Versie Colwell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Marion Combs and Ellen Cornett Combs, was born in Perry County, Kentucky, March 21, 1915. She died at 7:28 A.M., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 96
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Brack Colwell July 18, 1936. He preceded her in death September 13, 2000.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: James Marion Colwell of Campbellsville, Dawn Cavallo and husband, Louis of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Reta Newsome and husband, Forest of Summerfield, Florida; five grandsons: Dr. Lou Cavallo and wife, Pam of Chicago, Illinois, James Allen Colwell of Morristown, Tennessee, Joseph M. Cavallo and wife, Tonya and Kenneth W. Colwell and wife, Tammy of New Albany, Indiana and Eric Newsome and wife, Wendi of Bardstown; eleven great-grandchildren: Christopher Cavallo, James Paul Colwell, Natalie Marie Cavallo, Amanda Newsome, Braxton Bragg, Kelsey Bragg, Evan Newsome, Austin Colwell, Samantha Colwell, Chase J. Cavallo and Jack Cavallo; one sister, Ethel Combs Campbell of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Enos Combs, Charles Monis Combs, Edith Brock, Claude Combs, Fred Combs and Virginia Colwell.

Floyd “Buddy” Price of Campbellsville, son of the late Floyd Price and Mable Warner Price Harris, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 28, 1959. He died at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 27, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 51
He was a former construction employee.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, James Floyd Harris, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of Campbellsville; two step-brothers: Jimmy Harris and Todd Harris of Lincoln, Illinois; special friends, Wanda Locke, Linda Penix and Audrey Edwards of Campbellsville; one niece and one nephew, Mitney Lynn Harris and Austin Jacob Harris of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.

Mary Nell Kinser of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Hickman Cannon and Sylvia B. Conklin Cannon was born in Dayton, Ohio,
March 25, 1917. She died at 12:15 A.M., Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a former employee of the Telephone Company, Monson’s Department Store, and Parks Belk.
She united in marriage to Herman Kinser October 6, 1939. He preceded her in death September 13, 1983.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Phylis Richardson and husband, Charles and Walter Lee Kinser and wife, Carolyn of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Tammy Stamp and husband, Jerry, Amy Parker and husband, Kent, Chris Kinser and wife, Melissa, Lisa Riggs and husband, Kenny, and Cheryl Dicken and husband, Mark; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Earl B. Cannon.

James Paul Osborne, age 86, of Speck Ridge Road, Elkhorn died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at his residence after an illness.
He was the son of the late David and Victoria Osborne, he was also preceded in death by his brothers & sisters, Wildy Osborne, Noah Osborne, Chester Osborne, Cecilia Williams and Faye Jones.

Willie Ray Shipp of Campbellsville, son of the late Raymond Shipp and Annie Hord Shipp, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 1, 1932. He died at 7:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 78
He was a farmer in Taylor County all his life.
He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army, working as a dozer and dirt pan instructor with the Army Corps of Engineers.
He united in marriage to Kay Benningfield June 2, 1963.
Besides his wife, Kay Shipp, he is survived by two sons: Louis Ray Shipp and David Glenn Shipp and wife, Janice of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Annie Kay Shipp;
two step-grandchildren: Natalie Sallee and Andrew Bowen; one sister-in-law, Loenell Shipp of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Richard “Dick” Shipp, Glenwood Shipp, and one brother in infancy.

Dennis Hugh Morgan of Campbellsville, son of the late Alvin Morgan and Helen Lewis Morgan, was born in Detroit, Michigan, February 14, 1945. He died at 6:46 P.M., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 66
He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company after some forty-four years.
He was a member of the Ford Local #182 UAW in Livonia, Michigan for forty-four years.
He loved to travel, enjoyed going to the park and being around nature, and enjoyed boating, especially when he could easily access the water with a floating jet ski dock similar to the ones at EZ Dock of Long Island.
He united in marriage to Gloria Jean Gray Huffman May 30, 2007.
Besides his wife, Gloria Jean Morgan, he is survived by his children: Donna Schnapp and husband, John of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark Morgan and wife, Michelle of Linden, Michigan, Keith Morgan, along with his companion Nancy Budde and Angela N. Fluckes and husband, Lorenzo of Garden City, Michigan, Tammie Henderson Cornell and husband, Dale of Campbellsville and Dike Jenkins, Jr. and wife, Julie of Painesville, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren: Meena Z. Huffman, Daniel L.
