Stephen Walter Noel of Campbellsville, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence. Born in Casey County, KY on November 3, 1946 to the late Charles Shelby Noel and Josephine Hayes Noel, he was 76 years, 3 months, and 24 days of age. He trusted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 14 and was called to preach as a young man. He attended Midwestern Baptist College in preparation for ministry. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He loved his wife and family, but he loved the Lord most of all.
Mr. Noel served his country honorably in the United Sates Army. He was a Baptist preacher and missionary. He loved woodworking, photography, was a former pilot, an avid reader and a jack of all trades.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Dollie Barlow Noel, having united in marriage May 7, 1966. Four children: Stephen Dewayne Noel and wife Deanna, Audrey Grant, Myra Johnson and husband Robert, and Sandra Noel.
Fourteen grandchildren: Benjamin Noel, Jesse Noel, Hollie Youngblood, Shelby Noel, Virginia Noel, Victoria McGee, William Noel, Mathew Grant, Joanna Grant, Andrew Grant, Naomi Baldock, Abigail Noel, Hannah Noel, and Joy Noel
Ten Great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Youngblood, Tyrel Noel, Elliott Youngblood, Esther Youngblood, Beaumont McGee, Khaleesi Moesh, Curtis Moesh, Callan Grant, Wyatt Rohn and Cole Rohn.
Four sisters and one brother: Cynthia Cox, Catherine York, Stanley Noel, Sonja Brockman, and Regina Wethington.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Ray Noel, Russell Noel, Brett Noel and one Son-in-law, James Grant.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Steve Noel on Thursday March 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bible Baptist Tabernacle, 50 Bambi Drive Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Mr. George L. Barnett of Campbellsville, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, February 22, 2023 at the St. Matthews Care Center in Louisville. Born on December 29, 1948 to the late Dutch Barnett and Ollie Hardin Barnett, he was 74 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Barnett served his country honorably in the United Sates Army having served in Vietnam. He loved eating a good meal and relaxing watching television.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His niece: Debbie Claywell of Campbellsville, three great-nephews: Shannon Claywell of Munfordville, Brandon Claywell and Shawn Claywell both of Campbellsville. One great-great niece, who he loved dearly, Braysen Claywell and one great-great nephew Briggs Claywell.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond “Shorty” Barnett and Gilbert Barnett, and his companion of 30 plus years, Carolyn Burnett, and a host of extended family members and friends.
The family has chosen cremation and all services will be private.

Dr. Darryl Scott Dillery of Campbellsville, formerly of Albion, Michigan, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his home. Born on May 4, 1961 to Dean George and the late Martha Jean (Adams) Dillery, he was 61 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. “Dr. D”, as he was affectionately known, was an educator by trade; he had earned doctorate from the University of Kentucky and was currently employed as a math professor at Lindsey Wilson College. He had also served as a visiting professor at the Air Force Academy. He valued the relationships he forged with his all of students, and was a lifelong encouragement to many of them in return. He was a proud supporter of the Lindsey Wilson Swim Team, an avid canoer, and widely recognized by his beloved and brightly colored shirts.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

Three children: Megan Dillery Duff and husband Stephen of Lexington, Laura Christine Dillery of Campbellsville, and Melissa Grace Darnell and husband Colin of Louisville,
Three siblings: Kirk Dillery and wife Robin of Battle Creek, Michigan, Daniel Dillery and wife Barbara of West Melbourne, Florida, and Leslie Shaw of Michigan,
Three grandchildren: Andrew Scott Perkins, Edison Duff, and Oscar Duff,
And a host of extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church, 317 E. Main St., Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, Feb. 26, after 1:00 PM until time for the service.

Carol Morris, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Ruby (Thompson) Miller, was born June 3, 1943 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at her residence. She was 79 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church.
She was retired from Fruit of the Loom, a homemaker and was side by side with her husband in his ministry for the Lord.
Survivors include her husband: Rev. J. Robert Morris to whom she married on June 9, 1962.
To this union were born four children: Stephen Morris and wife Carolyn, Mark Morris and wife Sandra, Robyn Netherland and husband Ben and Jamie Morris and wife Amanda, all of Campbellsville.
Also surviving are two brothers: Larry Miller and Keith Miller and wife Wanda all of Campbellsville; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Charlotte Hunt and Joey Miller.
The funeral service for Carol Morris will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Family requests visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5 – 8 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville.

Mr. Melvin “Shorty” Kimble Hall of Campbellsville, age 73, passed from this life on Friday, February 17, 2023 at his home. Son of the late Herman Hall and Connie Nelson Hall, he was born in Green County on May 5, 1949. He was self-employed, owning and operating “The Ol’ Mule Concessions” and was also a distributor of Hyland Brand dog foods.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Four daughters and three sons: Kim Hagan and husband Matt of Green County, Shannon Cook and husband Brian of Green County, Junior Beams of Summersville, Tammi Miller and husband Chris of Bowling Green, Tim Beams and wife Eda of Idaho, Tommy Beams and wife Shelly of Campbellsville, and Jemima Beams of Campbellsville.
A sister: Shirley Pierce and husband Kenny of Green County.
16 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Melvin “Shorty” Kimble Hall on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 23, 2023 after 1:00 PM until time for the service.
Interment will be in the Taylor’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery
