Shirley Larimore French

Shirley Larimore French of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Grandville Gilbert and Flossie Green Gilbert, was born February 10, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:52 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Elizabethtown. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Church of God.
Shirley was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She enjoyed shopping and yard sales, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling out and about with Cliff.
She united in marriage to James Harold Larimore December 4, 1954 and he preceded her in death August 5, 1992. She later united in marriage to Clifford E. French October 12, 1996.
Besides her husband, Clifford E. French of Campbellsville, Shirley is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kathy Larimore of Campbellsville; two step-children: Twyla French of Louisville and Tony French of Massachusetts; four grandchildren: Drew Larimore of Campbellsville, Devin Larimore of Louisville, Blake Durrett and wife, Whitney of Tonieville and Andrea Shuffett and husband, Ashley of Green County; four step-grandchildren: Troy French and wife, Diana of Okinawa, Japan, Tracy French, Bryan French and Jason French of Louisville; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Wendell Gilbert and wife, Judy, Brenda Skaggs and husband, Twyman and Donna Burris and husband, Ernie of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Shirley was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Renee Durrett.

Beulah Netherland

Beulah Netherland of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Rodman Mardis and Martie Moss Mardis, was born August 7, 1922 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:20 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Elizabethtown. Age: 99
She professed faith in Christ and was a stalwart of Good Hope Baptist Church where she was both the oldest and longest serving member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Over the years, Beulah served as Sunday School teacher, W.M.U. Director, Vacation Bible School worker and she and her family were the caretakers of the church for many years.
She loved serving large, home-cooked meals to her family when they gathered for special occasions. She also enjoyed working in flowers and talking to friends.
She united in marriage to James S. Netherland November 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death March 29, 2016.
Beulah is survived by one daughter and three sons: Janet Rafferty of Campbellsville, Jim Netherland and wife, Cindy of Columbia, Tennessee, Joey Netherland and wife, Maria of Newton, North Carolina and Jerry Netherland and wife, Jan of Leitchfield; ten grandchildren: James Netherland and wife, Maureen of Clarkston, Michigan, Donna Bownds and husband, Brian of Belton, Texas, Capt. Stephen Netherland and wife, Gerrylynn of Seoul Korea, Jon Rafferty and wife, Carrie of Anderson, South Carolina, Nicholas Rafferty of Richmond, Virginia, Matthew Netherland and wife, Lindsey of Campbellsville, Patrick Netherland of Hickory, North Carolina, Luke Hatfield and wife, Jenny of Leitchfield, Jordan Netherland and wife, Katie of Jackson, Missouri and Chelsi Allison and husband, Luke of Louisville; Beulah is also survived by many great and great-great-grandchildren that she cherished deeply and many cousins and other relatives and friends.
Beulah was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Chelsea Bownds May 27, 2013.

Gary Strange

Gary Strange 73, of Campbellsville, son of the late Clyde and Catherine Strange, was born January 20, 1948 in Jefferson County, Kentucky and died on December 28, 2021 in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Gary grew up in Louisville where he graduated from Male High School. He coached football at Manuel High School, Campbellsville Independent Schools and Campbellsville University. He was a local businessman and educator.
Gary united in marriage to Diana Morris on August 1, 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Strange of Campbellsville; three sons: Jim Strange and wife, Charis of Severn, Maryland; Matt Strange of Campbellsville; and Clint Strange and wife, Lauren of Nashville; one grandson, Atticus Strange of Severn, Maryland; one sister, Judy Walsh of Bardstown; one brother, Allan Strange of Louisville and many other family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by one sister, Sherrill Bere and one brother, Neal Strange.

Lisa Campbell Sallee of Campbellsville, daughter of George “Sonny” Campbell and the late Peggy Jane Brown Campbell, was born March 28, 1967, in Boyle County, Kentucky. She died at 9:40 A.M., Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 54
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith.
Lisa was a retail store manager and always took every store she managed to the top.
She united in marriage to Tony R. Sallee July 1, 1993.
Besides her husband, Tony R. Sallee of Campbellsville, Lisa is survived by one daughter and one son: Peggy Webb and husband, Murray of Alpharetta, Georgia and Blake Sallee and wife, Nancy of Campbellsville; her father and step-mother, George “Sonny” and Gracie Mae Campbell; three grandchildren: Vivienne Webb, Walker Sallee and Beckham Sallee; two brothers and one sister: George Campbell, John Campbell and Debbie Logston; two step-sisters: Faye Lucas and Patty Wethington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Lisa was also preceded in death by one brother, Mike Campbell and one step-brother, Damon Alford.

Richard Nichols of Campbellsville, son of the late Norman Elmer Nichols and Maudie Berdina Lawhorn Robbins Nichols, was born January 13, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. He died at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Lebanon. Age: 72
He was a much-loved resident of the Cedars of Lebanon.
Richard is survived by two sisters: Barbara Thompson of Campbellsville and Evelyn Meade Russell Kampf; nieces and nephews: Benji Thompson of Idago, Jennifer Torkelson, Lincoln Thompson and Abigail Shirley of Kentucky, Annalisa Cutler of South Dakota and Robert Thompson of Tennesee and forty-six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Richard was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Eugene Nichols.
