William Lee Veatch

William Lee Veatch of Campbellsville, son the late William Val Veatch and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born May 25, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 9:06 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2020 in Campbellsville.   Age:  80

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

William was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, seng digging, riding 4-wheelers and watching Nascar races.  But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his daughters.

William is survived by five daughters:  Melinda  LaFollette and husband, Mike of Hodgenville, Kathy Dile and husband, Tony of Magnolia, Stacy Kendall and husband, Lee of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Shelia Coffey and husband, Steven of Gradyville and Jeanette Underwood and husband, Matt of LaGrange; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Janice Sallee and husband, Delmar, Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann, of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Faye Veatch of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David “Buck” Veatch and two sisters:  Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye Veatch in infancy.

Sandy Rainwater

Sandy Rainwater of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edgar A. Cave and Marjorie Long Cave, was born May 11, 1944 in Gloucester, England.  She died at 3:22 A.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Louisville.    Age:  76

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bowman Street Separate Baptist Church.

Sandy was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Gordon Rainwater December 19, 1981 and he preceded her in death August 31, 2004.

Sandy is survived by two sons and two daughters:  Sheree’ Brockman and husband, Donnie of Mannsville, Kenneth Lee Agee and Sheila Caldwell and husband, Gordon of Campbellsville and Gordon Rainwater, Jr. and wife, Amber of Georgetown; nine grandchildren:  Jeremy Wilcoxson, Shawn Sweeney, Brooke Sweeney, Kenny Agee, Chris Agee, Nicholas Glover, Tyler Rainwater, Bridgette Benningfield and Josh Wise; eight great-grandchildren:  Richard McDonald, Brantley Agee, Braxton Agee, Logan Benningfield, Kayley Benningfield, Hunter Wise, Nicholas Wise and Abbigayle Wise; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Sandy was also preceded in death by two sisters:  Julia Richerson and Jacqueline Joelle Cave.

Patricia Followell

Patricia Followell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wallace Cox and Wilma Thompson Cox, was born December 29, 1947 in Casey County, Kentucky.  She died at 8:57 A.M., Friday, October 9, 2020 in Louisville.    Age:  72

Patricia professed faith in Christ and was a former dairy farmer. She enjoyed dancing and her flowers. But nothing compared to the time spent with her grandchildren.

She united in marriage to Billy Followell and he preceded her in death April 1, 1979 and was also preceded in death by her companion, J.W. Hogue.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Billy “Bug” Followell Jr. and wife, Rhoda of Campbellsville, Kim Sapp and husband, Dwight of Greensburg and Tommie Hogue and companion, Gina of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Ashley Williamson, Andrea Followell and Kaley Meers and husband, George; four great- grandchildren: Brooklyn Williamson, Michael Williamson, Sarah Williamson and Rae Matney; one brother and three sisters: Joe Cox and Charoltte Malone of Campbellsville;  Melinda Bishop of Burkesville and Sheila Gabehart and husband,  Randy of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Patricia was also preceded in death by one son, Christopher Followell; two grandchildren: Billy Earl Followell and Bethany Jean Followell; three brothers and one sister: Raymond Cox, Jerry Cox, Maurice Cox and Diana Cox.

Pat Ferrante

Pat Ferrante of Campbellsville, son the late Francesco Ferrante and Maria Musian Ferrante, was born October 22, 1925 in Sannicandro di Bari, Italy.  He died at 2:38 A.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Campbellsville.   Age: 94

He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Pat was a retired employee of Parker Kalon in Campbellsville after thirty years of service and was a former owner of Fastool, Inc.

He united in marriage to Jean Sannicandro June 24, 1948 and she preceded him in death May 15, 2007.  

Pat worked for the American Government during World War II training American soldiers on how to mechanic.  He enjoyed telling stories and having fun.

He is survived by one son and one daughter:  Frank Ferrante and wife, Nancy of Campbellsville and Deborah Ferrante and husband, Kevin Wright of Bardstown;

eight grandchildren:  Jamie Didion, Scott Didion and wife, Coleen, Ashley Coomes and husband, Val, Kate Allen, Meg Patterson and husband, Tye, Alex Ferrante Burton and husband, Tyler, Jenna Ferrante and Jacob Ferrante; three great-grandchildren:  Hudson Didion, Reid Patterson and Jackson Allen; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Ferrante Didion and husband, Doug and one brother and three sisters.

Timmy Kittrell

Timmy Kittrell of Campbellsville, son the late Henery Kittrell and Lillian Mesker Kittrell, was born October 11, 1950 in Fort Knox, Kentucky.   He died at 3:40 P.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Louisville.   Age:  69

He attended Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville.

He was employed at TENCO and Adanta for over twenty years.

Timmy loved jewelry, old cars, fishing, money, animals on the farm and motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.

He is survived by one brother, John Kittrell and wife, Delma of Elizabethtown; his caregivers, Chris and Trina Murphy of Campbellsville; a brother, Richard Brown; a special friend, Morris Miller and his friends at Tri-Generations and Adanta.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Danny Lee Kittrell and William Kittrell.
