Jesse W. Stiles of Campbellsville, son of the late Jacob W. Stiles and Lucinda Jane Davis Stiles, was born in Larue County, Kentucky, May 29, 1914. He died at 1:56 P.M., Friday, January 24, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 99
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Larue County.
He was a member of Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F&AM.
He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Army for thirty one years plus, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He received the following medals and commendations: ACM, EAME, WWII VM, NDSM, KSM, ROKPUC, AFEM (LAOS), AFRM, AOM, NDSM (1ST OLC), RVNCM W/60 DEV, VSM, MUC, TWO OS BARS, GCMDL (1ST – 8TH AWDS), MSM.
He united in marriage to Edna Lyle May 31, 1947. She preceded him in death July 13, 1988.
He united in marriage to Elma Perkins Wilson January 29, 2008.
Besides his wife, Elma Wilson Stiles of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter (who stated he was the greatest Dad, ever), Barbara (Bobi) Stiles and friend Russell Duty, of Kennard, Texas; two granddaughters: Christina Meiburger of Washington and Cathryn Salfiti and husband, Abe of Fort Hood, Texas; one great-granddaughter: Ashlyn Faith Salfiti; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carole Sue Stiles; great-grandson, Cody Austin Meiburger; three sisters and three brothers: Gertrude Thompson, Frances Hunter, Marie DePage, Henry Stiles, Bill Stiles and David Stiles.

Donald Wright of Campbellsville, son of the late Clayton Wright and Pearl Thompson Wright, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 12, 1931. He died at 3:35 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Columbia. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Holiness Faith.
He was a retired employee of Taylor Regional Hospital after many years of service.
He united in marriage to Estleen Skaggs August 9, 1952.
Besides his wife, Estleen Wright, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Lynn Wright, Marlene Wright, and Karen Clark and husband, Mitchell all of Campbellsville; one grandson, Jared Clark of Campbellsville; one brother and three sisters: Keith Wright, Thelma Hash, Barbara Graham, and Linda Thompson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Jo Wright August 14, 2008 and three sisters: Kathleen Beams, Nancy Gilpin, and Geraldine Wright.

Ruth W. McMahan of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ralph G. Wilson and Edna M. Williams Wilson, was born in Green County, Kentucky, December 7, 1941. She died at 5:15 P.M., Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 72
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Thomas R. McMahan July 8, 1962.
Besides her husband, Thomas R. McMahan, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Ron McMahan and wife, Cathy and Andrea Settle and husband, Kent of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Katelyn McMahan, Caroline McMahan, Zack Settle and Blake Settle of Campbellsville; two brothers and three sisters: Ruel “Sonny” Wilson and wife, Mary, Roger Wilson and wife, Judy, Marian Newton and husband, Willard and Gay Bright of Campbellsville and Sheila Judd and husband, Roger of Summersville; one sister-in-law, Ruby Wilson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenny Wilson August 3, 2002 and J. W. Wilson in 1935.

Rev. Marshall Sloan, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Wallace Harvey Sloan and Linnia Myrtle Neal Sloan, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee February 23, 1953. He died at 11:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Louisville.
Age: 60
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Green County, where he was a former pastor.
He united in marriage to Leta Harris October 4, 1974.
Besides Leta Sloan, he is survived by two sons: Marshall Sloan, Jr. and wife, Angela of Auburn, Kentucky and Eric Sloan of Port Charlotte, Florida and ex-wife, Amanda Moore of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Blake Camp, Josh Camp, Ashley Sloan, Andrew Sloan, Matthew Sloan and Kaitlin Sloan; one sister, Rita Sparks and husband, Clarence of Dayton, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Sloan.

Dona Hardy of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Judson Berry and Mavis Warren Berry, was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, December 2, 1918. She died at 5:58 A.M., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to James A. Hardy, who preceded her in death January 5, 1992.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rev. J. Alvin and Peggy Hardy of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jim Hardy and wife, Lorri of Campbellsville, Pam Hardy of Nashville, Tennessee and Kathy Snow and husband, Eddie of Wilmington, North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Sue Hardy December 14, 1958 and two brothers and one sister: Willie Berry, James Berry and Nannie Belle Cornett.
