Elizabeth Ann Kirtley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Russell Rice and Lora Richerson Rice, was born January 20, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:27 A.M., Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 78
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Elizabeth was a retired supervisor in the bookkeeping department at Taylor County Bank after thirty-five years of service.
She united in marriage to William H. “Skinny” Kirtley June 8, 1957 and he preceded her in death February 6, 2005.
She is survived by one son and three daughters: Martha Price and husband, Travis, Bobby Kirtley and wife, Lisa, Susan Reynolds and husband, Mike and Jennifer Caulk and husband, Jason, all of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Tyler Reynolds, LeAnna Kirtley, Hannah Price, Rachel Price, Makenzi Caulk and Zachary Caulk of Campbellsville and Ashley Cofer and husband, Mike of Elizabethtown; one great-granddaughter, Adlee Cofer of Elizabethtown; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Helen Rice and Hollis Brockman of Campbellsville and Mildred Kirtley and Walt Kirtley of Aurora, Illinois; special friend, Juanita Moss and caregivers, Charlene Shofner and Zola Roy, all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Frank Rice, Eugene Rice, Maurice Lee Rice, Marjorie Bryant and Clara Dean Brockman.

Louis H. Shipp of Campbellsville, son of the late Odgen Shipp and Ruby L. Young Carter, was born May 4, 1930, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:02 P.M., Friday, June 23, 2017, in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Ribbon with Four Stars.
Louis retired from TGT after more than thirty-seven years’ service.
He was a member of the Pitman Mason Lodge #124 F & AM.
He united in marriage to Peggy Noel and she preceded him in death November 18, 2001.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jim Bailey of Lexington; one grandson, Dusty Bailey and wife, Melissa of Lexington; two great-grandchildren: Emerson Bailey and Riley Bailey of Lexington; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dr. Harold Wilkerson of Campbellsville; two aunts: Virginia Smith of Campbellsville and Jean Dyer of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Shipp May 5, 1965.

Sandra Marie McFelea of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Bill Pearson and Wilda Cruce, was born January 22, 1952, in Paoli, Indiana. She died at 7:19 P.M., Saturday, June 17, 2017, in Campbellsville. Age: 65
Sandra was a retired bookkeeper.
She was a member of the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her life partner, Doug Barnett of Campbellsville; two daughters: Melissa Laymance and husband, Anthony of Campbellsville and Mylea McFelea and husband, Kevin Pangburn of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; four grandchildren: Allie Malone of Nashville, Anthony Sapp of Campbellsville, Lexi Sapp of Floyds Knobs, Indiana and Ava Laymance of Campbellsville; one step-grandson, Dillain Thompson and wife, Kirsten of Mt. Washington; three brothers: Billy Pearson of Perry, Florida, Wayne Pearson and Randy Pearson and wife, Susie of Paoli, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Pearson.

Robert “Burr” Mardis, of Campbellsville, son of the late Euen Mardis and Permelia Colvin Mardis, was born April 4, 1929, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:24 P.M., Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
He served his country honorable as a Corporal in the United States Army from 1952-1954.
Burr was a retired employee of TGT after 37 years of service and was the recipient of many awards and honors.
He united in marriage to Rosemary Ford January 31, 1948.
Besides his wife of sixty-nine years, Rosemary Mardis, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Ron Mardis and wife, Melissa and Gayle Phillips and husband, Charles, all of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Matthew Mardis and wife, Becky of Elizabethtown, Nicole Driver and husband, Bob of Campbellsville, Janice Brockman and husband, Tim of Bowling Green, William Phillips and wife, Tana of Campbellsville, Kimberly Poff and husband, Brandon of Liberty and Aaron Campbell and wife, Kristin of Campbellsville; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister and their spouses: Harry and Adele Mardis and Margie and Claude Roby and two nieces and two nephews: Jane Harmon, Mary Ann Lowe, Larry Roby and Richard Roby

Deanne Haggerty of Campbellsville, daughter of Robert Adams and Sonia Marczyk Dominick was born May 7, 1970 in Warren County, New Jersey. She died at 4:40 A.M., Friday, June 16, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 47
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith.
She was a loving wife and mother who was very involved in her children’s school and extracurricular activities. She loved the great outdoors especially gardening and bird watching. She often volunteered with projects of the Taylor County Extension Office.
She united in marriage to David Haggerty September 10, 1995.
Besides her husband, David Haggerty of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters and one son: Alicia Dalrymple and husband, Michael of Warren County, New Jersey, Heather Haggerty and Garrett Haggerty of Campbellsville; two granddaughters, Ellie and Savannah Dalrymple and many other relatives and friends.
