David Leigh of Elk Horn, son of the late Rufus John Leigh and Eulalie Clements Leigh, was born in Casey County, Kentucky, August 11, 1949. He died at 7:32 A.M., Monday, May 28, 2012, in Elizabethtown. Age: 62
He professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God.
He was a forklift driver with Greensburg Manufacturing in Greensburg.
He loved working on classic cars, hobby farming and deer hunting.
He was the best husband, best father, grandfather and great-grandfather anyone could have.
Besides his wife, Linda Mings Leigh, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Ricky Leigh and wife, Gina, Angie Cash and husband, Geno and J. T. Leigh and wife, Sami of Elk Horn; eight grandchildren: Jonathon Leigh and wife, Cassie, Brody Schnieder, Kali Schnieder, Little Dave Leigh, Makayla Cash, Lindsey Cash, Shelby Leigh and Jack Leigh of Elk Horn; one great-grandson, Isaiah Leigh; two sisters: Carolyn Jent and husband, Jesse of Anderson, Indiana and Shirley Yeagley and husband, Dave of Elwood, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Rosanna Leigh of Anderson, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Leigh.

Gladys Barnett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie Matt Dudgeon and Eva Carroll Dudgeon, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 15, 1921. She died at 1:56 P. M., Friday, May 25, 2012, in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Henry Barnett February 18, 1940. He preceded her in death August 1, 2004.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Harlon Barnett and wife, Carolyn and Sammy Barnett and wife, Brenda of Campbellsville, Carolyn McMillen and husband, David of Dayton, Ohio and Betty Barnett of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren: Deanna Brangers and husband, Jason and Kerry Barnett and wife, Angela of Louisville, Paul McMillen of Columbus, Ohio, Kevin McMillen of Dallas, Texas and Heather Moret and husband, Stephen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eight great-grandchildren: Chelsy Stone, Chelsey Barnett, Levi Barnett, Macy Brangers, Ainsley Brangers, Jackson Moret, Samuel Moret and Benjamin Moret; one sister, Ruby Clark of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Ray Barnett June 2, 1995 and two brothers and three sisters: Robert Dudgeon, Grace Parker, Lottie Lewis, Raymond Dudgeon and Gay Walters.

She was an employee of Cox Shavings in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Willard Sallee September 18, 1959.
Besides her husband, Willard Sallee, she is survived by two daughters: Amy Rainwater and husband, Ryan and Sheri Fulks and husband, Frank of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jonathan Fulks, Brandon Rainwater and Jacob Rainwater; four great-grandchildren: Memphis Milby, Chesney Davis, Ryder Fulks and Ridge Fulks; one brother and four sisters: Russell Close of Arizona, Sue Holmes, Lorene Caulk, Phyllis Milby and Lula Rae Mitchell of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He united in marriage to Juanita Parker March 2, 1961. She preceded him in death July 2, 2007.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Russ Noe of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jonathan O’Banion and wife, Shanon and Brittany Preston and husband, Adam of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Landon Thomas O’Banion and Avery Ellen Preston of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Glenn Collins, Walter “Pete” Collins, Clifford Collins, Billy Collins and Faye Pike.

Charles Learner Thompson 81, Campbellsville, died Friday at Taylor Regional Hospital, after an illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Bricken) Thompson, Three daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Gary Milby, Donna and Larry Collins, all of Campbellsville, and Janet and Greg Eastridge of Ashland. one son and daughter-in-law Charles Douglas and Annette Thompson of Campbellsville. Eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one step grandchild and one step great-grandchild, also survive along with one brother and two sisters, James and Joyce Thompson of Springfield, Tenn., Viola and Tom Murray of Midland, Texas and Sherry and Lowell Stayton of Oklahoma, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Charles Thompson will be conducted at 10 AM Monday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Robert Bruce Buckman, age 85, of Campbellsville, died Wednesday 16th, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim Buckman of Knifley, Russell and Brenda Buckman of Springfield, Joe and Sharon Buckman, Phillip and Vickie Buckman and Danny and Charlotte Buckman all of Campbellsville. One daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Mark Tucker of Campbellsville, and daughter-in-law, Frances Buckman of Marion County. Twenty Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive along with on brother, Marion Buckman of Texas.
Funeral services for Mr. Buckman will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday May 20th at Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home. Burial at Lady of Fatima.
