KATHERINE BLAYDES DURHAM
Katherine Blaydes Durham of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Thomas Blaydes and Lanie Nell Parnell Blaydes was born March 15, 1923 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:30 A.M., Saturday April 18, 2009 in Greensburg. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She united in marriage to Robert Burress July 14, 1945.He preceded her in death March 21, 1974.
She united in marriage to Wilson Durham July 8, 1983. He preceded her in death January 10, 1996.
She is survived by one grandson, whom she raised, Ricky Bohannon and wife, Susan of Columbia; one great-grandson, Robert Wesley Bohannon of Elizabethtown; two great-great-grandchildren: Robert William Bohannon of Elizabethtown and Rickianne Bohannon of Columbia; one sister, Leoner Bennett of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother: Hettie Salmon, Gertrude Ross, Elizabeth Breeding, Hazel Blaydes, and Herbert Blaydes.

Bobby Joe Burris
Bobby Joe Burris, age 68 of Taylors Chapel Road, Taylors Chapel Community in Green County, died Tuesday, at his residence after an illness.
He was the son of the late Rue Simpson and Hortense Carter Burris, also preceding him in death was one brother, Frankie Burris. He was a truck driver for RTC of Columbia, and farmer. He was a member of Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Rita Skaggs Burris, and two daughters and son-in-laws, Sandy and Steve Wright of Lexington, Beth and Craig Sprowles of Campbellsville, and two daughters, Angie Phillips Burris of Green County and Heather Burris of Tennessee. Eight grandchildren also survive along with one brother, Jackie Burris of Campbellsville, one sister, Betty Davis of Shepherdsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Taylors Chapel Cemetery.

Sherry Morgan
Sherry Morgan, age 56 of Coakley Street, Campbellsville, died Monday at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Deanna Webb of Campbellsville, two daughters, Donna Robertson of Campbellsville, and Rhonda Raymer of Morgantown. Eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives along with her mother, Sybil Morgan of Lebanon, three brothers, Ronnie and Steve Morgan of Campbellsville and Tony Morgan of Greensburg, three sisters, Vicky Gribbins and Carla Mattingly both of Lebanon, and Tammy Erving of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Jesus Name Tabernacle Church Cemetery.

Denise Edrington Skaggs of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jack Edrington and Patty Masden Edrington was born April 14, 1961 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 48
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Robert Skaggs August 14, 1999.
Besides her husband, Robert Skaggs of Campbellsville, she is survived by two children: Amy Chappel and fianceacute;, Cody Mann and Jay Chappel; one step-son, Jedidiah Skaggs; three grandchildren: Allie Grace Chappel, Kealey Payton Mann and Gavin Blake Chappel; two sisters, Barbara Curtis of Nicholasville and Pam Vinson and husband Steve of Millinocket, Maine; a sister-in-law, Diane Edrington Chandler of Louisville, five nieces and nephews: Derek Curtis of Bowling Green, Kim Curtis of Nicholasville, Sarah Libby and Aaron Vinson of Maine and Callie Edrington of Richmond; her aunt, Margaret Smith of Lexington and many other relatives and friends.

Margaret C. Harris, 76, of Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Springview Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Scott and Isabelle Sapp Montgomery. Also preceding her in death was two brothers, Carl Lee Montgomery and Scott Montgomery, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Harris of Campbellsville, children and their spouses, Joey Harris, Albert and Kim Harris, Nona and Greg Gribbins all of Campbellsville, Teresa and Gary West of Milo Maine, eight grandchildren, Sara Wyatt, Jackson Harris, Albert Harris, Jr. JonathanWest, Benjamin West, Amanda West, Jacob Harris, Lindsey Hash, two step-grandchildren, Kimmie Gribbins, two great grandchildren, Drayden Hash, Rhyan Hash, one step great grandchild, Emily Rose Watley,, and one sister, Ruth Ann Cowherd of Campbellsville.

Ray McCubbin of Campbellsville, son of the late William Nathan McCubbin and VandaFoster McCubbin was born February 7, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:45 P.M., Monday, April 13, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church.
He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was manager of Monsonrsquo;s Department Store for fifteen years and manager of Parkrsquo;s Belk Department Store for twenty-five years.
He united in marriage to Martha Wethington December 6, 1947.
Besides his wife, Martha Wethington McCubbin of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Terri Chandler of Campbellsville and Connie Moyers and husband, Joe of Lexington; four grandchildren: Jesse Moyers and Leslie Moyers and husband, Brian Rich of Lexington, Lindsay Rae Chandler of Bowling Green and Laura Chandler of Campbellsville; mother-in-law, Bea Wethington of Chatham, Louisiana, one brother and four sisters: Paul McCubbin, Elva Hopkins and Jo Ann Caffee of Campbellsville, Betty Lou Smith of Louisville and Barbara Rogers of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bobby Cates February 16, 1978 and four brothers and one sister: Hugh McCubbin, James McCubbin, Carl McCubbin, Elmer ldquo;Bossrdquo; McCubbin and Claudine Rodgers.
