Hugh Mack Garrett of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry T. Garrett and Mattie Tungate Garrett, was born April 4, 1926 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 4:40 A.M., Monday, July 11, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 90
He was baptized in the Methodist faith when living in Louisville.
He was a retired farmer, factory employee and postal service employee.
He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a disabled veteran having suffered injuries on Normandy Hill.
He united in marriage to Mary Ann Fisher June 18, 1966.
Besides his wife, Mary Ann Garrett of Campbellsville, he is survived by seven sisters and one brother: Marguerite Sallee and Emmie Edwards and husband, Bobby of Campbellsville, Kitty Jarboe of Covington, Gladys Jean Childress of Louisville, Linda Quinn and husband, David of Harrodsburg and Audrey Kirkland and husband, Jerry, Shirley Richardson and husband, Leonard and Oliver Garrett and wife, Kathryn of Lebanon; one step-brother, John Sallee and wife, Gertie of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother-in-law, William Earl Fisher and wife, Anna Marie of Smiths Grove; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Louise Sexton, one brother, Harlan Garrett and a sister-in-law, Eveline Riley.

Aletta Kay Shofner Johns of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Oscar W. Shofner and Alma Sidebottom Shofner, was born August 23, 1964, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:15 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Campbellsville surrounded by her loving family. Age: 51
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ.
She is survived by two sons: Adam Johns of Campbellsville and Eric Johns of Frankfort; one brother, Larry Shofner and wife, Glenna of Campbellsville; one niece, Brandi Graham and husband, Jody of Las Vegas, Nevada; one great-niece and one great-nephew: Sully Graham and Dayne Graham of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Bobby Shofner August 19, 2014 and Phyllis Sullivan July 24, 2013.

Per Aletta’s wishes, cremation was chosen and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

E. Mac Hill of Campbellsville, son of the late James Henry Hill and Bettie Graham Hill, was born September 25, 1925, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:02 A.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He was a retired mechanical engineer with Tennessee Gas Transmission in Campbellsville.
He served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
He united in marriage to Fayetta Cox August 19, 1948.
Besides his wife, Fayetta Cox Hill of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Allan Hill and wife, Rosie of Campbellsville, Jim Hill of Louisville, Amy Hill of Morgantown, West Virginia and Katy Blancett and husband, Bruce of Goshen; nine grandchildren: Savannah Morgan of Campbellsville, Chris Hill and wife, Kristen of West Palm Beach, Florida, Eli Hill and wife, Cheryl of Ashville, North Carolina, Joey Hill and wife, Megan of Lafayette, Indiana, Caleb Hill, Jason Hill and wife, Emily and Jared Hill and wife, Sarah of Louisville, Mason Blancett and Blake Blancett of Goshen; ten great-grandchildren: Dakota Morgan, Cody Morgan, Autumn Morgan, Jaden Hill, Landon Hill, Sophie Hill, Max Hill, Riley Hill, Eloise Hill and Zander Hill; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Percy Hill May 3,1992, Ocie Hill Long October 26, 2011 and Lenora Hill December 7, 1999.

Pauline Kerr of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Griffin B. Chewning and Cecil Ella Todd Chewning, was born February 23, 1926, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:15 A.M., Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She was united in marriage to Howard Kerr September 11, 1953. He preceded her in death June 9, 1999.
She was a retired sales and bookkeeping employee.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Sherry Kerr of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Thomas Kerr of Campbellsville and Sarah Kerr Coomer and husband, Dallas of Ft. Lee, Virginia; two great-grandchildren: Shayla Coomer and Denver Coomer; one brother and one sister: Bobby Chewning and wife, Peggy, and Mary Jean Jeffries of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: William A. Chewning, Katherine Chewning, Alma Philpott and Genevieve Tarter.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Bluegrass Way as loving caregivers and the Office of Dr. William D. Feltner.

Marjorie Louis Richeson Wilson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late J.W. “Willie” Richeson and Nora Robinson Richeson, was born October 27, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:42 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 87.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as church secretary and treasurer and Sunday school teacher and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She was the Taylor County Farm Bureau Federation secretary and tax consultant for some 36 years; prior to that she was a tax consultant at H&R Block. She was an accomplished seamstress, and as a 4-H leader, she taught many young ladies to sew.
She united in marriage to Buford Wilson on December 4, 1948.
Besides her husband, Buford Wilson of Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Paul Akridge of Campbellsville; three granddaughters: Mariah Akridge of California, Sarah Jefferson of Georgia and Mary Jefferson of Texas; special friend and caregiver, Dellen Shabazz; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Matherly, August 24, 2010.
