HEISTAND PARRISH
Heistand Parrish of Campbellsville, son of the late Hance Parrish and Maggie Pearl Aaron Parrish was born January 23, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
He was a construction worker and heavy equipment operator.
He united in marriage to Vernith Cox Parrish January 11, 1986. She preceded him in death July 22, 2016.
He is survived by two daughters: Tammy Porter and husband, Gary and Melissa Benfield and husband, Don of Hickory, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Candy Anglin and husband, Ashley of Aynor, South Carolina, Chase Porter and wife, Rachel of Louisville and Hannah Grimes of Hickory, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Porter Anglin and Aubree Anglin of Aynor, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Thomas Wayne Porter and three brothers and four sisters: Lewis “Sie” Parrish, Otis Parrish, James Parrish, Mary Parrish Keltner, Lou Anna Parrish Cox, Margie Parrish and Leva Parrish Pike.

At Heistand’s request, the body will be cremated.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Thomas Wayne Porter and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Marina Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charles Arthur Brooke and Catherine Bain Brown Brooke, was born July 17, 1935 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She died at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Columbia. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
She was a retired store manager for Willson’s Blue Bunny.
She enjoyed singing at weddings, funerals and other special events. She was also a BPW member.
Marina united in marriage to Paul E. Smith December 8, 1954 and he preceded her in death October 14, 2010.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Steve Smith and wife, Vicki and Sherri Rhodes and husband, Dean of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Scott Burress of Louisville, Wendy Bryant and husband, Robby of Campbellsville, Nathan Rhodes and wife, Elisha, Ben Smith, Adam Smith and wife, Danielle, Corey Smith and Megan Novak of Campbellsville, Nicholas Rhodes and wife, Jill of Georgetown and Bryan Smith of Lebanon; eight great-grandchildren: Tye Rhodes, Braxton Rhodes, Camdyn Rhodes, Aeriana Rhodes, Hannah Smith, Aubrey Smith, Morgan Bryant, Evan Bryant, Addison Smith, Dawson Smith and Chandler Durham; one brother and one sister: Sylvian Brooke and wife, Kathy and June Blane of Scotland; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Michael Lee Smith September 9, 1990 and Debbie Fleming July 26, 2018 and two brothers and two sisters: George Brooke, Charlie Brooke, Rose Jeffries and Eliza Emberley and a sister in infancy.

Sherry Brady of Campbellsville daughter of Doyle Sluder and JoAnn Townsend Sluder was born October 11, 1951 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at
10:57 A.M., Monday, September 24, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 66
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
Sherry retired from the Casey County School System after thirty three years as high school English and Psychology teacher and Guidance Counselor.
She is survived by one son, Jamie Russell and wife, Mashonda and one daughter, Kristi Phillips and husband, Dustin of Campbellsville; two grandchildren, Shandi Russell of Somerset and Kayden Phillips of Campbellsville; her parents, Doyle and JoAnn Sluder of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.

Judy Wagoner of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wallace Jones and Ada Florence Strong Jones Antle, was born May 18, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 75
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a retired employee of Adanta and was currently employed at T. J.’s Consignment where she enjoyed working with Julie and talking to the customers at the store.
Judy united in marriage to Charles Wagoner April 4, 1981 and he preceded her in death November 16, 2014.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Patrick Russell of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Jade Morton and husband, Jon of Columbia, Missouri and Tristan Richerson and wife, Jackie of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristi Russell of Radcliff, Tiffany Powell and husband, Jeremy of Big Clifty and James Russell of Elizabethtown; eight great-grandchildren: Emma Morton, Duncan Mortan, Emma Powell, Madelyn Powell, Aiden Powell, Hunter Pauley, Conner Pauley and Harper Russell; one sister, Janet Scott and husband, James Henry of Ekron; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Bobby Pierce of Campbellsville, son of the late James Pierce and Opal Loyall Pierce, was born December 14, 1945, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:35 A.M., Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 72
He professed faith in Christ and attended Salem Baptist Church.
Bobby retired from UPS after having worked some 30 years.
He united in marriage to Patricia Williams July 15, 1964.
Besides his wife, Patricia Pierce of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Allen Pierce and wife, Angie and Jennifer Tungate of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Amber Gray and husband, Tyler, Austin Tungate and Shelbie Pierce of Campbellsville and Kristan Beard of Lexington; three great-grandchildren: Laityn Gray, Jayce Gray and Koheyn Gray of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
