June Taylor of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edna Shepard Reese, was born June 1, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She died at 4:47 A.M., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 76
June had a deep spiritual soul and belief.
She was very patriotic and supportive of the U.S. Flag and military.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and had also been employed at Airguard and Taylor Regional Hospital.
June is survived by one son and one daughter: Brad Taylor and Robin Taylor Christie of Campbellsville; four chosen grandchildren: Kirk Christie (Cathy), John Christie and Amelia Christie of Campbellsville and Matthew Christie (Love) of Knoxville, Tennessee; one expected great-grandson; very special cousin, Gene Shepard of Louisville and other relatives, cousins and friends.
Family will receive visitors from 1:00 P.M., until time of service

Geraldine Rafferty of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Chalon D. Sullivan and Lizzie Hunt Sullivan, was born September 9, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:45 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Dillard Rafferty January 11, 1946 and he preceded her in death July 1, 2013.
Geraldine Rafferty’s life on earth was the perfect example of being Jesus’ hands and feet. Her heart was a pure, kind, unselfish, servant’s heart. She enjoyed and loved people, always looking for the opportunity to brighten someone’s day, or to be a listening and caring ear when someone needed to talk.
Geraldine was a devoted and supportive wife to Dillard Rafferty for 67 years. She respected and supported her husband in all personal and business affairs throughout their marriage. Gardening, canning, and cooking kept her busy for many years.
Geraldine raised her three children in church, making sure they learned God’s word and how to follow it in their lives. She instilled the importance of honesty, charity, and work ethic.
Some of her greatest gifts shone when she became a “Granny.” She was the absolute perfect Granny to her three grandchildren. She blessed all three with a steady firm foundation of unconditional love. As a grandchild of Geraldine Rafferty, you were made to feel adored and special at all times, always welcomed, always loved.
Geraldine’s great-grandchildren knew her as “GiGi.” To say she was a devoted GiGi would be an understatement. Geraldine took tremendous pride in her four great-grandsons and was an active part of their lives. She attended countless tractor pulls, baseball games, basketball games, graduations, even took a ride in a golf cart or two. One great-grandson who stayed with his Nannie before he started school was close enough for her to take countless walks down the hill to see him.
Some favorite words Geraldine shared through the years:
“I had a wonderful husband.”
“I have a good family.”
“You girls got me good son-in-laws to take care of us.”
“I’m proud of you.”
“They are such good boys, especially in this day and time.”
“I’m a tough ole Sullivan.”
“No matter what happens, it is well with my soul.”
…And most recently…”I’ll be 93 my next birthday, if I make it, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve put my faith in the Lord Jesus, and that’s the important thing.”
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Ron Rafferty and wife Mary Lou, Nancy Inman and husband Harold and Terry Brewer and husband Bill of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Christy Parks and husband Scott, Mark Inman and wife Sara of Campbellsville and John David Inman of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Tanner Parks, Cooper Parks, Logan Inman, and Colton Inman; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Geraldine was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Earl Sullivan and Naomi Sullivan.

Billy Benningfield of Campbellsville, son of the late Arland Benningfield Sr. and Mary Nellie Marrs Benningfield, was born October 12, 1932 in Marion County, Kentucky. He returned home to his Heavenly Father at 7:19 A.M., Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
He professed faith in Christ.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army as a cook during the Korean War.
Billy worked at National Bird Inc. in Stokie, Illinois, then moved onto General Electric where he retired in 1972 from the welding department in building 1. He was a member of the Suburban Masonic Lodge #740 and a member of the VFW post 6182. Billy lived his life as an avid fisherman, telling lots of jokes along the way.
He married his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, Frances Marie Bloyd, August 5, 1955.
Besides his wife, Frances Benningfield of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons Billy Benningfield Jr. of Nebraska, John Benningfield Sr. of Raywick, and Donald Benningfield, (Holly) of Bullitt County; nine grandchildren; seventeen and one-half great-grandchildren; his caretaker Kathy Smith; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Billy was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Layla Fox and Arland Benningfield Jr.; and his loving dog Decca.

Louise Harris of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leonard Wilson and Ida Belle Cox Wilson, was born December 4, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:10 P.M., Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Kenneth Harris March 30, 1956 and he preceded her in death October 21, 2017.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Clements of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Trevis Bell and Trena DeMasi; three great-grandchildren: Madison Bell, Mylee Bell and Serenity Bell; one brother, Larry Wilson and wife, Bonnie of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Nolan Robinson of Campbellsville, son of the late William “Bill” Robinson and Cora Tudder Bright, was born September 4, 1935 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 3:20 P.M., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church and had more recently attended Springfield Presbyterian Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Nolan was an entrepreneur. Not only did he farm and have rental properties, but after fourteen years of working in management with Kroger, he started the first Convenient Food Mart outside the Louisville Metro Area.
He united in marriage to Judy Browning May 1, 1966.
Besides his wife, Judy Robinson of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Steven Robinson of Lawrenceburg and Beth Osborne of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren: Lily Anne Osborne and Chapman Walker Osborne, of Wichita, Kansas and Nolan Lee Robinson and Grand Thomas Robinson of Springfield; one brother, James Martin Robinson of Galva, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Nolan was also preceded in death by two brothers: Donald Adrian Bright and William Michael Robinson.
