Bob LaGodney

Robert “Bob” LaGodney of Campbellsville, son of the late Otto Florian LaGodney and Rose Marie Solzan LaGodney, was born in Detroit, Michigan, September 11, 1942.  He died at 10:08 A.M., Friday, February 17, 2012 in Campbellsville.

Age:  69

He was owner and operator of Bell Bakery for many years and a former employee of A.M. General in Indiana.

He united in marriage to Joyce Buchmiller August 12, 1961.

Besides his wife, Joyce LaGodney, he is survived by two sons:  Bill LaGodney of Campbellsville and Bob LaGodney of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Mary Louise Staples of Mishawaka, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers:  William Joseph LaGodney and Robert LaGodney.

Elizabeth Arinsmier of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rutherford Benjamin Morgan and Seattie Hensley Morgan, was born in Perry County, Kentucky, April 25, 1934.   She died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Campbellsville.  Age:  77

She was employed in food service.

She united in marriage to Edward Arinsmier, Jr., who preceded her in death June 13, 2000.

She is survived by one son and one daughter:  Matthew A. Blaine of Cincinnati, Ohio and Rosa Clements and husband, David of Campbellsville; two grandchildren:  Amy Baldwin of Campbellsville and Thomas Morgan of Greensburg; five great-grandchildren:  Kim Thompson, Renee Baldwin, Jesse Durham and Thomas Morgan of Campbellsville and Brandon Morgan of Russell Springs; one great-great-granddaughter, Brianna Hayes of Campbellsville; one sister, Osa Morgan of Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Emory Morgan.

Burlie Hadley

Burlie Hadley of Campbellsville, son of the late Allen Hadley and Mary Linda Simpson Foster Hadley, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, November 4, 1933.  He died at 5:00 A.M., Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Campbellsville.  Age:  78

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church in Adair County.

He was a retired custodian with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

He united in marriage to Ernestine Sneed September 29, 1962.  She preceded him in death March 21, 2002.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Todd Corbin of Campbellsville; one grandson, Josh Corbin of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister:  Delmar Foster of Campbellsville and Mae Shepherd of Russell County;

several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister:  Roy Foster, Alvin Foster, Arvil Foster, Gracie McGaha and Loranzy Foster in infancy.

Joyce Spurling of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joe Latimer and Opal Christie Latimer, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 20, 1934.  She died at 1:35 P.M., Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Campbellsville.  Age:  77

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was employed in retail sales for many years and was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville

She united in marriage to Charles Spurling July 8, 1960.

Besides her husband, Charles Spurling, she is survived by one daughter, Sherri Brewer and husband, Shawn of Campbellsville; two step-granddaughters:  Leah Cook of Danville and Kayla Brewer of Florence; one brother and one sister, Donald Latimer and wife, Mary of Jacksonville, Florida and Barbara Parrish and husband, Jim of Columbus, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers:  Bobby Latimer, Lowell Kenneth Latimer and Gary Richard Latimer.

Aaron Brenner of Campbellsville, son of the late Sam B. Brenner, Sr. and Helen Redwine Brenner, was born March 31, 1951, in Clay County, Mississippi.  He died at 2:48 A.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Campbellsville.   Age: 60

He was employed as a business manager with McMahan Heating & Air.

He is survived by two daughters:  Susan Kerr of Haymarket, Virginia and Tracy Brenner of Marathon, Florida; three grandchildren:  Brandon Kerr of Arizona, Miranda Kerr and Laura Kerr of Haymarket, Virginia; two brothers:  Sam Brenner, Jr. of Campbellsville and John Brenner of Eden, New York; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
