David Bell of Campbellsville, son of the late Virgil Lawrence Bell and Stella Louise Killen Bell, was born September 20, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:09 P.M., Sunday, June 12, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 72
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for several years.
He was a barber for over fifty-plus years and a retired farmer.
He united in marriage to Pat Wethington November 16, 1963.
Besides his wife, Pat Bell, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Keith Bell and wife, Billie Jo and Lisa Richerson and husband, John; four granddaughters: Miranda Richerson and Willie Abell, Loren Fulkerson and husband, Brian, Jessalyn Read and husband, Jonathan and Brittanie Bell; one step-grandson, Jeff Dyer, all of Campbellsville; six great-grandchildren: Reagan Read, Myleah Read, Addison Fulkerson, Collyn Fulkerson, Isaac Abell and Maylee Abell, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, C. T. Bell.

Elva Hopkins of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Nathan McCubbin and Vanda Marshall Foster McCubbin, was born October 9, 1921, in Green County. She died at 7:36 A.M., Monday, June 6, 2016 in Louisville.
Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and was a long time, faithful member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
She was a retired employee of Parks Belk Department Store.
She united in marriage to Otis Hopkins October 22, 1944. He preceded her in death December 3, 1987.
She is survived by one brother and two sisters: Paul McCubbin and wife, Jane of Campbellsville, Betty Lou Smith and husband, Granville of Louisville and Barbara Rogers of Florida; several other nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters: Hugh McCubbin, Carl McCubbin, Elmer McCubbin, James McCubbin, Ray McCubbin, Claudine Rodgers and Jo Ann Caffee.
The family would like to thank the Fransicscan Healthcare Center staff for all of their loving care.

Avon Cundiff of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edgar Turner and Mary Arnold Turner was born March 19, 1932 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 8:50 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church where she was an active member of United Methodist Women and had served as a Sunday School Teacher for forty years.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of The Loom.
She united in marriage to Morris Cundiff December 25, 1948. He preceded her in death December 17, 2011.
She is survived by one son and one daughter and spouses: Patty and Kenny Gordon and Larry and JoAnn Cundiff of Campbellsville; four grandchildren and spouses: Robbie and Stephanie Cundiff, Bradley and Amanda Cundiff, Adam and Lindsey Gordon and Erika and Cody Adams; nine great-grandchildren: Austin Cundiff, Ariel Thompson, Jacob Cundiff, Lane Whitley, Brady Cundiff, Rylie Cundiff, Raegan Cundiff, Halie Adams, and Aesen Gordon; two sisters and three brothers: Margaret Sneed of Bridgeview, Illinois, Aretha and Bobby Corbin, Jimmy and Linda Turner, Tommy and Sharon Turner and Mickey Turner of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Mary Aline Vannice of Russellville, daughter of the late John Sylvester Sluder and Lettie Mae Cox Sluder, was born April 25, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:27 A.M., Friday, June 3, 2016 in Russellville. Age 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Raymond Leroy Vannice on July 16, 1953. He preceeded her in death on September 19, 2004.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Winnie B. Thrasher February 10, 1945. She preceded him in death April 20, 2011.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Kenneth Eastridge and wife, Galene, Pam Smith and husband, Norman and Lois Jean Thompson of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Bonnie Graham, Douglas Thompson and wife, Lisa, Shay Graybeal and husband, Wes, Megan Fields and husband, James and Andrea Shipp and husband, Scott of Campbellsville and Dana Roney and husband, Mark of Lebanon; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Rose Kingsbury and Barbara Moore and husband, Patrick of Campbellsville and Naomi Collins and husband, Willard of Indiana; one sister-in-law, Audrey Eastridge of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
