Benny Read of Campbellsville, son the late Joseph Bentley “Joe” Read and Nora Crews Read, was born October 12, 1939 in Taylor County, Ky. He died at 2:00 A.M., Friday, October 16, 2020 in Greensburg. Age: 81
Benny enjoyed farming in his younger years and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by two brothers and five sisters: John Read and wife, Sharon, Larry Read, Deloris Jeffries, Edna Read, Josie Osborne, Evalene Read, and Linda Smith.
Benny was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Robert Read, William “Zeke” Sapp, Lee Read, Rosaline Read, Catherine Read, and Norma Jean Read.

Wilma Diann Hardesty of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late, Maurice Hardesty and Iva Richerson Hardesty was born June 29, 1947 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died t 1:55 A.M., Friday, October 16, 2020 in Louisville. Age: 73
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church.
Diann was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Enro Shirt Factory.
She had a beautiful spirit and was usually found smiling in spite of her difficulties.
She loved playing bingo and listening to country music.
Diann is survived by two daughters: Angela Benningfield Harrison and husband, Dale “Bo” and Lisa Benningfield Skinner and husband, Jerry of Louisville; three grandchildren: Amber Harrison Dawson and husband, Andrew, Austin Dale Harrison and Shelbie Diann Harrison; one brother, Randall Hardesty and wife, Sandra of Louisville, two nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Hardesty.

William Lee Veatch of Campbellsville, son the late William Val Veatch
and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born May 25, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:06 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2020
in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
William was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, seng digging, riding 4-wheelers and
watching Nascar races. But most of all,
he enjoyed spending time with his daughters.
William is survived by five daughters:
Melinda LaFollette and husband,
Mike of Hodgenville, Kathy Dile and husband, Tony of Magnolia, Stacy Kendall
and husband, Lee of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Shelia Coffey and husband, Steven of
Gradyville and Jeanette Underwood and husband, Matt of LaGrange; ten
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Janice
Sallee and husband, Delmar, Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann, of
Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Faye Veatch of Campbellsville; several
nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David “Buck” Veatch and two
sisters: Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye
Veatch in infancy.

was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She
united in marriage to Gordon Rainwater December 19, 1981 and he preceded her in
death August 31, 2004.
Sandy
is survived by two sons and two daughters:

Sheila Caldwell and husband, Gordon of Campbellsville and Gordon Rainwater, Jr.

Benningfield and Josh Wise; eight great-grandchildren: Richard McDonald, Brantley Agee, Braxton

Followell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wallace Cox and Wilma
Thompson Cox, was born December 29, 1947 in Casey County,
Kentucky. She died at 8:57 A.M., Friday, October 9, 2020 in Louisville.
Age: 72
Patricia
professed faith in Christ and was a former dairy farmer. She enjoyed dancing
and her flowers. But nothing compared to the time spent with her grandchildren.
She
united in marriage to Billy Followell and he preceded her in death April 1,
1979 and was also preceded in death by her companion, J.W. Hogue.
She
is survived by two sons and one daughter: Billy “Bug” Followell Jr. and wife,
Rhoda of Campbellsville, Kim Sapp and husband, Dwight of Greensburg and Tommie
Hogue and companion, Gina of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Ashley Williamson,
Andrea Followell and Kaley Meers and husband, George; four great-
grandchildren: Brooklyn Williamson, Michael Williamson, Sarah Williamson and
Rae Matney; one brother and three sisters: Joe Cox and Charoltte Malone of
