Chester “Bill” Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Omer Wise and Lizzie Jane Hardesty Wise was born in Marion County, Kentucky, January 21, 1923. He died at 9:40 A.M., Thursday, November 24, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He and his wife, Dorothy, were owner and operator of Wise’s Grocery for seven years and owner and operator of Campbellsville Upholstery for twenty-five years before his retirement. He was a volunteer at C & S Mission Store for some twenty-eight years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for many years.
He united in marriage to Dorothy Thompson February 22, 1947. She preceded him in death May 3, 2004.
He is survived by two sons: Ron Wise and wife, Sue and George Wise and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; son-in-law, Larry G. Cox of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Melissa Ellis and husband, Alfred of Dunnville, Pat Watson and husband, Mike of Knifley, Mackenzie Wise of Charleston, South Carolina, Lorna Bush and husband, Greg of ElkHorn, Ben Cox and wife, Shannon of Mannsville, and Max Wise and wife, Heather of Campbellsville; twenty great-grandchildren: Jacob Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Seth Ellis, Moriah Ellis, John Samuel Ellis, Julia Ellis, Ruth Ellis, Sarah Ellis, Micah Ellis, Caitlin Watson, Anna Beth Watson, Payne Watson, Tyler Bush, Molly Bush, Grayson Wise, Jackson Wise, Carter Wise, McLean Wise, McKenzie Cox, and Keeton Cox; one sister and one brother: Aileen Harrison and G. L. Wise of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Cox August 18, 2002; three sisters and three brothers: Nannie Livers, Opal Mae Wise, Maudie Rafferty, Earl Wise, Carl Wise, and Donald Wise.
VISITATION: After 5:00 P.M. Sunday and 7:00 A.M., until time for the service Monday at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Mary Elizabeth Price of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jonathan N. Edwards and Mary Marshall Cowherd Edwards, was born in Green County, Kentucky, February 7, 1916. She
died at 5:05 A.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Henry Woodrow Price June 25, 1932. He preceded her in death June 1, 2000.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie W. and Carolyn Price of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: J. W. Price, Jr. and wife, Susan of Lancaster, Sandra Hinton and husband, Jimmy and Lisa Gaddie and husband, Robby of Campbellsville and Randall Price and wife, Patti of Atlanta; two step-grandchildren: Angela Gilpin and husband, Keith of Liberty and Jamie Warren and husband, Timmy of Durham, North Carolina; ten great-grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson and husband, Larry, Jason McGinnis and wife, LeAnna, Ashley Cole and husband, Doug, Kara Warren, Jonathan Price, Amanda Welton and husband, Tyler, Emily Graham and husband, Clay, Erika Gaddie, Olivia Gilpin and Abbi Price; two great-great-grandchildren: Christian Price McGinnis and Naomi Kate Johnson and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Louise Price April 7, 1943; one granddaughter, Diana Lynn Price March 13, 1955 and one sister, Virginia Louise Carter.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Ray Noel July 2, 1954. He preceded her in death October 29, 1985.
She united in marriage to Travis Lewis January 7, 1990. He preceded her in death October 7, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, June Parker and husband, Kenny of Campbellsville; four step-children: Linda Seaver, Brenda Blevins, and Roger Lewis of
Campbellsville and Donald Lewis of Woodinville, Washington; one granddaughter, Shannon Lee and husband, Steven of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter,
Alexa Parker of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Marvin Kearney of Plano, Illinois and Mary Davis of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews
and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters: George Kearney, Homer Kearney, James Lee Kearney, Henry Kearney, Chester Kearney, Otis Kearney,
Willie Kearney, Ruth Kearney, Cora Kearney, Lizzie Stubbs, and Dollie Swafford.

Amedeo “Fred” Politano of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of the east side of Chicago, son of the late Vincenzo Politano and Cittadus Coucetto Politano, was born in Cosenza,
Italy, August 13, 1918. He died at 9:30 A.M., Thursday, November 17, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 93
He was a barber on the east side of Chicago for over sixty years.
He sang lead in five major operas in Chicago.
He servedhis country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II.
He united in marriage to Louise B. Woszczynski who preceded him in death August 4, 1992.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Logullo of Bourbonnais, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Ida Politano of Chicago, Illinois; special friend, Pat Pritchard of Campbellsville, Kentucky;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Aldo Politano, Otto Politano, and Tony Politano.

Helen Bowen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Rease Bowen and Alice Campbell Bowen, was born in Taylor
County, Kentucky, December 14, 1927. She died at 5:17 P.M., Monday, November 14, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
She was co-owner of John Hoffman Fruit Market in Louisville for several years.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Allen Pike and Patricia Pike Wilcoxson and husband, Tim of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Wade Allen Pike of Japan,
Corey Jacob Pike and Emily Jae Hamlett of Campbellsville; two sisters and one brother: Marjorie Hendrickson, Jean Stanfield and W. R. Bowen of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Lynn Pike January 3, 2000 and three brothers: George Alfred Bowen, Richard Lee Bowen and W. A. Bowen.
