Dimple Breeden 2Dimple Breeden of Russell Springs, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charles Nollman Smith and Eula Pike Smith, was born May 12, 1924, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 9:35 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Russell Springs.     Age: 90

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She united in marriage to Lloyd L. Breeden in 1944. He preceded her in death October 23, 1993.

She is survived by three brothers and one sister: Norman Smith and wife, Gloria of Russell Springs, Wilmer Smith of Martinsville, Indiana, Glenfield Smith of Campbellsville and Fannie Mae Jacobs and husband, Homer of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Calvin Logan Smith, James S. Smith, Clarence E. Smith, Gordon Smith, Ethel Phelps and Mary Jane Cowan.

Murrell Kelsey Farmer, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Murrell Kelsey Farmer, Sr. and Gerdena “Siby” Wise Farmer, was born October 3, 1949, in Taylor County. He died at 10:14 P.M., Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Campbellsville.  Age: 64

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and he served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a former chaplain and commander of the VFW Post 8827 in Chicago, Illinois.

Murrell was a retired Boilermaker with the local 347 of North West Indiana, after moving to Campbellsville, he became a licensed horse trainer, breeder and owner-operator of Farmer Ridge Farm.

He united in marriage to Nancy Ann Ruff, December 15, 1971.

Besides his wife, Nancy Farmer, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Murrell Kelsey Farmer, III and wife, Brandie Lee and Julie Ann Mitchell and husband, Woody of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Gavyn Farmer and Penelopy “Buttons” Farmer of Campbellsville; three brothers: Don Farmer of Campbellsville, Lonnie Farmer of Elkhorn and Larry Farmer of Whiting, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Delores Farmer.

Dale Miller, of Campbellsville, son of the late Russell Miller and Iva Murrell Miller, was born November 9, 1929, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 10:45 P.M., Friday, September 19, 2014 in Lebanon.           Age: 84

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

He was a retired appliance salesman having worked at Henry Durham and Son, Crabtree Firestone Store and Noe and Ratcliffe.

He united in marriage to Dorene Dowell, March 22, 1953.

Besides his wife, Dorene Miller, he is survived by two daughters: Ann Moss and husband, George of Campbellsville and Pat Hartman and husband, Bill of Hanover, Indiana; five grandchildren: Jeremy Smith and wife, Lisa, Jamie Smith and wife, Trena, Amanda Wilson, Megan Bays and Grant Bays all of Campbellsville; eight great-grandchildren: Payton Reynolds, Wesley Reynolds, Avery Smith, Blaine Smith, Owen Smith, Olivia Smith, Lily Kate Smith and Kyler Wilson; one brother and one sister: Deston Miller and wife, Gloria of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Mary Lynn Netherland of Austin, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She united in marriage to Kenneth Merle Cox November 19, 1954. He preceded her in death January 4, 2014.

William Bill Gupton2William “Bill” Gupton of Campbellsville, son of the late Robert Lewis Gupton and Sarah Katherine “Sally” Sanders Gupton, was born June 15, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

He died at 8:05 P.M., Monday, September 15, 2014 in Campbellsville.    Age: 83

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

He united in marriage to Lena Benningfield December 24, 1953.
