Orbazine Barnett Spear Puryear Faulkner of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Samuel Barnett and Eliza Jane Williams Barnett was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 27, 1920. She died at 3:40 P. M., Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Greensburg.           Age:    91 She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mannsville Christian Church. She united in marriage to Miley B. Spear who preceded her in death January 28, 1956.  She united in marriage to Delmer F. Puryear who preceded her in death January 16, 2002. She united in marriage to Richard Lee Faulkner December 25, 1971. Besides her husband, Richard Lee Faulkner of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters and two sons: Linda Kay Richerson and husband, Glenwood of Campbellsville, Brenda Argo and husband, David of Norman, Oklahoma, Lonnie Spear and wife, Cathy of Elizabethtown, and Otis Puryear and wife, Wendy of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Steven Richerson, Jay Alan Ferguson and wife, Aubrey, Andy Nash Ferguson and wife, Kelly, Jennifer Lynn Jenkins and husband, Ritchie Jenkins, II, Cody Wesley Puryear, and Michael Ray Spear and wife, Bonnie; three step-grandchildren:  Kasi VanDyke and husband, Tony, Daniel Judd and Barrett Argo and wife, Terra; four great-grandchildren:  Jada Rose Powell Rutheford, Matthew Jenkins, Michael Jenkins and Alexandria Jenkins; two step-great-grandchildren: Caleb VanDyke and Lillie Judd; two great-great-grandchildren, Jorden Perkins and Blake Perkins; two sisters: Christine Pedigo of Campbellsville and Pauline Wright of Fairdale; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Jade Makayla Sullivan

Jade Makayla Sullivan of Campbellsville, daughter of Charlotte Farmer Sullivan and Mike Sullivan of Campbellsville, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 12, 1994. She died at 8:05 P.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Campbellsville as the result of an automobile accident.                  Age:    17

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church.

She was a member of the Taylor County High School Class of 2012 and was employed as assistant manager of Save-A-Lot Food Store.

Besides her Mother, Charlotte Sullivan and Father and step-mother, Mike and Connie Sullivan of Campbellsville, she is survived by one sister and one brother: Shanna Sullivan of Greensburg and Jeremy Sullivan and wife, Jennifer of Lebanon; three step-sisters: Candi Pittman, Amy Thomas, and Billie Jo Hafley of Lebanon; one niece and one nephew: Abby Sullivan and Brody Judd; grandparents: Marcelena Sapp and Leon and Geneva Sullivan of Campbellsville; several aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.

William G. “Bear” Reese of Campbellsville, son of the late Richard E. Reese and Doris Wolford Reese, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 27, 1947.  He died at 6:50 P.M., Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Campbellsville.   Age:  65 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a retired school teacher and coach with the Marion County School System. He united in marriage to Sharon Speer August 1967.   Besides his wife, Sharon Speer Reese, he is survived by two daughters:  Vicki Bland and husband, Jeff and Vanessa Melton and husband, Steven of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jefra Kaysi Bland, Jordan Reese Bland and Sheri Danielle Morris of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends.

George L. Pike

George L. Pike of Campbellsville, son of Leona Kilby Pike and the late Charles Thomas Pike, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 2, 1947.  He died at 6:00 P.M., Monday, April 30, 2012, in Campbellsville.    Age:   64

He was a retired employee of the Campbellsville Water Company, a former employee of Kentucky Utilities Company and spent many years in construction.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He united in marriage to Johanna Robinson June 5, 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Johanna Pike of Campbellsville; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Tina Pike of Campbellsville; one daughter, Karen Delk of Campbellsville; five grandsons and one granddaughter: Tyler Pike, Devin Pike, Logan Delk, Jacob Delk, Jonathan Sparks and Baylee Marie Pike of Campbellsville; his mother, Leona Pike of Campbellsville; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Beverly Pike of Campbellsville; one niece and one nephew:  Patricia Wilcoxson and Allen Pike of Campbellsville; and several other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Pike April 19, 2011 and a brother, Robert Thomas Pike in infancy.

Leon Rodgers

Leon Rodgers of Campbellsville, son of the late Bonnie Rodgers and Grace Sherrell Rodgers, was born in Green County, Kentucky May 21, 1925. He died at 10:12 P.M., Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

He was a retired employee of Taylor County RECC. He united in marriage to Frances Kearnes August 26, 1961.

Besides his wife, Frances Rodgers, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Gary Glasscock of Campbellsville; two grandsons, Ian Glasscock and Shane Glasscock of Campbellsville; one brother, Houston Rodgers of Carrollton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Rodgers December 19, 1987 and a brother, Leo Rodgers.
