Betty Singleton of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Luke Thompson and Beulah Thompson, was born May 27, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:25 A.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
Betty was a retired beautician and loved flowers and gardening. She was a very independent woman who often spoke her mind.
She united in marriage to Woodrow Singleton who preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by three grandchildren: Jessica Sapp of Campbellsville, Daniel Sapp and life partner, Cindy Knight and David Sapp of Louisville; five great-grandchildren: Adrienne Arford and life partner, Nathan Lewis, Terry Arford, III and life partner, Ashlee Cox, Austin Arford and life partner, Megan Reynolds, Anthony Sapp and Amber Cox; four great-great-grandchildren: Emberlyn Gutierrez, Kaia Arford, Nova Sapp and Avery Sapp; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in by two children: David W. Sapp and Gail Smith; one great-great-grandchild, Christopher Sapp.

Doris Gabehart Trautman of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ewing Gabehart and Myrtie Chisholm Gabehart was born May 29, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:20 A.M., Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in Campbellsville after an accidental fall. Age: 93
She retired from Fruit of the Loom after some 47 years of service.
Doris was a feisty and very independent woman.
She united in marriage to her long time companion, Edmond Trautman December 9, 2009. He preceded her in death July 11, 2018.
She is survived by three nephews and two nieces: Kevin Gabehart and wife, Lisa of Campbellsville, Robby Gabehart and wife, Mildred of Pippa Passes, Tony Gabehart and wife, Cindy, Janet Bradley and husband, Mark and Terri Gabehart of Campbellsville, several great and great-great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Carl Lewis Gabehart, James Edmond Gabehart and Ailene Gabehart and one niece, Karen Prince.

Phyllus Harrison, of Elk Horn, daughter of the late Joe Baker and Ruth Cheatham Baker, was born July 24, 1934 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. She died at 7:35 P.M., Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. She was a prayer warrior and loved unconditionally. Phyllus was a retired medical assistant.
She united in marriage to Sam Harrison February 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 21, 2014. Phyllus is survived by two daughters: Kathy Harden and husband, Ricky and Sheila Moore and husband, Robert of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Chad Wilson, Jamie Wright and husband, Tommy, Cory Harrison, Justin Harden and wife, Kendal, Chris Harrison and wife, Megan, Jessie Yates and husband, Austin and Sami Jo Hollingsworth and husband, Ben; thirteen great-grandchildren: Ava Harrison, Gavin Harrison, Ella Grace Harrison, Levi Harrison, Blayz Wright, Rhealin Wright, Saylor Wilson, Poppi Harden, Iris Harden, Lux Harden, Honey Harden, Vere Harden and Shepherd Hollingsworth; one brother, Amel Baker and wife, Carolyn of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gene Douglas Harrison March 29, 2000.

Landon Newton of Campbellsville, son of David Alan Newton and Angie Brewer Newton, was born July 5, 1992 in Hardin County, Kentucky. He died at 10:00A.M., Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 29
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Three Trees Church.
Landon was an employee of Lee’s Famous Recipe.
He was a kind-hearted, smart, talented man who enjoyed golfing, playing the guitar, and video games. He dearly loved his family and liked spending time with them.
Landon was compassionate toward the homeless and would give the shirt off his back to help others.
He is survived by the love of his life, Kelsey Feltner and was so looking forward to their marriage; his parents David Alan and Angie Newton; one sister, Sarah Hayes and husband, Drew, and was known as Uncle Lan to his two nieces: Anniston and Emerson Hayes all of Campbellsville; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Lorene Whitley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Callahan and Lottie Herron Callahan, was born February 24, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:03 P.M., Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
Lorene was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-four years of service.
She united in marriage to Joseph “Joe” Whitley June 14, 1950 and he preceded her in death October 30, 1988.
She loved her children and family. She also enjoyed her flowers, watching game shows and listening to George Jones.
Lorene is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kathy Whitley of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Brad Akridge and wife, Regina and Derrick Whitley and wife, Felicia of Campbellsville, Lisa Blandford and husband, Tommy of Lebanon and Andrea Wood and husband, Mark of Russellville; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Odel Callahan and wife, Charlotte of Campbellsville and Rudolf Callahan of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marla Gale Gilbert September 6, 2021; a son-in-law, Mel Gilbert January 25, 2018 and a brother, Tom Callahan.
