pippinHenry C. Pippin of Campbellsville, formerly of Bowling Green, son of the late Verbin Pippin and Inez Stinson Pippin, was born June 3, 1952, in Warren County, Kentucky. He died at 8:25 A.M., Friday, February 26, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 63
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church where he served as treasurer for 30 years, was a former Deacon, and Sunday School Director and Teacher.
He was a 1970 graduate of Warren Central High School and 1975 graduate of Western Kentucky University.
He obtained his CPA license in 1983. He moved to Campbellsville in 1985 and owned his own practice for twenty years and was a current employee of White Oil Company.
He united in marriage to Gail Tabor, May 18, 1974.
Besides his wife, Gail Pippin of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter Jennifer Michelle Pippin and fiancé, Robert Hoover of Cold Springs, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Vernon Pippin, Sammy Pippin and Jimmy Pippin.

Peggy Walker of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Virgil Kenneth Bowles and Thelma Christine Lowe Bowles, was born November 2, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:43A.M., Monday, February 15, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 78
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was also owner and operator of Peggy’s Fabric & Windows for fifteen plus years and enjoyed crafts and quilting.
Peggy felt a calling to share the Gospel through prison ministry and did so for thirty-eight years.
She united in marriage to Bobby Gene Walker November 15, 1974.
Besides her husband, Bobby Gene Walker of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters and two sons: Sandra Hinton and husband, Jimmy and Lisa Gaddie and husband, Robby of Campbellsville, J. W. Price, Jr. and wife, Susan of Lancaster and Randall Price and wife, Patti of Suwanee, Georgia; one step-daughter: Dana Rafferty and husband, Brian of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson and husband, Larry, Jason McGinnis and wife, Ashley, Ashley Cole and husband, Doug, Amanda Welton and husband, Tyler, Emily Graham and husband, Clay, Blake Sallee and finance’, Nancy George, Erika Gaddie and finance’, Richard Burress, Abbi Price and Destiny Rafferty; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Virgil Kenneth Bowles, Jr. of Georgetown, Indiana and Virginia Bowles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Lynn Price March 13, 1955 and a grandson, Lance Corporal Jonathan Thomas Price June 21, 2014.

SpearMichael Ray Spear of Fallbrook, California, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Vestal Samuel Spear and Mary Morris, was born March 5, 1958, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:07 A.M., Saturday, February 6, 2016 in California. Age: 57
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a motorcycle escort for the California Motor Patrol office.
He was passionate about fundraising and served as an organizer and host of many charitable events, such as Muscular Dystrophy, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital of San Diego, as well as many other charities.
As a truck driver, Michael had a multi-million mile safety record.
Besides his wife, Bonnie of California, he is survived by two grandchildren: Jorden Perkins and Blake Perkins of Campbellsville; one sister and one brother: Sheila Ann Caldwell and husband, Gordon of Campbellsville and Gordon Rainwater, Jr. and wife, Amber of Georgetown; special aunt and uncle, Linda and Glenwood Richerson of Campbellsville; special cousin, Steven Richerson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jada Rose Spear Rutherford; his grandparents, Orbazine Faulkner, Ben Black Richerson and Morna Allen Richerson.

Virgil R. Sharpe of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas Sharpe and Hallie Milby Sharpe, was born November 5, 1937, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 8:10 A.M., Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 78
Virgil professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a retired farmer and construction worker having worked several years for Blevins Construction.
Virgil is survived by two sons and one daughter: Terry Sharp and Susie Clark and husband, Timmy of Campbellsville and Randy Sharp and wife, Tammy of Lexington; two grandchildren: Dennis Clark of Lebanon and Melanie Clark of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Maddox Clark, Kadence Clark and Jadah Deering; one brother and two sisters: Elder Jimmie Sharp and wife, Donnetta, LeraAnn Sprowles and husband, Glevins and Florene Colvin and husband, Omer of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Christine Burress of Campbellsville, daughter of the late H. B. Philpott and Verna Isaacs Philpott, was born August 3, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:47 P.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 89
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church in Louisville.
She was a retired seamstress.
She united in marriage to Robert “Pat” Burress July 30, 1949. He preceded her in death March 9, 1981.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Robert L. Burress and wife, Patricia of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Cathy Decker and husband, Bill of Louisville; two grandchildren: Melissa Thomas and husband, Randy of Piedmont, South Carolina and Kristin Decker of Louisville; two great-grandchildren: Megan Kramer and Stephen Thomas; one sister, Catherine Kearney of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Terri Michelle Burress; one great-grandson, Zachary Vaughn and three brothers: Oscar Philpott, Clyde Philpott and Manuel Philpott.
