Dean Minor of Campbellsville, son of the late John Minor and Mary Gupton Minor, was born April 14, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:58 P.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Greensburg. Age: 74
He professed his faith in Christ and attended Faith Union Baptist Church. Dean is an Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He served in the 1st Calvary Division and continued to show deep patriotism upon an honorable discharge. Dean was a skilled carpenter, and worked more than thirty years in the construction industry.
Dean united in marriage to Teresa Carol Thompson March 21, 1981 and she preceded him in death April 9, 2016. He later united in marriage to Pam Milby Lobb February 15, 2020.
Besides his wife, Pam Milby Minor of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Deanna Haskins and husband, Danon of Louisville; two step-sons, Brian Mattingly and wife, Angela of Campbellsville, Clell Lobb of Greensburg; two granddaughters, Emery Haskins and Violet Haskins; three step-grandchildren: Tyler Mattingly, Haley Mattingly, and Karli Mattingly; one brother and one sister: Jim Minor and wife, Irene of Franklin, Indiana, and Christine Wise and husband, Fletcher of Campbellsville; and his beloved canine companion, Bailey; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and five sisters: J.W. Minor, Lucille Spurling, Ruth Stone, Edith Dabney, Johnetta Rash, and Sarah Minor.

Rebecca Lyon Colvin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Earl Lyon and Sally Bartley Lyon was born August 18, 1949 in Glasgow, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Campbellsville after her valiant struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Age: 72
Becky accepted Jesus as her Savior early in life and was an active member at Palestine Baptist Church.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Campbellsville College and Master of Arts from Western Kentucky University and retired after teaching English and Spanish for thirty years at Campbellsville High School.
Becky enjoyed crafting, sewing, baking and watching her grandchildren. She had much rather be doing outdoor chores than housekeeping; mowing, weed eating and taking care of her flowers were her methods of de-stressing after a day of teaching. She also helped Larry with milking before going to school.
Becky united in marriage to Larry Colvin August 7, 1970. Besides her husband, Larry Colvin of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: Robert Colvin of Campbellsville and Richard Lyon Colvin and wife, Monica of Sonora; seven grandchildren: Karmon Colvin, Les Colvin, Lee Colvin, Landon Colvin, Levi Austin, Cody Napper and wife, Mikaela, and Kobe Colvin; one sister, Nancy Lyon Moss and husband, David of Tompkinsville; three sisters-in-law: Arlene Lynch of Campbellsville and Faye Kuegel and Dianne Colvin of Owensboro, one brother-in-law, Donald Colvin of Murrel’s Inlet, South Carolina; a host of Monroe County cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Lena Campbell Harmon of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Campbell and Flossie Colvin Campbell, was born June 3, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Lena was a teller with Citizen’s Bank and also had worked as a switchboard operator, as well as a bookkeeper and secretary for her church. She had a great interest in genealogy and kept perfect photo albums. Lena also enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses and she had a special love for the children, as well as the senior adults she cared for over the years.
She united in marriage to Randall Harmon September 6, 1958.
Besides her husband, Randall Harmon of Campbellsville, she is also survived by two daughters: Shaune Harris and husband, Scott of Bowling Green and Randa Zopff and husband, Daniel of Peoria, Arizona; three grandchildren: Luke Zopff, Levi Zopff and Callie Harris; two sisters: Helen Burris and husband, Calvin of Campbellsville and Nora Susan Jarboe of Louisville; two sisters-in-law: Betty Campbell of Blackshear, Georgia and Jean Campbell of Buckeye, Arizona; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Lena was also preceded in death by two sisters: Carrie Mae Phillips and Louise Roberts and two brothers: C.W. Campbell and George Robert Campbell.

Raymond Wood of Campbellsville, son of the late David Guy Wood and Ethel Dile Wood, was born December 24, 1952 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 12:33 A.M., Friday, October 8, 2021 in Lebanon. Age: 68
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.
Raymond was a very talented hairdresser and instructor for many years. He was a very loving “Poppy” and “Daddy” to his children and grandchildren.
He united in marriage to Janet Giles June 5, 1981 and she preceded him in death December 21, 2020.
He is survived by two daughters: Natalie Wood and Amber Wood; three grandchildren: Kolton Railley, Konnar Railley and Karley Railley; four sisters and four brothers: Norma Wright and husband, Kelly, Helen Rainwater, Melva Wood, Sue Hunt and husband, Jim, George Wood and wife, Sharon, Joe Wood and wife, Vickie, Guy Wood and wife, Rebecca, Bobby Wood and wife, Rebecca all of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Wood.

Helen Reece Kessler of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sherman Reece and Lucy Compton Reece, was born October 16, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:49 A.M., Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Helen was a cashier at Houchens for twenty-one years then worked as a teller for Taylor County Bank until her retirement. She and James enjoyed their retirement years together in Florida. Helen was a great cook who loved to feed her family and friends; she also enjoyed horseback riding and playing cards. She united in marriage to James Elwood Kessler June 7, 1949 and he preceded her in death March 16, 2008. Helen is survived by two daughters: Donna Davis and husband, William and Tammy Cox and husband, Greg of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jeremiah Davis and wife, Tabetha of Campbellsville, Sarah Cornette and husband, Jordan of Danville and Elijah Cox and wife, Carissa of Lexington; seven great-grandchildren: Elliott Davis and wife, Kierra, Evan Davis and fiancé, Sara Lawson, Kennadie Cornette, Rowan Cornette, Scarlett Cornette, Lincoln Cox and Nora Cox; one great-great-grandchild, Grayson Kessler Davis; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Helen was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Ryan Davis and two sisters: Earline Gabehart and Rachel Riggs.
