Altha Bland of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Newton and Minnie Ayers Newton, was born July 25, 1905, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:17 A.M., Friday, June 12, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 103
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Forest O. Bland January 27, 1923. He preceded her in death July 1, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Ruth Meadows and husband, J. D. of Campbellsville, Frances Shofner of Shively and Ralph Bland of Valley Station; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bess Isaac of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters: Mary Kemp, Jim Newton, Otha Newton, Minnie Turner, Helen Webb and Shirley Begeman.

Zillah VanCleave of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Marvin Antle and Cordie Pike Antle, was born March 4, 1919, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:28 P.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to William VanCleave September 15, 1937. He preceded her in death June 15, 1989.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Paula VanCleave of Campbellsville; son-in-law, Haydon Pickett of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Robby VanCleave, Nikki Bell, and Deanna Campbell of Campbellsville, Jill Todd of SanAntonio, Texas, and Kellie Scott of Louisville; seven great-grandchildren: Alicia Mitchell, Wesley Campbell, and Jared Campbell of Campbellsville, Benjamin Todd and Rachel Todd of Texas, and Colleen Scott and Claire Scott of Louisville; one great-great-grandson, William Braxton Mitchell of Campbellsville; one brother, Veachel Antle of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cary Pickett August 22, 1997; one grandson-in-law, Rodger Campbell April 9, 200 one great-grandson, Jonathon William Campbell April 4, 199 and two brothers and three sisters: Harvey Antle, Arthur E. Antle, Arvina Taylor, Marie DeSpain, and Christine Fowler.

She had been employed as a corrections officer at Marion Adjustment Center.
She is survived by her companion, Glenn E. Smith of Liberty; three daughters: Ronda (Raymond) Garrett, Kay (Joe) Wright, and Patricia Howard of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Alton Richard (Sarah) Bright III, Bobby Daren Bright, Sheri Denice Bright, Jared Allen Sammons, Cody Mann, and Shawn Mann of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Kaylei Sammons, Allie and Kealey Mann, Gavin Chappel, and Kadence Houk; four brothers: Ronald Hicks, Carl Hicks, and Ricky Hicks of Campbellsville and Phillip Hicks of Connersville, Indiana; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

She united in marriage to James R. Curry June 29, 1974. He preceded her in death February 14, 2009.
She is survived by one brother and one sister-in-law, James and Abbie Mings of Campbellsville; two nephews and one niece: Kevin Mings and Michael Mings of Campbellsville and Rhonda Burns of Princeton; two great-nieces and five great-nephews: Jaycee Mings, Sidney Mings, Ethan Mings, Drake Mings and, Zachary Mings of Campbellsville, Shane Burns and Landon Burns of Princeton and many other relatives and friends.

William ldquo;Billrdquo; Henderson of Campbellsville, son of the late Lloyd E. Henderson Sr. and Louise VanCleave Henderson was born
September 3, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:15 A.M., Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 76
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher for fifty-one consecutive years. He was ordained an Elder in 1958 by Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He retired from McMahan Cherry Furniture Company and was a farmer.
He united in marriage to Barbara Hughes December 15, 1957.
Besides his wife, Barbara Henderson of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Jeff and Pat Henderson of McKee, Stan and Debbie Henderson of Dayton, Tennessee and Jennifer and Doug King of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren: Whitney (Josh) Tobias of McKee, Ryan Henderson of Lexington, Erin Henderson of Nashville, Kacey Henderson of Dayton, Tennessee and Derek King and Katie King of Beaver Dam; two brothers and their wives, David and Shirley Henderson of Campbellsville and Lloyd and Charlotte Henderson of Elizabethtown; one nephew and two nieces, David L. She was the daughter of the late Thompson and Addie Holmes Williams. She was proceeded in death by three brothers, Joseph Williams, David Williams, and Walter Williams, one sister Irene Skaggs.

Skaggs of Campbellsville, Judy and David Hoagland and Mary Jo Leathers of Lexington; four grandchildren: Jeff Hoagland and Richard Hoagland of Lexington, Brandon Skaggs and wife, Shanna of Columbia and Daniel Skaggs of Missoula, Montana; two great-grandsons: James Walter Skaggs and Alex Coomer Skaggs of Columbia; three brothers and three sisters: Jack Cole of Delaware, Frank Cole, Pauline Freeman and Rollin Cole and wife, Jeanette of Lawrenceburg, Maxine Hahn of Bardstown and Imogene Drury and husband, Al of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
