Susan Harris, 61

Susan Marie Perkins Harris of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late William Bloyd and Mary (Rogers) Perkins, was born October 28, 1961 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 61 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in the cafeteria.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willard L. “Hank” Harris, Sr.; a son: Milburn Bloyd Harris in 1998.
Susan enjoyed watching wresting and drinking her Mt. Dew.
Survivors include: a son: Willard “Lil Hank” Harris; her companion: Richard Williams; special cousin: Jolene Bentley.
Also her special nieces and nephews: Lisa and John Harris, Trenton Harris, Tristian Harris, Haley Harris and Cheyanne Montgomery and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Susan Harris will be Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Rev. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.

Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Wickliffe Lee “Wick” Fergerson, 84

Wickliffe Lee “Wick” Fergerson, of Mannsville, the son of the late Marrs and Ruth (Childers) Fergerson, was born June 26, 1941 in Taylor County, KY (Mannsville Community) and passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin. He was 84 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Fairview Baptist Church at Mannsville and was a former inspector for General Electric.

He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army.

He loved the outdoors and was an automobile enthusiast and also enjoyed fishing, boating and being a craftsman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Harrod and a sister: Shelia Boston.

Survivors include a daughter: Karen Miles and husband George; a sister: Gerri Dillingham and husband Marshall Dwayne.

Also surviving are two grandchildren: Ashley Miles and Steven Miles and wife Chelsea; a great grandchild: Charlotte Miles; close Anthony Doug Cox and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Wickliffe Lee “Wick” Fergerson will be Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy., Louisville, KY with burial to follow.

Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating

Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

There will be NO public visitation prior to the service.

Jerry Lee Foley, 78

Mr. Jerry Lee Foley of Campbellsville, son of the late Leo D. and Edna Irene (Long) Foley, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 9, 1944. He departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Foley was a farmer, and was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Foley was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Gail Rice.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Three siblings: Arnold Foley, Georgia Ann Bowen, and Donnie Ray Foley and wife Debbie, all of Campbellsville,

A close nephew: Joey Rice,

And a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Jerry Foley on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery.

The family will receive friends a the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 8, after 11:00 AM until time for the service.

Kelly Junior Sherrell, 83

Kelly Junior Sherrell of Bradfordsville, the son of the late B. Pendleton and Elizabeth (Chapman) Raikes, was born December 4, 1938 in Taylor County and departed this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Liberty at the Liberty Care Center. He was 83 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Arbuckle Baptist Church and was a farmer.

Kelly was always found working, he was known at the “town mechanic”, he would work on cars, and small engines. He enjoyed playing music of all kinds and could play many instruments such as the guitar, piano, mandolin, just to name a few.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Elizabeth ‘Libby” Powell; a brother: Gene Autry Tungate; three daughters-in-law: Nita Sherrell, Sharon Sherrell and Cathy Lane.

Survivors include his wife: Darlene (Wright) Sherrells; his sons: Darrell Sherrell and wife Lorrie, Bro. Bo Sherrell, P.J. Sherrell and wife Cathy, Raymond Sherrell and wife Mary and Roger Lane.

Also ten grandchildren: Darrell Glenn Sherrell, Chastity Gribbins, Kelly Cissell, Brian, Bradley, Tyler, Jason, Timothy and Elliot Sherrell and Nickki Lane; elever great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Kelly Junior Sherrell will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery at Bradfordsville.

Louise Ford, 69

Louise Ford, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Howard Adrian Hicks and Edna Jane (Sidwell) Edwards, was born, September 25, 1953 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. She was 69 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was attended the New Journey Church and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Fleetwood both in Campbellsville.
Louise enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, the guitar and other instruments, she loved singing and wrote several songs, but her family and grandkids topped it all.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Sharon Sherrell and a granddaughter: Sierra Summers.
Survivors include her husband: Bro. Darrell Ford; her children: Howard Keith Summers, Jr., David Shawn Summers, Tina Louise Stapleton and Shondah Cowherd and husband Brian all of Campbellsville and Joshua Ford of South Carolina.
Also two sisters: Debbie Cox and husband Jerry and Nita Tucker and husband Johnny; her mother-in-law: Betty Wilson all of Campbellsville; thirteen grandchildren: Jordan (Miranda), Austin, Cynthia, Dustin and Chris Summers, Hayley Reynolds (Payton), Kaysen Edwards, Gabriella Abell, Gage, Landon, Jaxson Ford, Addison and Bryce Cowherd; ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends including her dog: Rascal.

The funeral service for Louise Ford will be Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
