Stanley McCubbin, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late H. T. McCubbin and Callie Dangerfield McCubbin, was born in Green County, Kentucky, March 1, 1936. He died at 8:35 A.M., Monday, September 14, 2015, in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He was a retired farmer and machinery dealer.
He united in marriage to Betty Daffron January 14, 1955.
Besides his wife, Betty Daffron McCubbin, he is survived by one son, Stanley McCubbin, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Campbellsville; two grandsons and one granddaughter: Stanley McCubbin, III and wife, Brandy and Todd McCubbin and wife, Elizabeth of Campbellsville and Andrea Goodman of Nashville; six great-grandchildren: Logan Parker, Callie McCubbin, Chloe McCubbin, Jayden McCubbin, Kenley McCubbin and Kayden Long; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas McCubbin and a sister-in-law, Jean McCubbin.

Rev. Ron Ferree

Rev. Ron Ferree of Campbellsville, son of Ellsworth Louis Ferree and the late Virginia Alice Meredith Howard, was born June 30, 1946, in Gibson County, Tennessee.
He died on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 1:54 P.M. in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was 69 years old.
Ron graduated from Bethel College, McKenzie, TN in 1978 and went on to graduate from Memphis Theology Seminary in 1982 with a Masters degree in religion.
After his profession of faith in Christ he was called into the ministry and served as pastor of several churches over the past 40 years. At the time of his death he had been pastor of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville for the past 16 years.
Ron was a policeman for a few years in his hometown of Milan, Tennessee. He was a state worker in the CHFS division for 16 years and retired in 2009. He was a volunteer fireman for over 25 years serving in several different states where he lived. He was on the Campbellsville Volunteer Fire Department for several years and was named Firefighter of the Year on two different occasions. He was a member of the Ministerial Association and other volunteer organizations including the Crusade for Children drive.
He married his High School sweetheart, Carole Brasher in February, 1966.
Besides his wife, Carole Ferree, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Miller and husband, Tim of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Sgt. Dakota Meyer and Timothy Gilliam of Columbia and Marissa Gilliam and Talia Gilliam of Campbellsville; two half-brothers: Stephen Wayne Howard of Lebanon and Ricky Carl Howard of Bowling Green; his father, Ellsworth Louis Ferree and step-mother, Lena Ferree of Marietta, GA; a brother-in-law, nieces and nephews and many friends and church family.
He loved God, his church, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 19, 2015 at
Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville, KY with Rev. Earl West officiating.

VISITATION: From 12:00 to 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the Church

Bobby A. Gaddie, of Campbellsville, son of the late W.A. “Bud” Gaddie and Betty Smith Gaddie was born January 1, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:02 A.M., Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Hodgenville. Age: 72
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer.
He united in marriage to Becky Hutcherson January 2, 1963.
Besides his wife, Becky Gaddie he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Lisa Gaddie of Campbellsville, two granddaughters: Emily Elizabeth Graham and husband, Clay and Erika Grace Gaddie; one great-granddaughter, Lindsey Elizabeth Graham; three sisters: Betty Jewell Hinton of Campbellsville, Peggy Litton and husband, Kenneth of Ghent, West Virginia and Ina Mae Edwards and husband, Joey of Horse Cave; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

John T. Durham JR.

John T. Durham, Jr 001John T. Durham, Jr. of Wilmore, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg and Campbellsville, son of the late John T. Durham, Sr. and Florence Hoagland Durham, was born in Green County, Kentucky, May 17, 1919 and departed this life September 7, 2015, at Wilmore, Kentucky. He was 96 years old.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church for
58 years and upon moving to Campbellsville, transferred his membership to Palestine Baptist Church.
Mr. Durham retired from the U.S. Postal Service November 14, 1980, having served 25 years 7 months as the Greensburg Post Master. He also worked a number of years on the Greensburg and Southern Kentucky Tobacco Markets.
He served his country honorably for 3 years 6 months in the United States Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Sergeant, was a lifetime member of the Greensburg Rod Lowe Post 124 American Legion and served two years as Post Commander, and was also a lifetime member of the D.A.V.
He united in marriage to Mattie L. Sprowles June 6, 1956. She preceded him in death November 5, 2014.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Annella Durham of Lexington; one grandson, Ryan Adams and wife, Katie of Nicholasville; two great-granddaughters: Elyse Adams and Lily Adams; one niece, Linda Hall of Greensburg; a number of great-nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Hobert L. Durham, Hardin K. Durham, and Lettie Durham Moore.

Sarah Affield Davis of Campbellsville, daughter of Janet Schuster Cure of Belvidere, Illinois and the late Steve Cure, was born November 18, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois. She died at 5:01 P.M., Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 45
She was a former Commercial and Residential construction worker and owned and operated Affield Cleaning & Painting.
She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
She united in marriage to Malcom R. “Mack” Davis December 15, 2014.
Besides her husband Mack Davis, she is survived two daughters and three sons: LeeAnn Affield of Georgetown, Kentucky, Stephanie Affield and Caiden Cox-Davis of Campbellsville, Brad Cox and wife, Myro of Charleston, Illinois and Cody Cowan of Chicago, Illinois; one step-daughter: Sandi Davis Boone of Campbellsville; one granddaughter: Hailey Cox of Charleston, Illinois; two step-granddaughters: Victoria Boone and Callie Boone of Campbellsville; mother Janet Cure of Belvidere, Illinois: one sister, Rhonda Davis of Candlewick, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
