Marilyn (Pat) Joan Hennessee Perkins was born on September 21st, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William F. and Florence I. Hennessee. She passed from this life on Monday, September 26th, 2022 at her son’s home in Athens, Alabama. She was 91 years old. She was married to the love of her life, James R. Perkins, for 56 years when he passed in 2003. She was baptized into Christ in Greasy Creek during a Gospel Meeting, and served the Lord faithfully as a member of the Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Green County High School. After raising her children she worked 6 years in the cafeteria at Taylor County High School, a job that she loved. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Homemakers club, an outstanding cook, and supportive of all of her children’s endeavors.
She is survived by one daughter, Patty Reynolds (Steven) of Campbellsville, Kentucky and three sons: Kenny Perkins (Dian) of Franklin, Kentucky, Jim Perkins (Denise) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Bill Perkins (Elayne) of Athens, Alabama. She has eight grandsons and three granddaughters; twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a great many friends in Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama.
She is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Peggy Clark (Steve) of Campbellsville.

Kathy Graham of Campbellsville, daughter of Roxanne Farmer Perry and the late Michael Warner Perry, was born December 30, 1961 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, September 22, 2022 in Nashville. Age: 60
Kathy had been employed as a Teller at Taylor County Bank for several years.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Sheere Newton and husband, Ben of Campbellsville, Erika Renee Gaines and husband, Jeff of Winchester and Clint Graham and wife, Emily of Edmonton; thirteen grandchildren: Macon Graham,
Joy Graham, Stella Graham, Vivian Graham, Eliza Graham, Tate Newton, Luke Newton, Bryce Newton, Riley Newton, Ella Gaines, Cana Gaines, Selah Gaines and Cruz Gaines; one sister and one brother: Bethany Perry of Tennessee, and Mike Perry of Colorado; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Kathy was also preceded in death by her step-father, Ron Coleman.

Stella Thomas Morrison of the Mac Community of Taylor County, Kentucky departed this life on September 20, 2022 at the age of 89, only a short distance from the place where she was born on August 21, 1933, daughter of the late Thomas Hendricks Johnson and Edmonia Cessna Howard Purcell Johnson.
Stella was a homemaker. She was a meticulous housekeeper and an excellent cook. Before her health failed, she raised a large garden and enjoyed tending her chickens. She was a textbook of information about the families in her native community. Most importantly, Stella had professed faith in Jesus Christ when a young woman and lived a consistent Christian life. She was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She read and studied her Bible each day until failing vision intervened. She adored music, particularly the old hymns, and was a talented pianist, having played the piano for the Sunday School Services at the Medco Nursing Home for many years. Stella was a jolly soul who loved games and playing practical jokes.
She was united in marriage to Elton Powers “Chief” Morrison on March 6, 1965. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2007. Stella was also preceded in death by an infant son, Stevenson Purcell Reynolds, on May 24, 1954.
Survivors include a nephew, Gary Johnson and his wife, Judy; two great-nephews: Josh Johnson and his wife, Leeann, and Jeremy Johnson; great-great nieces and nephews: Ashton Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Shelby Martin, Tanner Martin and Bryce Cook. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Josie Morrison, of Campbellsville.
In addition to her husband and child, Stella was preceded in death by a brother, Hiestand Johnson, a nephew, Thomas Wayne Johnson and a host of friends and other relatives.

Nellie Livesay of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alfred Gumm and Mattie Ann Seaborne Gumm, was born January 19, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:54 A.M., Monday, September 19, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Nellie was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty-six years of service.
She united in marriage to Thomas Livesay September 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death October 18, 1977.
Nellie was a strong and amazing woman and endured hardships with grace and never lost her faith. Her family considered to be a most loving person.
Nellie is survived by four sisters: Carol McClure and Peggy Houk of Campbellsville; Christine Forrest of Indiana and Irene Barnett of Munfordville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Donnie Livesay and three brothers and one sister: Buck Gumm, Johnny Gumm, Haskell Gumm and Imogene Harris.

Elsa Katheryn Humphress of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Stanley Lee and Alma Ross Kidwell Lee, was born September 15, 1934 in Monroe County, Kentucky. She died September 18, 2022 in Hardin County, Kentucky at the age of 88.
She professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age.
She was united in marriage to Winfred Jolly Humphress on December 15, 1951 and was a committed wife for over 70 years. Katheryn dedicated her life to her husband, her family, and her home. She was also affectionately called Mama, Kat, Mama Kat, Grandma, and Mammy by all who loved her. Katheryn blessed others with her excellent cooking skills and never hesitated to feed anyone who graced her doorstep or was in need. As a devoted homemaker, she was the epitome of a ‘neighborhood momma’ and touched the lives of many children over the years. She loved tending to her flowers and plants and everything she touched flourished. Katheryn cherished having her very large family around her during the holidays and a full house was exactly what she desired.
Besides her husband, Jolly Humphress of Campbellsville, Katheryn is survived by two sons and four daughters: Linda and Brent McCubbin, David and Connie Humphress, Patti and Terry Brown, Charlotte Reynolds and companion Randy Biggs, John Daniel (J.D.) and Anna Humphress and Lisa Humphress Myers; fourteen grandchildren: B.J. and Deanna Newton, Erica McCubbin, Jessica McGregor, Brian and Carrie Humphress, Cameron and Deana Humphress, Conleigh and Josh Graves, Lindsay and Justin Newton, Brittany and Darian Gray, Brehm and Bethany Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds and fiancé, Rachel Veatch, Sydney Humphress and fiancé, Dalton Blair, Evan Humphress, Chelsea and Michelle Nelson, and Jordan and Richard Hunt; twenty four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Bobby and Jennifer Lee of Smithville, Tennessee, Brenda and Terrell Murphy of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Dickie and Colleen Lee of Glasgow, Kentucky; niece Sylvia Brown; and many other family members and friends. Katheryn was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Harley Lee, Maxie Lee, Bill Lee, Frances Moore and Robbie Harlan and a son-in-law, William Myers.
