Raymond Coles Flewwellin (80) went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 16, 2010.  He was born May 31, 1929 in Wilton, Connecticut.  He was the son of the late Ernest and Helen Flewwellin and was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Jane McCarthy (1965), his oldest son Raymond Michael (1967), and his only daughter, Kay Cornell (2009).

Milton Shofner, age 75, of Smith Ridge Road, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his residence after an illness.
He is survived by his wife Charlene Shofner of Campbellsville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Howard Lewis and Linda Shofner, Steven Thomas and Tonya Shofner both of Green County, and John Milton and April Shofner of Taylor County, two daughters and sons-in-law, Caffee Lane and David Patterson of Green County, and Sandra and Keith Walker of Lawrencburg, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two brothers Bonnie Reed Shofner and Randell Joe Shofner both of Green County, and one sister Linda Marcum of Green County also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM, Thursday April 15, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family request visitation 5-8PM, Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be given to Hosparus of Central Kentucky and may be made at the funeral home.

Rose Hunn Rogers, age 90, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.

She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Carl “Spot” Rogers of Scottsville, Ed & Gretchen Rogers of Greensburg, David L. Rogers of Campbellsville, one daughter and son-in-law, Elsie Rogers & Bobby Miller, Jr. of Campbellsville, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 AM., Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Brookside Cemetery.

No public visitation.

Frances Inez Adams, age 90, of Bass Ridge, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Medco Nursing Home after an illness.

She was the daughter of the lateAlbert and Lizzie Noel.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ruby Adams on October  16, 1989.  She was former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sophia Adams of Elkhorn and Don & Betty Adams of Campbellsville, one granddaughter, Donna Reed of Louisville, one step-grandson, Mike Murray of Campbellsville, one niece, Patricia Gaines of Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
