Lois Hord Carter of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Ray Hord and Elsie Gore Hord, was born July 12, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:59 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Lois enjoyed walking around her Green Acres neighborhood every day and volunteering at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation when she was able. She was a big University of Kentucky Wildcat Fan.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Debbie Carter Mathers, Patty Carter Howard and David Carter and wife, Rebecca of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Heather Barnes, Shawn Carter and Matthew Bright; four great-grandchildren: Tanner Barnes, Lauren Barnes, Colton Bright and Brayden Carter; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers: Joyce Tucker, Dorothy O’Banion, Audrey Maupin, Louise Oliver, Jean Wright, Richard Hord and Kenny Hord.

Lula Mae Dooley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Ray Sullivan and Pearl Nelson Sullivan, was born January 22, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Louisville. Age: 82
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and co owner of B&B Used Trucks. Lula Mae could be described as a loving Christian mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She professed faith in Christ and was a lifetime member, elder and piano player at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Lula Mae united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Dooley January 24, 1959 and he preceded her in death August 9, 1981.
She is survived by two daughters: Denise Gorley and husband, Dale of Campbellsville and Lisa Bryant and husband, Tim of Peachland, North Carolina; eight grandchildren: Clint Barnett of Campbellsville, Tabetha Bryant of Fairfax, Virginia, Jonathan Bryant of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Jacob Bryant and wife, Lindsay of Peachland, North Carolina, Jordan Gorley and wife, Sasha of Harrodsburg, Tatum-Michael Gorley and wife, Ariel of Calvary, Blair Gorley and wife, Emily of Nicholasville and Lexis Gorley and fiancé, Salijah Johnson of Bradfordsville; five great-grand children: Mason Bryant, Riley Mae Bryant, Lawton Gorley, Lilly Gorley and Heidi Gorley; one brother and one sister: Norman Sullivan and wife, Bonnie and Rosie Sullivan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Don Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Claud Smith and Iva Ermine Pike Smith was born August 15, 1939 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 3:40 A.M. CST, Friday December 18, 2020 in Glasgow. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle where he had served as a deacon. Don enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and ministering to those in jail and the nursing home, where he would play his guitar and sing. Don had a heart for his family and they called him a kind and sweet man. He always advised them to trust in the Lord.
He was a retired custodian for the Campbellsville Independent School System after some 27 years of service.
Don united in marriage to Wanda L. Bryant March 24, 1967.
Besides his wife, Wanda L. Smith of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Donna Lynn Morrison and husband, William Scott Morrison of New Albany, Indiana, Larry Wayne Smith and Karen Michelle Seaborn and husband, Dale Mathis Seaborn of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Emily Elise Morrison, Elizabeth Anne Seaborn and Kara Danielle Seaborn and many other relatives and friends.

Audrey Sluder Eastridge of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dewey Sluder and Dora Campbell Sluder, was born September 24, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She died at 7:37 A.M., Friday, December 18, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 99
She was a retired homemaker. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Church of God. Audrey loved her church and was a faithful thither up until her death. Her family was her pride and joy.
Audrey enjoyed working in her flowers and suffered many a fall when she wouldn’t quit digging in the dirt. Audrey was a bundle of joy to be around and made friends easily.
She united in marriage to Robert Lee Eastridge November 14, 1937 he preceded her in death May 10, 2001.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Jay Eastridge and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville, and Meredith Jaskowski and husband, John of Nashville, Tennessee; five great-grandchildren: Lauren Dunham and husband, Mike of Somerset, John Robert Eastridge and wife, Alyssa, Chloe Eastridge and fiancé, Chanson Atkinson of Campbellsville, Kensi Moore and Jace Moore of Nashville, Tennessee; two great-great-grandchildren: Easton Dunham and Hudson Dunham; daughter-in-law, Lisa Eastridge; three brothers and one sister: Bill Sluder and Coy Sluder and wife, Mary of Campbellsville, Wayne Sluder of Hartford City, Indiana, and Imogene Compton of Columbus, Indiana; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Sluder of Campbellsville; special friend, Judy Harden several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Audrey was also preceded in death by three sons: Bobby Eastridge, JD Eastridge, and Billy Eastridge; two daughters-in-law: Judy Eastridge and Terry Eastridge; four brothers and one sister: Doyle Sluder, Elmer Sluder, Winfrey Sluder, Ray Sluder, and Edith Ferguson.

Margaret Skaggs Durham of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Earl Skaggs and Mattie Matherly Skaggs, was born November 11, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:52 A.M., Friday, December 11, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She was a retired elementary school teacher spending the majority of her thirty years teaching 2nd graders at Vine Grove Elementary and Reading to various age groups at Stanford Elementary.
She professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In her younger years and while a member of New Salem Baptist, Vine Grove Baptist and Lancaster Baptist Church, She had taught Sunday School, was a member of the Women’s Mission Organization, helped to organize and teach Vacation Bible School and enjoyed singing in the Church Choir.
Margaret united in marriage to Elvin E. Durham, Jr. February 25, 1950 and he preceded her in death April 13, 2011.
She was a long-time member of both the Taylor County and Green County Country Clubs and was an avid golfer for more than fifty years. Margaret was also a member of the Taylor County Homemakers, a huge UK fan, and enjoyed traveling but she loved her grandchildren more than anything else in the world.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Lisa Durham-Holtzclaw and husband, Joey of Campbellsville and Jeffrey Durham and wife, Peggy of Nicholasville; three grandchildren: Ben Durham and wife, Chrissy of Versailles, Daniel Durham of Harrodsburg and Carrie Durham Adams and husband, Anthony of Wellington; six great-grandchildren: Anikah Durham and Ayden Durham of Versailles, Skyla Durham of Buffalo, New York, Daniel Durham of Harrodsburg and Ethan Adams and Aiden Adams of Wellington; one brother-in-law, Bill Milby of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Margaret was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters: Ruby Miller, J.T. Skaggs, Helen Brown, Anna Mary Skaggs, Mabel Sullivan, David Skaggs, Albert Skaggs and Arlene Milby.
