Amedeo “Fred” Politano of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of the east side of Chicago, son of the late Vincenzo Politano and Cittadus Coucetto Politano, was born in Cosenza,
Italy, August 13, 1918. He died at 9:30 A.M., Thursday, November 17, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 93
He was a barber on the east side of Chicago for over sixty years.
He sang lead in five major operas in Chicago.
He servedhis country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II.
He united in marriage to Louise B. Woszczynski who preceded him in death August 4, 1992.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Logullo of Bourbonnais, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Ida Politano of Chicago, Illinois; special friend, Pat Pritchard of Campbellsville, Kentucky;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Aldo Politano, Otto Politano, and Tony Politano.

Helen Bowen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Rease Bowen and Alice Campbell Bowen, was born in Taylor
County, Kentucky, December 14, 1927. She died at 5:17 P.M., Monday, November 14, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
She was co-owner of John Hoffman Fruit Market in Louisville for several years.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Allen Pike and Patricia Pike Wilcoxson and husband, Tim of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Wade Allen Pike of Japan,
Corey Jacob Pike and Emily Jae Hamlett of Campbellsville; two sisters and one brother: Marjorie Hendrickson, Jean Stanfield and W. R. Bowen of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Lynn Pike January 3, 2000 and three brothers: George Alfred Bowen, Richard Lee Bowen and W. A. Bowen.

Mrs. Edna M. Bragg, age 75, of Green River Lake Commons, died Saturday November 12, 2011, at her
residence after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Birdie Smith Thompson. She was also preceded in death
by four brothers, Dewey Thompson, Claude Thompson, Raymond Thompson, Billy Thompson, two sisters, Loraine Raines and Betty Nichols.
She is survived by her husband Brother Ross V. Bragg, two sons and spouses, Ross and Janet Bragg of Campbellsville and Tim and Donna Bragg of Maine. Five grandchildren also survive, Dustin, Austin, Houston, Tyler and Alexis Bragg.

She was the daughter of the late Belkna[p Roosevelt and Mary Cardilla Logan Smith
She was also preceded in death by her huband, Alfonso Caldwell, one son, Wayne Caldwell, brothers and sisters, John Ike Smith, James Henry Smith, Robert Roosevelt Smith, Rainey Smith, Mary Lucy Smith Barnett and Anna Bertha Smith.

Kathleen Helen Kenefake of Campbellsville, formerly of Henderson, daughter of the late Charles Stanley and Hattie Osborne Stanley, was born in Robinson, Illinois, September 2, 1921. She
died at 7:30 A.M., Friday, November 4, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She attended St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Campbellsville and was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Henderson where she was the head of the Alter Guild and a member of St. Anne’s Guild.
She was a former employee with Lincoln Federal Savings & Loan in Henderson and administered the first Veterans Administration loans in that area.
She united in marriage to Francis William Kenefake who preceded her in death in February, 2002.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Danny Morton of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jonathan Edward Morton and wife, Jade of Campbellsville, Michael Jonathan Morton and fiancée, Allison Sircy of Bowling Green and Melissa Anne Morton and fiancée, Travis Johnston of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one great-granddaughter, Emmanuel Moria Morton and one
