennett, Bob Bishop, Misty Wright, and Scott (Kim) Wright. Six great-grandchildren: Blake Chaudoin, Katie Chaudoin, Allen Murphy, Faith Wright, Caroline Wright, and Tyler Wright.
Also surviving is one sister: Jane Underwood of Campbellsville along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanley Dewitt, One brother and sister-in-law: Roy and Carolene Bell, and a brother-in-law: Chandler Underwood.
There will be a funeral service for Dorothy H. Wright Dewitt at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 21, 2024, in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Joe Whitlock and Bro. Jimmy York will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to Gideon Bibles or the funeral expense fund and can be made at the funeral home.

Bobby Dean Cox, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Willard “Hoogie” Cox and Hallie (Rash) Ratcliff, was born September 19, 1950, in Casey County, KY, and departed this life on Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 73 years of age.
He was a contract brick layer and was of the Baptist faith.
Bobby enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Ricky Cox; two brothers: Robert Don Cox and James “Pill” Cox; a sister: Gay Reed; and a step-granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife: Evelyn (Garrett) Cox; a son: Bobby Dean Cox, Jr of Miami, Florida; a step-son: Raymond “Buzzy” Simpson and wife Chasity of Summersville.
Also a brother: Paul Cox and wife Cedell of Shepherdsville; two half-brothers: James Cox and wife Amanda of Nancy, KY, and Junior Ratcliff of Greensburg; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special friend: Chad Rooker; two sisters-in-law: Margaret Cox and Connie Gribbins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Bobby Dean Cox will be Friday, January 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Tallow Creek Cemetery.
Bro. Roger Bland will be officiating.
The family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time for the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Junior Ratcliff, Raymond Simpson, Justin Simpson, Chad Rooker, April Cox, and Roy Newton.

Danny Wayne Vanover, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Lillian Mullins Vanover, was born October 13, 1952 in Seco, KY and departed this life on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 71 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army as a First Sergeant, serving with Military Police, and as a recruiter. He was a patriot and proud of his 25 plus years of service. He was a former employee of Preferred Mobile Homes in Campbellsville and also in sales at Don Franklin Auto. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and his dog, Hunter. He loved God and family and was a storyteller.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Payton Vanover, his two daughters: Tracy Vanover and Ashley Vanover. Two grandchildren: McKenzie Lile and fiancé Nate, and Zackary Lile. One great-grandson: Hudson Wayne Mitchell. One sister: Vicky Parrot (Silas) of Jenkins.
Also surviving are one Sister-in-law: Regina Vanover of Seco, one Brother–in-law: Dallas Payton (Melissa) of Campbellsville. A Niece, Hillary Roberts and a host of other extended family and friends.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother Tommy Vanover.
There will be a funeral service for Danny Wayne Vanover at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2024 in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Langlois will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
The family requests visitation on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. until time of the service.

Danny Lewis Hunt, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Charles E. Hunt and Frances Fawcett Hunt, was born July 27, 1961 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Louisville. He was 62 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the United States Navy. He was an electronic technician and was an installer of security systems and cameras in businesses and automobiles.
He is survived by one brother and one sister: Charles Douglas Hunt and wife Roxie of Glasgow, and Debbie Oliver and husband David of Bardstown along with a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Danny Lewis Hunt on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.

Mr. Arthur Virgil Esarey of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born in Louisville on July 17, 1980, he was 43 years of age. He was a 1999 graduate of Campbellsville High School and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Esarey loved to fish and was an avid University of Louisville and Baltimore Ravens fan. He eagerly looked forward to Thanksgiving dinner cooked by his Aunt Mary. He always made sure to tell his friends “Love you brother”. His genuine kind and gentle spirit will be long remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Two aunts: Carmella Esarey (Sherri Davis) and Mary Ann Esarey,
Cousins: Joshua “EZ” Esarey (Samantha) and Jonathon Daniel Esarey,
A great aunt: Darlene Crone (Skip),
And a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Ellen Esarey, two uncles, Dale Esarey and Michael Esarey, and his great-grandmother, Doris Esarey Perkins.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Esarey on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
Dustin Pendleton and Conley Pendleton will officiate.
Cremation will be accorded him following the service.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 13, after 11:00 AM until the time for the service.
