 Patty Jean Fergerson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Fergerson and Sarah Jane Gabehart Fergerson, was born January 8, 1933 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 A.M., Friday, March 1, 2019 in Greensburg.
Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
Patty Jean was described as being a pioneer woman who took pride in hard work and conservative living. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to old country music.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Christine Fergerson of Campbellsville; one niece, Lisa Fergerson of Elk Horn; two great-nieces: Kristin Davis and husband, Nathan and Katie Edwards and husband, Seth; cousin and caregiver, Marcella Cox of Campbellsville; two special cousins: Anthony Gabehart and Becky Gabehart; several other cousins and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Darryl Fergerson and one nephew, Jamie Fergerson.

William Garnett Bault of Campbellsville, son of the late Basil Bault and Bertie Hovious Bault, was born November 1, 1929, in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 9:15 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2019 in Louisville. Age: 89
He professed faith in Christ and was a long time active member of Palestine Baptist Church serving in many capacities such as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Music Leader and was honored to be named a Deacon Emeritus.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served his country honorably in the United States Army.
William was a carpenter, farmer and former employee of Overhead Door Company. He was a jack of all trades and could repair anything with duck tape and WD40. He was a devoted husband, father and doting grandfather who was known for his witty sense of humor and love of peanut brittle, which he kept handy for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
He united in marriage to Barbara Jean Fawcett October 4, 1953 and she preceded him in death April 21, 2017.
He is survived by one daughter, Ruthie Bender of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Robert Bender of Campbellsville and Jenna Lee and husband, David of Cookeville, Tennessee; one brother and one sister: Leonard Bault of Cane Valley and Betty Willis of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Bault September 14, 2018 and two brothers and six sisters: Leon Bault, Gordon Bault, Maxine Stonecipher, Lonita Hancock, Annelle Cox, Doris Combs, Judy Estes and Mary Evelyn Lee.

Rufus F. Hansford, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late “W. L.” Hansford and Ruby Garrison Hansford, was born October 23, 1939 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 11:40 A.M., Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
The son of a farmer and real estate speculator, he had professed early on that he wanted to be a truck driver. His father could see his path leading to auctioneering as Rufus was mimicking the auctioneers as early as age five. On Fridays at Jacktown Elementary, he held an auction featuring the lost pens and pencils and his talents grew until he began to win state FFA contests at the state fair as a teenager in 1957. Only two weeks into a summer job as the pull boy for American Tobacco Company in South Carolina, Rufus filled in for an ill auctioneer. In 1959, he began employment as an auctioneer with Kessler & Cowherd Auction & Real Estate Company and in 1960, he joined the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, with which he served on many committees, boards and even as president in 1984, he was inducted into the KAA Hall of Fame and was awarded the Champion Bid Caller. In 1970, he founded the Hansford Auction & Real Estate Company. From 1981-1986, he was a finalist in the World Tobacco Auctioneer Championship and in 1987, he was the second runner up. Rufus’ career continued on with many awards, trophies, memorable moments and numerous communities served around Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
He united in marriage to Doris Jones December 29, 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hansford of Campbellsville; two sons: Frankie Hansford (Connie) and Robert “Bam” Hansford (Angela) of Campbellsville, two step-children: Mitchell Jones of Campbellsville and Connie Edelen (Tony) of Bardstown; six grandchildren: Cody Gowin, Weston Jones (Hannah), Macaela Roz Hansford and Logan Hansford of Campbellsville, Ryan Shuffett (Lindsey) of Greensburg and Raina Brooke Simpson (Dustin) of Somerset; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Genevieve McKinley of Leitchfield, Shirley Holt of Cox’s Creek and Faye Close (Russell) of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, William Harold Hansford May 18, 1966; one grandson, Morgan Jones and two brothers and three sisters: Louis Kenneth Hansford, Joseph Russel Hansford, Ida Belle Collins, Geraldine Henshaw and Bobby Jean Glasscock.

 Argerine Sneed Kemp of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William “Bud” Sneed and Alice Baker Sneed, was born October 29, 1931, in the Gradyville Community of Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 4:59 P.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Argerine was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and had also worked in the cafeteria for Campbellsville School System.
She united in marriage to Coy H. Kemp June 25, 1949 and he preceded her in death June 2, 1969.
During Argerine’s short time at Grandview Nursing Home, she was voted President of Residents Council. In her spare time, she loved reading the Bible, going to church and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Danny Kemp and friend, Carol Bryant and Deanna Kemp Cowherd and husband, Robert “Boo” Cowherd of Campbellsville and Donnie Kemp and wife, Kathy of Louisville; daughter-in-law, Lois Ann Kemp of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Terron “T” Kemp and wife, Carla of Mason, Ohio, Leigh Ann Crick and husband, Eric of Brownsburg, Indiana, Laura Allison Grannis and husband, Dustin of Charlotte, North Carolina, Dr. Jamie Kemp and husband, Dr. Robert Cacchione and Daniel Kemp of Louisville, Jason Kemp of Lexington, Megan Barnes and husband, Slade, Christian Cowherd and wife, Devin and Jordan Kemp Cowherd of Campbellsville; six great-grandchildren: Lauren Crick, Archie Cacchione, Ellie Cacchione, Nolan Barnes, Owen Barnes and Addie Reyn Cowherd; two step-great-grandchildren: Tanner Barnes and Lauren Barnes; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, C. Darrell Kemp September 29, 2011; one brother and seven sisters: Austin Sneed, Ivy Coomer, May Coomer, Della Tarter, Catherine Montgomery, Christine Tweddy, Nina Bingham and Lula Elizabeth Sneed.

 Angie Lee of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Carter and Althine Hines Carter, was born March 17, 1969 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She died at 12:09 P.M., Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Louisville. Age: 49
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Angie worked in medical coding at Taylor Regional Hospital. Angie enjoyed taking pictures, making crafts and spending time with family and friends.
She united in marriage to Carl Lee January 1, 2011.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and one daughter: Adam Chandler Godby of Russell Springs, Austin Lee and wife, Aryn of Auburn and Brooklyn Arnold and husband, Mason of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Nolan Jase Lee and Luke Hayes Lee of Auburn; one brother, Gary Carter and wife, Sherry of Somerset; one niece and one nephew: Emilee Carter of Middlesboro and G.W.
