Marie Murrell of Alexandria, Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville and Jeffersontown, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ernest Williams and Vela Clark Williams, was born in Springfield, Illinois, April 16, 1927. She died at 2:20 P.M., Friday, April 5, 2013, in Indiana. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.
She retired from General Electric in Louisville.
She united in marriage to William “Bill” Murrell February 19, 1947. He preceded her in death September 24, 2002.
She is survived by three sisters: Norma Walters and husband, David of Campbellsville, Mae Dean of Anderson, Indiana, and Velma Lois Myers of Maryville, Tennessee; two other brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: W.I Rucker and Doris Williams of Campbellsville, Jim Murrell of Augusta, Georgia, and Joan Williams of Brandenburg, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers: Helen Rucker, Dorothy Burris, Kenneth Williams, Richard Williams, Jim Williams, and Ernie Williams.

Charles V. Graham, of Campbellsville, son of the late Monroe Vernon Graham and Elsie Noel Graham was born May 17, 1926 in Tallula, Illinois. He died at
3:40 A.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 86
He was a retired employee of Cardinal Manufacturing.
He united in marriage to Genevie Atwood June 9, 1960. She preceded him in death April 16, 2003.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Vernon and Angie Graham and Rickie and Debbie Graham of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Brandon Graham, Jessica Graham, Savannah Graham, Rickie Dale Graham, Derrick Keltner and Jason Keltner all of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren, Eden Grace Keltner and Zach Keltner; two sisters and one brother: Vernice Taylor and husband, Marshall, Corrine Sublett and husband Leonard and Grover Graham all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Ruby Turner, Edna Graham, Thurman Graham and Ray Graham.

Marie Bright of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Hudson and Dorothy Blake Hudson was born April 19, 1933 in Marion County, Indiana. She died at 10:15 A.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She united in marriage to David Bright December 20, 1952. He preceded her in death March 7, 2004.
She is survived by four daughters and one son and their spouses: Barbara and Bobby McCubbins of Summersville, Brenda and Mark Hazard and Nita and Mike Parker of Campbellsville, Linda Cardenas and Jerry Gavito of Ft. Worth, Texas and J.D. and Tonya Bright of Canmer; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Jenny Tucker and husband, Hollis of Richmond; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Funk .

Dr. Robert S. Clark of Campbellsville, son of the late Albert Samuel Clark and Lillie Mae Gray Clark Berry was born December 12, 1931 in Shelby County, Kentucky. He died at 9:00 A.M., Friday, April 5, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He was a lifelong minister and educator, having pastored two churches in Tennessee and serving as Director of Missions for the Taylor County Baptist Association from 1999 to 2008. His educational background included a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College in 1953 and a theology degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received an MA degree from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Rank I and a doctorate in Educational Administration from Vanderbilt University; he also attended Tulane University for graduate work. He taught history and Social Services (1966-1976) at Campbellsville University and served as Vice-President of Academic Affairs (1976-1988) totaling 32 years of service.
He believed in an individual’s responsibility to his community. He was an active member of Campbellsville Baptist Church, a founding member of Campbellsville Kiwanis Club, and a member of Clay Hill Memorial Forest Board. He was a member of the Kentucky Filson Club, Taylor County Historical Society, and a speaker for the Kentucky Humanities Council where he was recognized for his knowledge of the lives of Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. He was also a member of MENSA. His selfless community service was rewarded by him be named 2006 “Taylor County Man of the Year” by the Central Kentucky News-Journal and being given the prestigious Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for Christian Servant Leadership by Campbellsville University in 2007.
He united in marriage to Lillian Bruner December 18, 1948.
Besides his loving wife of 64 years, Lillian Clark of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters and one son and spouses: Sandy and Larry Blanton of Paoli, Indiana, Renee and Marc Kessler of Greensburg, Robert S. Clark, Jr. and Mary of Campbellsville and Beverly and Gerald Manley of Waddy; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jack Breniser of South Bend, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Clark and one great-grandson.

Bro. Omer Farmer of Campbellsville, son of the late Ollie Farmer and Sadie Rafferty Farmer, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 30, 1934. He died at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 5, 2013, in Louisville. Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
He retired as a Baptist minister with some fifty years of service.
He united in marriage to Ruth Kingsbury May 22, 1965.
Besides his wife, Ruth Farmer, he is survived by three daughters and one son: Ina Kearney of Campbellsville, Barbara Fisher and husband, Ricky of Lebanon, Sarah Kaminski and husband, Scott of Douglasville, Georgia and Lewis Farmer of Louisville; five grandchildren: Douglas Kearney and Mindy Watson and husband, Ben of Campbellsville, Ricky Fisher, Jr., Cody Fisher and Sara Fisher of Lebanon; two brothers, Wayne Farmer and wife, Joyce of Elk Horn and Raymond Farmer of Buffalo; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Eugene Kearney and two brothers and one sister: Ralph Farmer, Orval Farmer and Mildred Pyles.
