Pauline Williams, of Campbellsville passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 in Campbellsville at the age of 99
She professed faith in Christ and was a long-time member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where she was for many years a member of Young at Heart and the Don Bishop Sunday School Class.
She united in marriage to her husband Harlen Williams and they were married 45 years until he passed away in 1992. She was the daughter of Joseph and Clara Sublett Walters and was preceded in death by four siblings: Frances Curry, Horace “Shorty” Walters, James Walters and Charles Walters.
Survivors include her son Norman (Janet)Williams of Nicholasville, KY, granddaughter Julie Williams of Fort Lauderdale, FL, grandson Nathan (Jessica) Williams of Richmond, KY, and their daughters Allison and Madilyn Williams. She was also blessed to have Alice Davisson as a devoted caregiver and friend.
She loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great granddaughters as they grew up and in traveling with friends and family. Pauline worked at Union Underwear for many years and was later a sales associate at Catos. She also enjoyed service as a member of the Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary.

Larry Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late Walter E. Hunt and Winnie Eltis Hunt Hunt, was born December 20, 1944 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 4:54 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Lebanon. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
Larry was a retired Logger and enjoyed farming and feeding his pet deer.
He united in marriage to Charlotte Hunt December 4, 1970 and she preceded him in death November 29, 2015.
Larry is survived by one daughter and one son: Kristie Mattingly and husband, Ryan of Campbellsville, and Josh Hunt and wife, Nora of Lebanon; five grandchildren: Olivia Mattingly, Evelyn Mattingly, Emma Hunt, Amelia Hunt, and Aria Hunt; two sisters: Delean Davis of Campbellsville, and Carol Miller of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Sullivan.

J.W. Hardin of Raikes Hill Road, Elk Horn, Kentucky son of the Joe H. Hardin and Villa Malone Hardin. He was born April 6,1941 in Louisville, Kentucky. He joined his Lord on July 11, 2026 at the age of 85.
He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Methodist faith. He loved the Lord and loved to worship when he was able.
He was a member of the Merrimac Masonic Lodge. He united in marriage to Linda Richerson Hardin. She preceded him in death August 6, 2012.
He survived by two sisters: Shirley (Frank) Cheatham of Campbellsville Ky, Carole (Tom) Cheatham of Lexington Ky. And a sister in law, Brenda McCauley of Lebanon Ky. Two sons, Jeffery Hardin of Lebanon Ky, Michael Hardin of Elkhorn Ky, Daughter, Lisa (Ernie) Conder of Danville Ky. Two Grandsons; Kyle Hardin of Greensburg Ky, Gage Conder of Danville Ky, Two Granddaughters; Jasalynn and Chloe Richards of Danville Ky and many nieces and nephews.
He also preceded in death by his three brothers; Harold Morris Hardin, Charles H. Hardin and Joseph Michael Hardin.

George Henry Dearen, 89, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, passed away on July 8, 2026.
Born on June 8, 1937, George was the son of the late George Henry Dearen, Sr. and Jennie Douglas Dearen.
George dedicated his life to farming, a profession he took great pride in. He raised tobacco, corn and soybeans and operated a successful dairy farm for many years. His strong work ethic, commitment to the land, and love for agriculture were evident throughout his life. He found purpose in caring for his farm and took great satisfaction in providing for his family through honest, hard work.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Dearen, who passed away on August 4, 2007; his son, Daryl Douglas Dearen, who passed away on January 15, 2018 and his parents, George Henry Dearen, Sr. and Jennie Douglas Dearen.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Dearen, and by his cherished companion, Tibby Altman of Greensburg, Kentucky, whose friendship, love and companionship brought great joy to his life. He also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will cherish his memory.
George will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of farming, and the values of perseverance, integrity and hard work that guided his life. His memory will live on in the fields he tended, the family he loved, and the lives he touched throughout the years. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Don Shaw of Campbellsville, son of the late Seymour Shaw and Mabel Russell Shaw, was born August 24, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:12 P.M., Monday, July 6, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
He was a retired educator & coach for many years. His accolades include the KHSAA Baseball Hall of Fame, 5th Region Hall of Fame, Walton-Verona High School Hall of Fame as a coach, Hall of Fame at Campbellsville Independent Schools as an athlete and a coach, and the Hall of Greats at Taylor County Schools as a coach.
He united in marriage to Gail Miller Shaw June 3, 1956 and she preceded him in death January 11, 2023.
Don is survived by one daughter and one son: Mary Jo Hazel and husband, Nick of Campbellsville and David Shaw and wife, Sue of Lexington; seven grandchildren: Matthew Hazel and wife, Ashley, Justin Hazel and wife, Taylor, and Carlie Hazel, all of Campbellsville, Tyler Shaw and wife, Katie, and Jared Shaw, all of Lexington, Meredith Forssman and husband, Julius, of Germany, and Patrick Shaw of England; five great-grandchildren: Elinor Forssman, Bennet Forssman, Harlan Hazel, Scarlett Hazel, and Banks Hazel; one brother, Dick Shaw of California; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Shaw; three brothers and two sisters: Buddy Shaw, Russell Shaw, J.T. “Jimmy” Shaw, Sarah “Tot” Buckler, and Ethel Buchanan.
