Lora E. Perry of Campbellsville, daughter of the late
Edward Lee Powell and Nora Ellen Blankenship Powell was born in
Green County, Kentucky, October 16, 1913. She died at 9:45
A.M., Saturday, December 25, 2010, in
Campbellsville.
Age: 97 She had professed faith in Christ. She is survived by
two nieces: Jane Woodrum of Louisville and Juanita Wells of
Campbellsville; two great-nephews: John Woodrum of Florence,
Alabama and Larry Wells of Lexington; many other relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Wayne Perry
April 15, 1986.

JUNE FRANCES ISAACS SHIPP, 72, was born August 18, 1938 in
Campbellsville, Kentucky and died Thursday, December 16, 2010. She
was graduated from Campbellsville High School and later from St.
Joseph Infirmary School of Nursing in Lexington, Kentucky in 1959
and attended Campbellsville University. She was employed by
Rosary Hospital and Taylor County Regional Hospital in
Campbellsville, Kentucky. Later, she was the Operating Room
Director at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Louisville; Lee
Moffet Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, and Palm Beach Regional
Hospital in Wellington, Florida. She spent three years as O.
R. Director at Prestonsburg Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg,
Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her mother, Edith Frances
Carroll. She is survived by her son, Steven Jarrett Smith of
Campbellsville, Kentucky; two sisters, Imogene Isaacs of West Palm
Beach, Florida and Dr. Jann Isaacs Aaron, M.D., her son, Trent
Aaron of California and Jann’s husband, Dr. W. Henry Baughman of
Smithfield, Kentucky; one brother, Terry Isaacs and his wife, Karen
and son, Drew and granddaughter, Josey Ann of Murray, Kentucky; her
fiancee’, Hugh Sam Williams D.V.M. and his two children, John Sam
Williams and wife, Nicole and Allison Williams, and three
grandchildren, Grayson and Harrison Willard and Amelia Williams,
all of Oldham County. Memorial service will be at 8:00 P.M.,
Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey
Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. prior to service.

member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was a former
employee of Buckhorn Block Company. He is survived by one daughter

Dorothy Beard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late
Jenkins Pickett and Willia Edwards Pickett, was born in Adair
County, Kentucky, October 5, 1923. She died at 9:56 P.M.,
Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Campbellsville.
Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member
of the First United Methodist Church. She was a retired school
teacher and librarian with the Campbellsville Independent School
System. She united in marriage to James E. Beard June 29,
1945. He preceded her in death October 5, 2000. She is
survived by one daughter and one son: Nancy Nuss and husband,
Rick of Campbellsville and Barry Jenkins Beard and wife, Karen of
Brandon, Florida; four grandchildren: Natalie Sanders Brinley
and husband, Rodney and Ashley Sanders Kuehl and husband, Greg, of
Louisville, Ryan Edward Beard and wife, Janette of Dunnville and
Tara Lindsay Horn and husband, Patrick of Valrico, Florida; two

Oden Ray Durham, a retired farmer, of Campbellsville, son of the late Irvin Durham and Thelma Webb Durham, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 14, 1938.  He died at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Campbellsville.  Age: 72

He professed faith in Christ.

He united in marriage to Mary Lou Cox in 1982.

Besides his wife, Mary Lou Durham of Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother and two sisters:  James Durham, Loretta Willis and Mary Frances Blakeman of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Keith Durham, Clinton Edward Durham and Lynwood Durham and a sister, Mary Belle Durham in infancy.
