Willard ldquo;Billrdquo; Burress, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Willard Burress, Sr. and Bertha Lee Watson Burress, was born February 13, 1928, in Madison County, Kentucky. He died at 12:45 A.M., Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Lexington. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ, was Baptized in 1939, and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served honorably in the United States Navy some eight years, eleven months, and six days and attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
He was retired from Belknap Hardware after thirty some years and was custodian at Campbellsville Christian Church several years before his second retirement.
He is survived by two nephews and two nieces: Eddie Franklin and wife, Nancy and Tony Franklin and wife, Anita of Campbellsville, Barbara Bloyd and husband, Roger of Lawrenceburg and Tammy Underwood of Augusta, Kentucky; eleven great-nieces and nephews: Angela Marshall, Andrea McCubbin, Josh Bloyd, Cory Bloyd, T. J. Franklin, Allison Franklin, Alexandria Franklin, Amanda Tatchell, Ashley Renfrow, Stacy McNear, and Brooke Milby; six great-great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Franklin April 15, 1994.

Mary White of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Cleveland Sublett and Mary Elizabeth Blevins Sublett, was born December 12, 1909 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:40 P.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 99
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a retired supervisor for Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Millard ldquo;Runtrdquo; White April 23, 1928. He preceded her in death February 21, 1992.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Henry and June White of Columbia; three grandchildren: Bonnie Netherland and husband, Ray and Linda
Clark and husband, Bobby of Bowling Green and Danny White of Friendswood, Texas, four great-grandchildren: Jennifer Hronek and husband, Mike of Newport, Kentucky, Elizabeth Carter of Eureka, California and Danielle White and Adriana Beasley of Friendswood, Texas; mother of her grandchildren, Jane Fisher of Campbellsville; one sister, Estella Hare of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Jonathan Clark and one brother and one sister: Charlie Sublett and Ruth Judd.

Ethel Buchanan of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Seymour Shaw and Mabel Russell Shaw, was born January 27, 1918 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:27 P.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was a retired deputy circuit court clerk after many years of service.
She united in marriage to Frank ldquo;Tonyrdquo; Buchanan November 6, 1954. He preceded her in death April 2, 1987.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Ellen Goff and husband, Donald of Campbellsville, Barbara Lewis and husband, James of Louisville and George R. Buchanan and wife, Chris of Lebanon, Tennessee; three grandchildren; three brothers and one sister: Buddy Shaw and Don Shaw and wife, Gail of Campbellsville, Sara W. Buckler of Lebanon and Dick Shaw and wife, Charlene of Big Bear Lake City, California; sister-in-law, Liz Shaw of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Shaw February 22, 2008 and J. T. ldquo;Jimmyrdquo; Shaw June 21, 2007.

Jerry Ronald Wise, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Edith Newton Wise Hunt and the late Maurice Wise, was born July 14, 1945, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Florida. Age: 63
He had been employed at Winnrsquo;s Store for Men, Johnathan Logan Clothing and also in construction.
He is survived by one son, Brandon Ray Wise of Delray Beach, Florida; his mother, Edith Wise Hunt of Campbellsville; four brothers: R. W. Helen Bohanon Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Lonzo Thomas Bohanon and Pansy White Bohanon was born May 4, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:15 P.M., Saturday, May 23, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.
She and her husband founded Cox Cabinet Company, Cox Interior and Cox Weather Stripping (which is now Mannsville Sash and Door).
She united in marriage to Charles E. Cox December 16, 1944. He preceded her in death September 30, 2002.

Kermit Junior Greer

Kermit Junior Greer, 70, died Wednesday at his residence after an illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gibb and Marie Greer, also preceding him in death by his brothers and sisters, Herman Greer, Eddie Greer, Joseph Greer, Iza Mae Peyton, Louise Thompson and Stella Irene Greer.
He is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky Greer, Robin Greer and his fiancee, Annie Dotson all of Campbellsville and Ronnie and Teresa Kay Greer of Florida, one step-daughter Jessica Sharpe of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, Holly Dudgeon, Shane Greer, Patrick Greer, Jeremy Greer, Eric Greer and two great grandchildren, Lilly and Creed Dudgeon, one brother, Ernie Greer of Campbellsville, Shirley Cox of Campbellsville and Evelyn Gay Bault of Campbellsville.

Cora Lee Garrett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Roy McFall, Sr. and Mattie Pearl Stearns McFall, was born May 5, 1937. She joined her angels on Monday, April 20, 2009 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, after a courageous battle with cancer. Age: 71
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She united in marriage to Earl Weaver Garrett. He preceded her in death December 21, 1991.
She relished raising her children as she moved across the country with her husbandrsquo;s career and she instilled this adventurous spirit in her children as well.
She loved her work as a people greeter at the Campbellsville Wal Mart, where customers and co-workers alike remember her endearing smile, generous nature and positive outlook on life.
She is survived by three daughters and one son: Cynthia Gavins of Vancleave, Mississippi, Lisa Klop of Brunswick, Maine, Tammy Fields of Raleigh, North Carolina and Richard Garrett of Acworth, Georgia; one brother, Calvin McFall of Campbellsville; two loving grandsons and one great-granddaughter; one special aunt; several nephews and one niece and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by twin sons, Benny and Denny McKinney October 4, 1955 and one brother, Roy McFall, Jr. February 8, 1989.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville.

Bradford-Orsquo;Keefe, Howard Avenue, Biloxi, Mississippi, was entrusted with her cremation and as per her wishes, her ashes will join those of her husbandrsquo;s when they are scattered over the North Georgia Mountains by her children.

Onie Lee Farmer, 78, of Liberty Road, Campbellsville, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 , at Taylor Regional Hospital.
He was the son of the late, Bery and Bethy Ellen Farmer. He was also preceded indeath by his first spouse, Delois Farmer in 1984, his brother Roy Farmer, three sisters, Iva Jean Gabehart, Cora Watson and Mary Louise Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Farmer of Campbellsville, four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Leann Farmer, Carl Farmer, Gregory Dean and Eva Farmer all of Mannsville, Bobby and Martha Farmer of Elizabethtown, two daughters and son-in law, Barbara and Bobby Lee, Phyllis Farmer and her companion, Bobby Sanders all of Columbia, step-children and their spouses, Darren Baldridge, George Harrison both of Knifley, William Boyce and Gail Harrison, Betty Joyce and Lewis Clemons, all of Russell County, Irene Hurt of Tennessee, Debra Bryson of Columbia, Sandra Kaye and Roger Tucker of Elizabethtown and Jacqueline Centure of Finley Ohio.
