SSG (Ret.) Cliff Parke of Campbellsville, son of James Shelby Parke and Runell Boston Parke, was born in Sulphur Well, Kentucky, July 8, 1954. He died at 6:20 P.M., Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Campbellsville. Age: 58
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army for over twenty-one years primarily as a Telecommunications Specialist and Recruiter. He retired as a staff sergeant and was awarded many medals and citations including: Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Star, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th Award), Driver and Mechanic Badge, US Army Gold Recruiter Badge with three Sapphire Achievement Stars, Sharpshooter Qualification Badge, M-16 Rifle and M-9MM Pistol.
He served during the Vietnam Era and Desert Storm Era, having retired on September 30, 1995.
He united in marriage to Joyce Sumner Strunk April 9, 1988.
Besides his wife, Joyce Strunk Parke, he is survived by two step-sons: Eddie Strunk and fiancée, Jennifer Nicholas and Tim Strunk and wife, Karen; two grandsons: Cody Strunk and wife, Bobbi Jo and Keagan Strunk; three great-grandchildren: Anisia Strunk, Caitlin Strunk, and Keagan Edward Strunk, Jr.; all of Somerset; his parents, James Shelby and Runell Parke of Campbellsville; two sisters and their husbands: Jenene and Clark Bledsoe of Floyds Knobs, Indiana and Pattie and Ray Doyle of Marietta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Gladys Franklin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Roy Clark and Haggie Gribbins Clark, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 31, 1927. She died at 11:56 A.M., Friday, October 26, 2012, in Campbellsville. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Connie Graham and husband, Sam of Campbellsville and Dallas Lynn Franklin and wife, Phyllis of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters: Buford Clark and wife, Joan of Macon, Georgia, Leslie Clark and wife, Beechel, Douglas Clark and wife, Diane, Beulah Pyles and Laverne Sapp of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Ruby Clark of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Clark.

Brayden Jaymes Farmer, infant son of Bobby Alvin “B.J.” Farmer and Ashley Yocum, of Campbellsville, was stillborn in Hardin County, Kentucky, Thursday, October 25, 2012.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother and one sister: Alyssa Bree Farmer and Andrew Blake Farmer of Campbellsville; grandparents: Clay and Sharon Yocum of Campbellsville, Linda and Michael DeSpain of Greensburg and Bobby and Martha Farmer of Elizabethtown; great-grandparents: Verna Lee Spencer of La Grange, Elzora Yocum and Evelyn Bentley of Campbellsville and Zenith and Cherfield DeSpain of Greensburg and many other relatives and friends.

Teresa Roberts of Campbellsville, daughter of Evelyn Williams Pike and the late Coy Pike, was born October 25, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:08 P.M., Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 68
She was a retired employee with Cumberland Optical as a sales representative.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
She united in marriage to Richard (Buck) Roberts April 20, 2002.
Besides her husband, Richard (Buck)Roberts, she is survived by two daughters and one step-son: Sherry Willis and husband, Scott of Bowling Green, Lisa Cox of Louisville and Derrick L. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Metzmeier Nursing Home.
She united in marriage to Closkey Colvin May 28, 1936. He preceded her in death
June 1, 1972.
