Nell Hash of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Elzie DeSpain and Goldie Allen DeSpain, was born January 30, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:10 A.M., Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 75
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of 3trees Church.
Nell was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and a former teacher’s assistant at Taylor County Elementary.
She united in marriage to Harlan Hash November 9, 1961 and he preceded her in death March 26, 2015.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Susie Hash; one grandson, Brady Hash of Campbellsville; one sister, Judy Bell of Cocoa Beach, Florida; a special nephew, Gary Brewer and wife, Angela; a special niece, Angie Newton and husband, David Alan of Campbellsville; several other great-nieces and great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Essie Brewer, Leroy DeSpain and a brother in infancy.

Joe Henry Taylor of Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Taylor and Ruth Kidwell Taylor, was born August 5, 1944 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Joe was a retired School Bus driver for the Campbellsville Independent School System for over thirty two years. In Joe’s spare time he would attend auctions but nothing compared to his love for cars. He enjoyed working on them, going to car sales and doing some trading of his own.
He united in marriage to Laura Allen September 29, 1966.
Besides his wife, Laura Allen Taylor, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Mike Taylor and wife, Beverly, Jim Taylor and wife, Delois, Florence Rhodes and husband, Bert and Helen Walker all of Campbellsville; brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny Allen and wife, Tonia, Peggy Fox and husband, Jeff and Danny Buckman of Campbellsville, Robert Allen and wife, Barbara of Somerset, Shirley Sallee of Greensburg and Bill Allen and wife, Marsha and Barbara Brock and husband, Gilbert of Columbia; many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Bishop and a sister-in-law, Charlotte “Cha” Buckman.

Helen Deloris Canada of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dennis Marvin Colvin and Mildred Arnous Bright Colvin was born January 24, 1946 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:35 P.M., Friday, November 24, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 71
She professed faith in Christ on April 24, 1955 and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church where she served as a greeter and kept the Sunday School records.
Helen loved children and was fondly known as everyone’s Granny. Helen and her husband, Utah have been members of the Taylor County Fair Board since 1997 and they were named Kentucky Fair Person of the Year in 2000.
She united in marriage to David Utah Canada August 14, 1964.
Besides her husband, David Utah Canada of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and two daughters: DeWayne Utah “Taw” Canada and wife, Patricia , Roy Marvin “Bill” Canada and wife, Debra, Lorie Ann Richerson and husband, Michael T. and Jana Lynn Marcum and husband, Josh ; ten grandchildren: Kacie Lorin Colvin and husband, Wes, Kelsi Cherie Wilson and husband, Alex, Kasandra Michael Pike and husband, John, Kori Amber Richerson, Megan Lynne Canada, Lindsey Renea Canada, Lauren Grace Canada, Dylan Utah Canada, Hana Lynn Marcum and Jacob Scott Marcum; two great-grandchildren: Sadler Thomas Colvin and Paislee Rae Wilson and an expecting baby Pike; a sister-in-law, Ruby Colvin all of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, Joey Marvin Canada and one brother, Earl Thomas “Tommy” Colvin.

Barbara Jean Gibson of Hodgenville, daughter of the late Eugene Sheridan and Alice Stack Sheridan, was born December 10, 1937 in Spokane, Washington. She died at 10:00 P.M., Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Hodgenville. Age: 79
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.
Barbara worked at Inspiritec in Fort Knox. She was a member of the local bridge club and she cared for her canine companion, Timothy like family.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Jeanne Goodsell of Hodgenville, David Gibson and wife, Krystal of Aurora, Colorado and Thomas Gibson and wife, Brenda of Atkins, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Alex Goodsell and fiancé, Laura Hench of Lexington, Keefe Gibson and Conner Gibson and wife, Samantha of Aurora, Colorado and Kyle Matthews and husband, Ryan of West Virginia; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Dianna Sellin of California; and many other relatives and friends.

Iva Richerson Hardesty of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Truman Richerson and Laura Malone Richerson, was born March 18, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:50 P.M., Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 90
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church.
Iva was not only an excellent seamstress and very creative at floral arranging, but she was also great with wood working. Above all else, she was always a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She united in marriage to Maurice Hardesty on October 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2011.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Randall Hardesty and wife, Sandra of Bardstown and Diann Hardesty Johnson of Louisville; four grandchildren: Angela Benningfield Harrison and husband, Bo, Lisa Benningfield Skinner and husband, Jerry and David Hardesty of Louisville and Randall Gene Hardesty of Bardstown; two great-grandchildren: Austin Dale Harrison and Shelbie Diann Harrison; three step-great-grandchildren: Amber Harrison, Tammy Yaste and William Yaste; one great-great-grandson, Justin David Hardesty; one brother-in-law, R.
