Byron “Bama” Edward Jones was born on November 23, 1963 in Selma Alabama. Byron attended Campbellsville High School in Campbellsville, Kentucky, where he was a member of the varsity football team. Byron also participated on a traveling softball team with Sports Reach, as part of a youth evangelistic program.
Byron was the son of Dr. James Edward Jones and the late Martha Bell Jones of Campbellsville Kentucky.
Byron had two sisters, Angela Garner (Pat) and Darlene Head. He had two nephews, Trey Garner (Sarah) and David Garner (Annie), three nieces, Kristen Dabbs (Nick), Brittany Head, and Taylor Head. Byron had numerous great nephews and great nieces whom he loved and adored; Kennedy, Gates, Garner, Gray, Ford, Briggs, Jones, Hobbs, and Chapman.
Byron was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Bell Jones, his grandparents, Fred and Annie Mae Jones and Jimmy and Lora Rose Bell, and his uncles Jimmy Bell and Henry Bell.
Byron will best be remembered as a man who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus. He loved gospel music and he loved to sing.
His favorite song was Amazing Grace.
Byron was also passionate about his Auburn Tigers! He loved wearing his Orange and Blue with pride.
Byron loved his family and friends.
He loved family get togethers.
He never met a stranger and he would do anything for anybody. Byron just loved people unconditionally!
Byron’s family is especially thankful for the companionship and services of his caregivers Latosha Runyon, Kenneth Runyon, Anthony Bryant, Janet Duncan, and Stacy Calhoun.
Special gratitude also to Myra Gribbons and Jean Picard.
The family also acknowledges the special friendships of Tommy Dowell, Jr., Robby Spear, and Phil Cunningham.

Anna Pearl Appleby of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Chester Osby Appleby and Lois Ellis Glover Appleby, was born February 14, 1952 in Casey County, Kentucky. She died at 9:38 A.M., Monday, January 31, 2022 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Age: 69
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pine Grove Church.
Anna loved life, whether it be holidays, birthdays or family get-togethers. She was a happy person and enjoyed the workshops and her Tri-Generation family.
She is survived by one brother and three sisters: Allen Appleby of Clementsville, Phyllis Ritchey and husband, Harley of Campbellsville, Emma Jean Sanders and husband, Leland of Columbia and Wanda Wilson of Casey County; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Anna was also preceded in death by four brothers: Henry Leon Appleby, James Appleby, Arnold Appleby and Franklin Appleby.

Judy Burkhead Rodgers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Rubin Burkhead and Lydia Rhynearson Burkhead, was born April 26, 1951 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:42 A.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 70
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Judy was a retired employee of Walmart in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Grover Rodgers April 5, 1973 and he preceded her in death June 16, 2010.
Judy is survived by two sons and one daughter: Jimmy Rodgers and wife, Jennifer of Campbellsville, Josh Rodgers and wife, Amy of Indianapolis, Indiana and Joy Robinson of Lexington; four step-daughters: Connie Rodgers, Patti Langston and husband, Bud, Laure Rodgers and Julie Stalder and husband, Rick; four grandchildren: Lydia Epperson, Elijah Epperson, Jude Rodgers and Molly Rodgers; five brothers and one sister: Jolly Burkhead, Jettie Burkhead, Jodie Burkhead and wife, Jean, Jeneal “Hooter” Burkhead, Jan Burkhead and wife, Eveleen and Joy Bastin and husband, Randy; one brother-in-law, Tom Underwood; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Judy was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Norman Burkhead, Johnny Burkhead, Jerry Burkhead, James Burkhead and Jane Underwood.

Ronnie Lynn Murray, of Campbellsville, son of Francis Camp Henderson and the late Lindsey Ray Murray, was born March 31, 1957 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:00 P.M., Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 64 He was of the Baptist faith and attended Meadowview Baptist Church. Ronnie was an employee of Campbellsville Water Company with nineteen years of service.
He united in marriage to Vicki Reese Bland December 19, 2020. Ronnie loved life and people and never met a stranger.
He enjoyed hot rods, Harleys and traveling. Besides his wife, Vicki Murray of Campbellsville, Ronnie is survived by one son and one daughter: Levi Murray and fiancée, Sydney Agee and Ronacka Murray and fiancee’, Charlie Kennedy of Campbellsville; one step-son and one step-daughter: Jordan Bland and Jefra Hines and husband, Jared of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Alex Lofton, Alissa Lofton, Griffin Hines, Brody Hines, Asher Hines and Harper Hines; his mother, Francis Henderson of Campbellsville; his step-mother, Jewell Murray of Georgetown; two brothers and three sisters: Dale Henderson and Mike Murray of Campbellsville, Peggy Murray of North Vernon, Indiana, Chrystal Ducker of Georgetown and Jan Henderson of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Norman T. Parrott, of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Thomas Parrott and Anna Madlyn Benningfield Parrott, was born February 19, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:50 A.M., Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Norman served his country honorably in the National Guard.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM for more than fifty years.
Norman loved to garden and was known for growing the best tomatoes in the tri-county area. He was also very proud of his blackberry bushes and especially loved his dog, Tater Tot.
He united in marriage to Margaret Colvin December 20, 1969.
Besides his wife, Margaret Parrott of Campbellsville, Norman is survived by one son and one daughter: Gary Parrott and wife, Melinda of Campbellsville and Carla Johnson and fiance’, Jimmy Meredith of Buffalo; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one brother and four sisters: Ronald David Parrott and wife, Judy of Richmond, Jan Robinson of Burgin, Lynda Spoonamore of Lexington, Pam Parrott White of Makanda, Illinois and Gayle Parrott and husband, Joe Curl of Nashville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his step-son, Stephen Ratliff; two brothers-in-law: Gene Robinson and Sam White; two nephews: Brad Robinson and Brian Robinson and one niece, Lynn Uram.
