Walter “Phil” Benningfield, of Campbellsville, son of the late Marvin Benningfield and Ethel Leer Puryear Benningfield was born August 27, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:20 A.M., Monday, July 20, 2015 in Springfield.
Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and attended White’s Ridge General Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom.
He is survived by two brothers: Samuel Benningfield and wife, Mildred of Campbellsville and James Benningfield and wife, Burnestine of Elkhorn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Benningfield, February 6, 2015

Bernice Marcum of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Olen Knight and Ruth Stapleton Knight, was born June 24, 1931, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 11:46 P.M., Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-one years of service and also an employee of Due Dirty Laundry for eight years.
She united in marriage to Walter “Woodie” Marcum February 28, 1959. He preceded her in death September 11, 2002.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Julie Marcum of Campbellsville; one grandson, Corey Marcum of Campbellsville; one step-grandson, Brandon Bowling of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Charles Knight, Martha Mann and Geneva Pendleton.

Bernice Underwood, daughter of the late, Howard Lee Hedgespeth and Letha Belle Sprowles Hedgespeth was born March 21, 1946 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Friday, July 17, 2015 in Somerset. Age: 69
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Donald Underwood February 28, 1965.
Besides her husband, Donald Underwood of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: James Underwood and wife, Tammy and Stephen Underwood and girlfriend, Tina Kerns; one grandson, Scott Lee Underwood, and girlfriend, Sarah Cain; two step-grandchildren, Justin and Kobe; one step-great-grandson, Alec; one brother, James Hedgespeth, a sister-in-law, Mary Lois Underwood, a special friend, Ann Milby; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Allen.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Reginald D. Reynolds August 8, 1953. He preceded her in death July 31, 1995.
