Margaret Clark Shively of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Shelby Bottoms and Alice Greer Bottoms, was born May 15, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:19 P.M., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church. Margaret was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Frank Clark in 1946 and he preceded her in death November 5, 1970.
She later united in marriage to Thomas Shively February 2, 1977 and he preceded her in death May 27, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Doris Puryear and husband, Richard and Jim Clark and wife, Kathy of Campbellsville; two step-children: Frances Buckman of Calvary and Nancy Atwood and husband, Danny of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Richard Jeffrey Puryear and wife, Cindy of Georgia, Melanie Puryear and significant other, Rex Daugherty of Columbia and Jeremy Clark and wife, Andrea of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Calah Puryear, Richard Justin Puryear, Ethan Clark and Kayden Clark; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother: Mary Nelson of Louisville and J. D. Bottoms and wife, Lori of Galveston, Texas; one aunt, Blanche Kerr of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters: Ronald Bottoms, James Bottoms, Lenny Bottoms, Ralph Bottoms, Rita Nelson Cobb, Ruth Price, Carolyn Thompson, Leona Hughes and Hazel Beasley.

Tammy Wade King of Williston, Vermont, daughter of Ruth Mae Perkins Wade and the late C. E. Wade was born October 14, 1966 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Vermont. Age: 52
She professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. She graduated from Taylor County High School in 1984 and was awarded an academic scholarship and later graduated from Campbellsville University with honors with Bachelors in Science Degree in Accounting.
Tammy was a senior field advocate for National Life.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Mae Wade of Campbellsville; one brother, William A. Wade and wife, Laura of Valdosta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Shelia Wade Sinclair and husband, Eddie of Summersville; niece, Angela Wallace and husband, Steve of Somerset; nephews: Chad Wade and wife, Jamie of Mt. Washington and Marty Wade and companion, Ashley of Jeffersontown, Kentucky; great-nieces and great-nephews: Katie Johnston and husband, Ben of Campbellsville, Isabella Wade of Mt. Washington, Alex Brockman of Nashville, Tennessee and Braelyn Wallace of Somerset; special cousin, Connie Wilson and husband, Danny of Campbellsville; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Gene Wade, March 9, 2015.

James Seth “Jim” Campbell, Jr.

James Seth “Jim” Campbell, Jr.of Campbellsville, son of the late James Seth Campbell, Sr. and Dolly Oda Bradshaw Campbell, was born May 13, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:48 P.M., Monday, March 25, 2019 in Elizabethtown. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and had been music minister and associate pastor for several churches in Kentucky and Illinois. He worked with the Kentucky Baptist Association for most of his adult life and served as clerk of the Taylor County Baptist Association for almost twenty years. He also was a member of the Gideon’s for over forty years and for almost twenty years he was the editor of the Kentucky Gideon Newsletter. He also served in several offices of the local Gideon camp.
Jim was a retired educator with the Marion County School System and had taught at other school systems as well. He loved and collected lighthouses and trains and operated an amateur radio for almost forty years; his call letters were KA4HHZ.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and his family meant everything to him.
He united in marriage to Vicky Richardson December 25, 1973.
Besides his wife, Vicky Campbell of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Laura Campbell and husband, Kaare Erickson of Fishers, Indiana, Ruth Campbell of Wendell, North Carolina and James Seth “Jimmy” Campbell, III of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Elizabeth Erickson, Jonathan Erickson, Rebekkah Erickson, Mikaela Erickson, Deborah Erickson and Abigail Erickson of Fishers, Indiana; several brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other friends and relatives.

Paul D. Rogers of Campbellsville, son of the late J. T. Rogers and Catherine Odell Sallee Rogers, was born June 19, 1939, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 2:19 A.M., Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn United Methodist Church, where he had served as music leader, Sunday School teacher, Pastor Parish Committee, Trustee and on numerous committees.
Paul was a retired employee of Taylor County RECC after forty-one years of service.
He united in marriage to Frances Harden March 24, 1961 and she preceded him in death July 29, 1996.
He is survived by two daughters: Paula Powell and husband, Steve and Connie Breeding and husband, Billy of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Samantha Breeding Bradstreet and husband, David, Dillon Powell and wife, Courtney and Andrew Powell of Campbellsville, Gina Breeding Baldwin and husband, Andy of Tampa, Florida and Stevie Powell Alexander and husband, Jake of Cincinnati, Ohio; one step-granddaughter, Shelley Sayles seven great-grandchildren: Adelyn Bradstreet, Greta Bradstreet, Jonah Bradstreet, Judge Bradstreet, Luke Baldwin, Levi Baldwin and Grayson Alexander; one brother and one sister: Robert L. Rogers and wife, Nancy and Kathy Lynn Rogers of Campbellsville; sisters-in-law: Patricia Phillips Rogers and Aileen Wilcoxson and husband, Frank of Campbellsville and Shirley Harden of Danville; special friend, Kay Lile of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.

Mark D. Noel

Mark D. Noel, son of Shirley Willis Noel and the late Dorland “D.H.” Noel, was born May 23, 1960, in the Bass Ridge Community of Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his home. Age: 58
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was owner and operator of Noel Logging for more than thirty years and was proud to work with his son, Sean. It wouldn’t be uncommon for Mark to work daylight to dark in order to complete a job. In his younger years, he farmed with his father, D. H.,
enjoyed mud runs and even had his own mud truck. More currently, riding motorcycles was a favorite past time. He will always be remembered as a good provider for all of his family.
He united in marriage to Danyelle Epley December 17, 2006.
Besides his wife, Danyelle Noel of Bass Ridge, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Sean Noel and wife, Lori of Bass Ridge and daughter, Hayley Noel of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Taylor Noel, JamesMark Noel and Morgan Cox and husband, Jonathan of Bass Ridge; two great-grandchildren: Joey Cox and Jessi Cox; his mother, Shirley Noel of Bass Ridge; three brothers and one sister: Jonathan Noel, Paul Noel, Stephen Noel and Phyllis Noel of Bass Ridge; father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Dena Epley of Russellville; two sisters-in-law: Diane Burchett and husband, Benny, Rebecca Dykema and husband, James; one brother-in-law, James G.
